Part of Muhammad’s (pbh) last sermon: Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qu’ran AND MY EXAMPLE, the Sunnah and if you follow these {two} YOU WILL NEVER GO ASTRAY.
Say: “O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper) trespassing BEYOND the truth AND DO NOT follow the VAIN DESIRES of people who went wrong in TIMES GONE BY WHO MISLED MANY and strayed (themselves) FROM THE EVEN {BALANCED} WAY. Quran (5:77)
People who are not necessarily religious are probably confused about why there are so many different religions and religious sects in the world? They even go so far as to pooh, pooh the concept of religion. After all, we are supposed to have ONE GOD and therefore, should have a type of unity thinking across the ages or colloquially speaking, across the board!
In truth, such things are not really puzzles because we can easily find the answer in the Quran! We must not take the Quran as just an Arab book on religion because it is a BOOK FOR ALL PEOPLES FOR ALL TIMES TO COME!
It’s true that some people, at various times, places and with differing agendas, have made mischief with this Book but their nonsense is just plain garbage talk from people who have shown themselves to be half-wits. Half-wits attract other half-wits and they go off doing a ‘jig’ together with Satan the outcast.
The Quran tells us in explicit terms why there is so much garbage-time confusion in religion resulting in many sects forming diverse opinions! Naturally, it’s in the Quran:
The Religion before ALLAH IS ISLAM (meaning submission to HIS WILL): Nor did the People of the Book {those calling themselves BELIEVERS} dissent therefrom EXCEPT THROUGH ENVY OF EACH OTHER, {AND THIS HAPPENED ONLY} after {certain} knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of ALLAH , ALLAH is swift in calling to account. Quran (3:19)
From the very beginning of the creation of man, the WAY OF LIFE has been TO SUBMIT ONE’S CREATIVE ENERGIES TO THE CREATOR. There was the choice of ‘free-reign’ or doing one’s own thing and the choice of acknowledging and reigning in one’s will in surrender and recognition to THE ONLY REAL WILL AND THAT WAS GOD’s WILL.
A choice was made NOT FORCED on these celestial beings (beings without what has been called the ‘corruptible flesh’) and the proverbial dye was cast!:
WE did indeed offer the Trust to the heavens and the Earth and the mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid {of the consequences} thereof: but man{kind} undertook it: he {they were} indeed unjust and foolish {and criminal in their overbearing and lord-like behavior as self-willed vicegerents}. Q (33: 72)
Anyway, the important knowledge of what occurred as far as Structured Religion goes is found in the sentence – (Nor did the People of the Book {those calling themselves BELIEVERS} dissent therefrom EXCEPT THROUGH ENVY OF EACH OTHER)…
Religion has many parts to it and its what you make of those parts that can cause problems such as ENVY. In other words, people tend to twist things to their own advantage/desires in order to protect their interests (money, position in the community, power or status). And these CORRUPT individuals will go to any length to remain the major focus, thrust or power in that religious field or philosophy!
The previous article showed this at some length when most of Chapter 23 in Matthew was given whereby Jesus (pbh) was condemning the Jewish Pharisees.
We have two kinds of problems now:
- 1. Putting ONE ELEMENT OF RELIGION ABOVE ANOTHER BY A HODGEPODGE-TYPE OF PICKING AND CHOOSING WHAT IS CENTRAL OR IMPORTANT TO THE FAITH and therefore, declaring MY ELEMENT/ IDEA is bigger, stronger, more important, and even more essential than YOUR ELEMENT (for SALVATION).
- 2. Even IF OUR LEADER (the man responsible for bringing the religious knowledge to a group of people (this man is called a prophet) DECLARED/SHOWED A CERTAIN WAY, WE HAVE A BETTER WAY!
Both number 1 and number 2 show dissent from the ‘one body’ of believers BECAUSE OF A TYPE OF JEALOUS ENVY. This envy may be sparked from a feeling of ‘you think you know more than us about certain things and therefore, you believe that you are superior to us‘?
And some of those people will agree that they are superior to the others. Why? Because they have so-called special knowledge and IN THEIR OWN MINDS AND SIMPLY ANOINT THEMSELVES AS SUPERIOR!
The question is: Did The ONE GOD declare any of those people superior? Did their prophet proclaim it??? Sure, they have a part to play but who made their part into being superior above others save themselves?
The reader will find in my last few articles the build up of the Christ-soul through various scriptural readings THAT MOST PEOPLE WERE NOT AWARE OF BEFORE! However, what does the person do with this information?
Does he take it as greatness for himself or does it just improve his understanding of religion in general? THE IMPORTANT THING IS NOT THE VEHICLE (KNOWLEDGE) BUT WHAT ONE DOES WITH IT THAT COUNTS!
