People are always asking this type of question: “Why like this?” This question is asked after every major and even minor tragedies. The only logical answer and the only truthful answer comes from the Quran (the definitive Source for this question) which as a Holy Book covers all practicalities needed for life even though the majority of people don’t believe it or can’t fathom it. And here is the answer, if it can be understood.
The Quran shows that this world is a testing ground for refinement of souls. Whatever man believes as to a life’s purpose of being one shot and its over or a continuation of testing as a refinement process, one thing is clear. That is that this planet, this environment is a place, a realm of contests between predator and prey.
Every species on Earth must behave in an earthly way of showing and defining the contest between getting taken down or surviving whether it be physical in nature or in the case of man, spiritual and physical in nature. Just like with the idea of the Messiah-being or Messiah-ship, the refinement must take place in order to achieve such a status. And once the game is won, it is over for that cycle of life as it were. Like the Olympics, that contest is not held every day but on an every 4 year cycle.
We don’t know or even comprehend the vastness of these mysteries. But we have a Holy Book that gives us details for the simple Believer to the complex Believer. ALLAH is in charge and HE rules the roost. Most people aren’t going to believe it in their selfishness, unthinking lives but STEP by STEP/ or STAGE by STAGE as the prophets have declared in one form or another – Isaiah (28:10) and Quran (84:19) the refinement takes place.
It is going to be the law of the jungle or the law of the Spirit that will win out in the END for the VICTORS. And we have a hadith that 99 out of 100 souls or 999 out of 1000 are not going to be the victors but the doomed tormentors as they are the group classified in the end as the Gog and Magog peoples. That is, they are the collective souls who refused to witness to truth but selfishly tried to dominate the ‘competition’ as it were by using their own swinish rules of choking the life blood off from those who would believe.
Here are some Quranic passages that define our current state of affairs.
When WE bestow favors on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to US {in true gratitude}); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer {saying in effect “O now I remember YOU”}! Quran (41:51)
Then there are among men such as say, “We believe in ALLAH” {THE ONE GOD}; but when they suffer affliction in (the cause of) ALLAH, they treat men’s oppression as if it were the Wrath of ALLAH! And if help comes (to you) from your LORD, they {the weak ones of faith}are sure to say, “We have (always) been with you!” Does not ALLAH know best all that is in the hearts of all creation? Quran (29:10)
If ALLAH were to punish men for their wrong-doing, HE would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature {so be not so aloof about yourselves}: but HE gives them respite for a Sated Term: {to show what they are really made of or why give them respite in the first place?} When their Term expires {those of the wrong- doers}, they would not be able to delay (the punishment {a determined place in Hell-Fire}) for a single hour, {because they cannot justify their total disobedience to ALLAH from their first entry into the Earth’s environs to their last breath taken on Earth as their life records will show} just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour). Quran (16:61)
Fighting is prescribed for you {it is a LAW on this level/domain/spiritual zone/dimension}, and you dislike it {because it takes you out of your comfort zone}. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you {to purify your souls as you claimed beforehand fealty to ALLAH}, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But ALLAH knows {the exact secrets behind this}, and you do not. Quran (2:216)
O you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it NOT for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet {religious Law as set down by ISLAM (the way) the WAY of TRUTH and WORSHIP chosen by HIM}; but do it for righteousness and self-restraint; and fear ALLAH, to WHOM you {most assuredly} shall be brought back. Quran (58:9)
The Jews say: “ALLAH’s hand is tied up.” Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter {GOD IS FOR THEM ALONE}. Nay, both HIS hands are widely outstretched: HE gives and spends (of HIS bounty) as HE pleases. But the Revelation that cometh to you from ALLAH increases in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy {because they are constantly reminded of fairness and justice}. Amongst them WE have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war {by their deeds of suppression and superiority}, ALLAH does extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And ALLAH loves not those who do mischief. Quran (5:64)
So HE has put as a consequence hypocrisy into their hearts {whether they call themselves Muslims or any other named religion for HE is in total control of all souls}, (to last) till the Day, whereon they shall meet HIM: because they {originally} broke their covenant with ALLAH, and because they lied (again and again {and ALLAH’s Judgment will not be put off or annulled}). Quran (9:77)
If a wound has touched you, be sure a similar wound has touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) WE give to men and men by turns: that ALLAH may know those that believe, and that HE may take to HIMSELF from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And ALLAH loves not those that do wrong {by taking THE WAY as some kind of joke for every human being very deep inside him/herself knows that Muhammad is GOD’s PROPHET}. Quran (3:140)
