Without a doubt it {The Quran} is (announced) in the {previous} revealed Books of {the} former peoples. Q (26:196)
Indeed! The Quran by all accounts featured in the ‘Holy Books’ is the REAL NEW TESTAMENT that follows Jewish (old and new or reformed) teachings. This idea becomes even clearer when the notion that there are only two kinds of people in this world: Jews and non-Jews (Gentiles). So, by logic one is either a Jew or a Gentile. Therefore, true Jewish history must include the Jews of old and the reformed Jews who were led by Jesus the son of Mary (pbh) – the last of the Jewish prophets.
According to Jesus (pbh) who is called a prophet in ‘their scripture’ {so they were offended at him {and thought him a fool and outsider}. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Matthew (13:57)
And this thought, in order for it to be true and aboveboard must be gleaned somehow from the Holy Records themselves and not from personal prejudices. These thoughts must be logical, connective and demonstrateable to the reader in order to make sense and to show that what was thought to be the ‘New Testament’ or Ingeel in Arabic (the Christian Book) is in fact an add-on to the Old Testament as can be defined in the Quranic verse 3:50.
We can accept the Christian books (the Ingeel), but as only what they truly are, and that is represented in the Quran as a type of relief writings given to the followers of Jesus (pbh) for their acquiescence to the truth versus those who would still demand to be stuck in the past despite GOD’s Command! In other words, with accepting GOD-given-reform, comes the lifting of partial restrictions that cause some hardships as Quranic verse 3:50 plainly shows.
When the so-called ‘New Testament’ is understood, it will be found that the writings of this ‘book’ contain writings of the Jews and a few who had Jewish leanings who followed a prophet called Jesus (pbh). Furthermore, these individuals proclaimed themselves as to being Jewish and not Christian. For example, much of the so-called New Testament is made up of books from Paul or a Pauline-type source and Paul proclaims himself as Jewish and not Christian.
The Gospels were not written by any Christian but were taken down by Jewish hands from a Jewish source called Q and therefore, they should be classified as Jewish in nature. So, the Old Testament is really broken down into 3 Jewish parts:
- The Pentateuch or the 5 books of Moses.
- The other pre-Jesus prophets making up of the Old Judaism – pre Messianic activity – still under the ‘old regime’.
- The post-Old Jewish Law modified for the benefit of those who listened and believed in the ‘Last Jewish prophet’ – Quranic verse 3:50!
From the Old Testament:
The scepter {the LAW Standard} shall not depart from Judah {Judaism}, nor a lawgiver {or one giving the essence of the LAW} from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; And to him shall be the obedience of the {Law-abiding} people {the people shall look up to this for proper direction and guidance}. Genesis (49:10)
A description of Prophet Muhammad (pbh) and his historic, genetic makeup:
“Behold! MY Servant whom I uphold, MY Elect One in whom MY soul delights! I have put MY Spirit upon him; He will bring forth justice to the GENTILES.
He will not cry out, nor raise his voice, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
A bruised reed he will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.
He will not fail nor be discouraged, till he has established justice in the earth {completed his Mission}; and the coastlands shall wait for his Law.”
Thus says GOD the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, WHO spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, WHO gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it:
“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand; I will keep you and give you as a Covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles. Isaiah (42:1-6)
Sing to the LORD a NEW SONG {signifying that a New Testament is about to be given and this New Testament will not come from Jewish hands}, And HIS praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them!
Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar {the Arab clan} inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela {people of Medina, the Prophet’s City where Mount Sela is, sing {rejoice in that ‘New WAY/Religion}, Let them shout from the top of the mountains. Isaiah (42:10-11)
I will bring the blind by a way they did not know {before}; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.
They shall be turned back {to righteousness}, they shall be greatly ashamed, {because they are they} who {used to} trust in carved images {in the days of Jahiliyah}, who say {falsely} to the molded images, ‘You are our gods.’ Isaiah (42:16-17)
The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; HE will exalt the Law and make it honorable {again in that HE will send down a Book Protected and kept free of stain}. Isaiah (42:21)
Who among you will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come {when this shall occur}?
WHO gave Jacob for plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the LORD, HE against whom we {the backsliders} have sinned? For they would not walk in HIS WAYS, nor were they obedient to HIS LAW. Isaiah (42:23-24)
Therefore HE {GOD} has poured on him {the Children of Israel as a group} the fury of HIS anger and the strength of battle; it has set him {the Children of Israel} on fire all around, yet he {the Children of Israel} did not know {acknowledge this Chastisement and Repent}; and it burned him {the Children of Israel}, yet he did not take it to heart {the Children of Israel would not listen}. Isaiah (42:25)
But he {Jesus} answered and said, “I was not sent {for everyone} except {only} to the lost sheep of the House of Israel {meaning only those of the Jewish nation who have begged GOD for Guidance and not for the other arrogant ones whose hearts have been turned to stone}.” Matthew (15:24)
I, {Jesus, proclaim that I} can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is righteous, because I do not seek my own will but the WILL of the FATHER who sent me. John (5:30)
For where there is a Testament {as a ‘New Law’}, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator {the finality of a death to the one who brings that Law}.
For a Testament is in force {completed only and acting as a STANDARD of BEHAVIOR} after men {who would bring said Testament} are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives {since it can’t be proclaimed to be a finished product and hence, a New Law or Testament to become finalized}. Hebrews (9:16-17)
That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of ALLAH”; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not. Quran (4:157)
Finally, the Quran expresses this sentiment in the following verse:
I {Jesus} have come to you), to attest the LAW which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your LORD. So fear ALLAH, and obey me. Quran (3:50)
Therefore, to the ‘new kids on the block’ or those preferring to follow truth instead of being stuck in the ways of old, Jesus (pbh) is presenting an easier, better Judaism as a reward for those who believed! Those who deny GOD and HIS chosen one (Messiah), will, now and more so in the future, face most terrible trials and torments as history has truly shown!