Even if you were to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow your Qibla; nor will you go and follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other’s Qibla. If you, after the knowledge has reached you, were to follow their (vain) desires,-then were you indeed (clearly) in the wrong. Quran (2:145)
The people of the Book {deep within their very souls} know this as they know their own sons {for spiritually, they know GOD is not stupid}; but some of them conceal the truthwhich they themselves know. Quran (2:146)
Say: “What thing is most weighty in evidence?” Say: “ALLAH is witness between me and you; This Qur’an has been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can you possibly bear witness that besides ALLAH there is another ALLAH?” Say: “Nay! I cannot bear witness!” Say: “But in truth HE is the one ALLAH, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him.” Quran (6:19)
Those to whom WE have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe. Quran (6:20)
Thus, have WE made of you an Ummat {a Religious group} justly balanced {from the First to the Last development {that is following the WAY} by sending you the various prophets to gather the faithful and}, that you might be witnesses over the nations {on the Day of Judgment}, and the Messenger {the lead witness or Prophet for this concept} a witness over yourselves {your group, if you are doing your duty}; and WE appointed the Qibla to which you were used {to as it was called Bakkah (Indeed the first House [of worship], established for mankind was that at Bakkah – Quran (3:96) in the very beginning of creation and when Makkah was called by that name}, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous {to return to the Original Way}, except to those guided by ALLAH. And never would ALLAH make your faith of no effect. For ALLAH is to all people most surely full of Kindness, Most Merciful. Quran (2:143)
So, whether one believes it or not, it is HE WHO refines the gold and throws away the dross and no matter how many theories man puts forward, the result is going to be the same: ALLAH’s BOOK or nothing! Harsh truths but why keep whining about ‘why is this happening’?
Explain the real Trinity further:
Man being a three dimensional creature has to conform to his surroundings (habited planet) but because he was put here to ‘test’ his loyalty to his CREATOR, he needs to undergo tests via his experiences to prove his ‘true commitment’. That is why he is called a Steward, Vicegerent or Overlord on this realm (planet). And we can see that most men throughout the dawn of time have made a hash of it.
Abu Said Al-Khudri narrated that the Prophet (pbh)) said, “On the day of Resurrection ALLAH will say, ‘O Adam!’ Adam will reply, ‘Labbaik our LORD, and Sa`daik.’ Then there will be a loud call (saying), ALLAH orders you to take from among your offspring a mission for the (Hell) Fire.’ Adam will say, ‘O LORD! Who are the mission for the (Hell) Fire?’ ALLAH will say, ‘Out of each thousand, take out 999.’ At that time every pregnant female shall drop her load (have a miscarriage) and a child will have grey hair. And you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet not drunk, but severe will be the torment of ALLAH.” When the Prophet (pbh) mentioned this, the people were so distressed (and afraid) that their faces got changed (in color) whereupon the Prophet (pbh) said, “From Gog and Magog nine-hundred ninety-nine will be taken out and one from you. You Muslims (compared to the large number of other people) will be like a black hair on the side of a white ox, or a white hair on the side of a black ox, and I hope that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise.” On that, we said, “Allahu-Akbar!” Then he said, “I hope that you will be) one-third of the people of Paradise.” We again said, “Allahu-Akbar!” Then he said, “(I hope that you will be) one-half of the people of Paradise.” So we said, Allahu Akbar.” (Bukhari)
Due to this and ALLAH’s caring for HIS creations, HE has sent prophets as shepherds to the various flocks throughout time because man has a tendency to go astray. Man’s unerring recorded history (known and unknown) in the heavens on his recorded slate tells a tale of destructiveness and greed.
Whether it is enslaving people, dominating them in one way or another, brutalizing other civilizations by showing them who is superior by race, color, creed or whether it is ripping apart the harmony of the land, sea and air with devouring practices of over-fishing, pollution, strip mining, clearing land practices by recklessly cutting down trees for monoculture or cattle raising, man has been at war one way or another for his own selfish, greedy pleasure.
Anas bin Malik narrated: ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh) said, “If Adam’s son had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys, for nothing fills his mouth except dust. And ALLAH forgives him who repents to HIM.” (Bukhari)
Besides his attack on his natural surroundings, he also takes pride in humiliating his own species through various means one can call war, planned deception, trickery and other joint ventures of cruelty and common indecency.
When they meet those who believe, they say: “We believe;” but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say: “We are really with you: We (were) only jesting.” Quran (2:14)
One sees the adverts on cell phones, etc. promising the Moon but are actually worthless. In fact, one can see scammers all over the place harking their so-called worthless wares while others skim off the top in dishonesty.
Then there are the cruel tyrants that drive after wealth and choke other nations nearly dry, for example, exorbitant rates of interest, while sending millions of men to torment, death and destruction. Welcome to the human race!