History has recorded the trials and devastation of the ‘wandering peoples’ (Jews) as if they said unto GOD, THE ONE AND ONLY, ‘this is the way we are going to do it (worship YOU) and we will do it our way and on our terms! But they forgot that GOD rejects the arrogant and it is up to HIM whether or not HE will accept them or not.
And this is according to their last prophet, Jesus the son of Mary (pbh), who literally proclaimed, as does the Quran in Chapter 18 that:
Say (O Muhammad): “Shall WE tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?
“Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds {in service to their LORD}!
“They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, Signs, Revelations, etc.) of their LORD and the Meeting with HIM (in the Hereafter). So their works are in Vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, WE shall not give them any weight.
“That shall be their recompense, Hell; because they disbelieved and took MY Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, Signs, Revelations, etc.) and MY Messengers by way of jest and mockery. Quran (18:103-106)
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of GOD, and yourselves {those who are opposing truth showing contempt for GOD’s WILL} thrust out. Luke (13:28)
As humans, we cannot decide the fate of this or that person based on our faulty, human perceptions. Besides, Judgment does not belong to us for our frailties as human beings have been proven time and time again!!! Yet the TRUE Believer must acknowledge about his LORD that HIS GIFTS must not be spurned or abused!
That being the case, the TRUE Believer will acknowledge and abide by (in truth and not for show) the Command found in the Quran thusly:
O you who believe! Believe in ALLAH and HIS Messenger {Muhammad}, and the scripture which HE has sent to HIS Messenger {Muhammad} and the scripture which HE sent to those before (him). Any who deny ALLAH, HIS Angels, HIS Books, HIS Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, has gone far, far astray Quran (4:136) and
We {people who actually believe in a ONE GOD AND ONE DEVELOPMENTAL MESSAGE} believe in ALLAH, and the Revelation given to us, and to Abraham {and his seed} Isma’il {and} Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their LORD: We make no difference between one and another of them {in their philosophical content}. Quran (2:136).
If you were in doubt as to what WE have revealed unto you {Oh Muslims}, then ask those who have been reading {in earnestness as seekers of truth} the Book from before you: the Truth has indeed come to you from your LORD: so be in no wise of those in doubt. Quran (10:94)
As is stated in the Quran:
If it had been your LORD’s WILL, they (mankind) would all have believed; all who are on the Earth! Will you then force mankind, against their own will {disposition/desires/lusts}, to believe! Quran (10:99)}
Say: “Everyone acts according to his own disposition {whispering secret agenda of one’s soul – for good or bad} but your LORD (The REAL GOD) knows best who it is that is best on the WAY {correct pathway of truth}.” Quran (17: 84)
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword {as I will act as a lightning rod for those who dispute.”} Matthew (10:34)
Jesus declares: “DO NOT think that I have come to get rid of the LAW or the Prophets; I have NOT come to get rid of them but {only} to fulfill them. Matthew (5:17)
And in fulfilling them, he becomes that Messiah for the Believers in a kingdom on Earth right blessed or that which will last until the a man with only a mustard seed of faith found in him is taken up whilst the rest will be reduced to being in a kingdom of shame/evil as found in hadith literature!
For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your GOD will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your {Semitic} brethren {the Arab line}. And it will be that everyone WHO DOES NOT LISTEN to that prophet {AND/OR HIS WAY} will be {eventually and} utterly rooted out of the people {AND DESTROYED for in this Messianic Era, as long as Jesus remains alive, NO stain will be allowed to disrupt the pure worship of THE ONE GOD in his GOD-given kingdom on Earth}. And all the prophets, as many as have spoken, from Samuel and those after him, also predicted these days. Acts (3:22-24)
Jesus (pbh), whether he slept in the tomb-like grotto in a deep, rem-like sleep for 3 hours (at-Tabari) or 7 hours does not matter in this case because a deep sleep is not ‘THE DEATH’ as the person in this sleep has his soul returned to the body after being raised up.
Hence, by definition, Jesus (pbh) did not die a physical death and therefore, he, by virtue of the law given in the Book of Hebrews, did not bring in a new type of testament.*
{*He was raised up from the tomb for accountability, as all men must be, as he and his accusers must be judged as to who committed the wrongs. And this shows the impartibility (total fairness) of his accountability as was his judgment as he completed his ‘test’ and was successful as to the one who was to become the Messiah. Hence, he returned to that type of dominating ‘spirit’ that he was when he was created before his legendary fall as that ‘adam’:
The similitude of Jesus before ALLAH is as that of Adam; HE created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was.
The Truth (comes) from ALLAH alone; so be not of those who doubt. Quran (3:59-60)}
Those castigating Jews who perverted things due to their own prejudices were also on trial and their actions were judged as either righteous or evil in slandering Mary the mother of Jesus (pbh) and the personage of Jesus himself as would be their right of trial in a system built by ALLAH that would be completely free of errors.
Naturally, Jesus (pbh) won out over the liars and he was sent back to the earthly abode (a time period lasting 40 days – Book of Acts) to settle the issues concerning THE WAY and to fulfill his duties so that the Apostles could be made certain about the phenomenon of the Non-Crucifixion and the way to advance this form of ‘new’ Judaism forward as is partially explained in the Gospels.
To whom also he {Jesus} showed himself ALIVE after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them {for} forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of GOD: Acts (1:3)
Hence, the Real LAST Supper (for there were two suppers!) as depicted in the Gospel of Luke and the Final or LAST Supper (Table of Viands) in the Quran together with various appearances of Jesus (pbh) to those qualified as stalwart Presbyters. For in this case, seeing is believing!