Whether political-wise, philosophical-wise, race or religion or non-religious persuasion, man can be his own worst enemy. And to convince his conscience, he turns to his twisted religious-type leanings that his twisted soul manages to un-wrap from the REAL MESSAGE in order to justify his foul and filthy claims.
These are the low-lives from the human race, and no matter their lofty positions, they in reality are nothing more than human scum – devils in human form mocking ALLAH’s creations.
Human scum become human devils and they lead the ‘weaker ones’ of their own kind (political, philosophical, religious membership) to the promised land of the ‘Hell-Fire’ as the villainous Pied Piper they have become. So, misery in this case means company and lots of it.
HE {GOD} will say: “Enter you in the company of the peoples who passed away before you – men and jinns, – into the Fire.” Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Says the last about the first: “Our LORD! It is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire.” HE will say: “Doubled for {you} all”: but this you do not {fully} understand. Quran (7:38)
Into the breach came the prophets to give a Clarion Call to rally man’s being or essence (body, mind and soul), the real Trinity, to turn to the ONE and ONLY GOD by surrendering himself (body, mind and soul) and to put himself under this dynamic activity in order to refresh, re-clean and re-stabilize his spirit in Harmony and Oneness with his CREATOR’s WILL.
Not by our will but by HIS WILL and that translates into English as: There is no god (ruling force) except the ONE GOD and Muhammad is HIS EXAMPLE (Messenger) by which the messengers and their followers must follow as in the Universal Pathway to SALVATION. (Quran and Acts)
Behold! ALLAH took the covenant of {all} the prophets, saying: “I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a Messenger, confirming what is with you; do you believe in him and render him help.” ALLAH said: “Do you agree, and take this MY Covenant as binding on you?” They said: “We agree.” HE said: “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.” Quran (3:81)
On this planet it is called ISLAM or in the Book of Acts, ‘THE WAY’:
And {he/Saul – latter called Paul} asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem {for prison or humiliation}. Acts (9:2)
We call it Islam in honor of the Original Language of describing it. And if that is the language of Paradise (hadith), then what is wrong with that?
Al-Tabaraani narrated in al-Awsat that Abu Hurairah said: the Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) said: “I am an Arab, and the Qur’an is Arabic, and the language of the people of Paradise is Arabic.”
For example, the goal of our adam was to be put under the COMMAND of his LORD so as to become that perfect, obedient slave to his LORD so as to pave the way for the entrance of ALLAH’s chosen Messenger and Servant – Muhammad (pbh). Jesus (pbh) succeeded and Muhammad (pbh) came into the world as man’s Universal Prophet!
But the Advocate {for the human race}, the Holy Spirit {Muhammad}, whom the FATHER will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. John (14:26)
“Behold! MY Servant whom I uphold, MY Elect One in whom MY soul delights! I have put MY Spirit upon him; he {Muhammad} will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. Isaiah (42:1)
WE have not sent you {Muhammad} but as a Universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. Quran (34:28)
So, the real trinity, which man has down through the ages perverted, needs to be realized in truth. Man needs to wake up to the realization that he was born to die and to show where his real loyalties lay and that Paradise and Hell-Fire are most definitely for real!!!
It doesn’t matter the sex, color of one’s skin, nationality or claimed religion at Judgment time. There are always devils in human flesh joyfully willing to create any kind of FITNA (civil unrest) to showcase their allegiance to one party or another. Since the beginning of time 99 out of 100 craven souls have shown dark hearts, selfishly thinking of themselves and dismissing the ONE and ONLY GOD in frivolous pursuits of transient pleasures.
So the real purpose of life is to try and submit one’s whole self to the SUBMISSION to ALLAH.
I {ALLAH} have only created Jinns and men that they may serve {worship} ME. Quran (51:56)
The whole self is the body, mind and soul complex that makes up the human being. So, not by my will or desire but ONLY BY YOURS ALLAH is the signal given to put oneself under HIS care and guidance as Jesus (pbh) declared and showed to the whole world that he was but the willing slave (servant) to his CREATOR LORD.
And that is what a man/woman is actually made of – body, mind and soul!
The body is the cover, the mind is the desire, and the soul is that created spark that forms a pattern of desire or leanings to truth or error. Hence, the term a ‘darkened soul’ means one that practices or desires mischief with ALLAH’s creations. For those who were careless and didn’t give a damn:
“YOU HAVE MET THIS FATE because you {carelessly} rejoiced on the earth in things OTHER than the truth, AND THEN EXULTED IN IT.” Quran (40:75)
And So It Goes!