So, to proclaim so-called knowledge as the key to being a better believer is somewhat misleading! The practical doings of what that prophet commanded is THE REAL BASIS OF SUPERIORITY AS PROVEN BY THE CHRIST-SOUL*: ‘I AM HERE TO DO THE WILL OF MY GOD AND NOT MY WILL! AS I HEAR, I OBEY!
{*We pick on the Christ-soul simply because he is the one called upon on the Last Day of Judgment to announce before ALL OF MANKIND whether he was a traitor to his GOD in going his own way by announcing his godliness or whether as a true servant TO ALLAH he dutifully TOLD THE TRUTH IN ALL THINGS ESPECIALLY HIS TOTAL HUMANISM!
“Never said I to them anything except what YOU did command me to say, to wit, ‘worship ALLAH, my LORD and your LORD’ {in the way I am showing you}; and I was a witness over them {as to their beliefs and practices} while I dwelt amongst them; when YOU did raise me up, YOU were the Watcher over them, and YOU are a witness to all things. Quran (5:117)}
To reiterate: if someone wants to exacerbate the problem, then he/she goes off on a tangent by AVOIDING THE DICTATES OF THE CENTRAL IDEA OF WHAT WAS TAUGHT BY THAT PROPHET WHOMEVER HE MAY HAVE BEEN.
So, what was shown through the ‘supernatural verses’ (Mutashabihat verses) or hard to understand concepts shown on this website in my last 10 or so articles using the Book of Hebrews, Isaiah Chapter 53, the Gospel of John, the Quran and certain hadiths, the Dead Sea Scrolls, for example, gave a more ‘fuller and deeper expression’ into the mysteries of certain things.
In other words, it clarified certain sayings or actions and put some type of meanings on them in being harmonious with the spirit of the law. So, one can say that yes, the various religions have been brought into a harmonious line and being shown NOT to be radically different from one to the other.
In the past, however, certain groups/individuals would use this ‘so- called supernatural information or something like it to ‘elevate themselves’ in their own eyes above their fellow believers! This caused dissension, jealousy and the splitting up of the whole into various parts (different sects)! Why?: {AND THIS HAPPENED ONLY} AFTER KNOWLEDGE had come to them.
It is right there in the Quran! Like in nature, the cycle keep repeating itself!
- 1. Now that there has been created ‘THE RIFT’ between groups, we can further increase this rift by going off the rails and start developing our own fanciful designs. A little mix of this and a little mix of that and add a pinch of what appeals to our inner most desires and we have competing sects claiming various truths.
We see this classic example from the Christian group called the Basiladens who kept changing the format for the non-crucifixion of Jesus (pbh) – from the substitution of Jesus by Simon the Cyrenian to Jesus being a phantom figure on the cross.
Gnosis or knowledge used by various groups in the past added to the creation of new and broader religious thought and of course flowing from this came new religious dictates that either didn’t exist in the original teachings of the prophet or existed but was never expressly emphasized by the central teaching figure (that prophet)!
We also see this in the rift between the Sunni and Shia Muslim base.
- 2. The Shia group acknowledge what Prophet Muhammad (pbh) did but sadly they have a belief of going him one better!!! It is almost like saying, “Here is what Muhammad forgot and we are going to develop our theme OVER HIS THEME or expressions/examples!
For example, the time of ‘Ashura’ commemorates the day that ALLAH saved the Children of Israel from Pharaoh.
The Day of ‘Ashura’ , which begins in the month of Muharram on the tenth, can expiate for the sins of the past year through fasting. When the Prophet (pbh) came to Madinah in 622 CE, he found that the Jews fasted on Muharram 10 and asked them the reason for their fasting on this day.
They said,” This is a blessed day. On this day ALLAH saved the Children of Israel from the Egyptian army and so Prophet Moses fasted on this day giving thanks to ALLAH.”
The Prophet (pbh) said, “We are closer to Moses than you are.” So, he fasted on that day and commanded Muslims to fast on this day. (Bukhari). So a reason is given concerning the ‘duties’ practiced on that day due to certain actions of Prophet Muhammad (pbh).
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) had ordered the believers to do as he did and that includes the PURPOSE AND REASONING BEHIND DOING THE ACTION.
Shia Muslims do other than that as their practice is to honor the saintly Husain who fell in battle by treacherous hands done on the orders of misguided followers of the corrupt and inefficient dynasty claiming Sunni Islam.
Do we then throw out the baby with the bathwater if the bathwater is found to be not completely fresh?
Two things can be noted here: Ali, who was the father of Husain, was an outstanding Muslim but Ali’s parents were disbelievers. So, if one has a genetic based idea for worship, this shows that it doesn’t hold any water. This goes towards debunking the magical Mahdi of the Shia whose basis is founded on SPECIFIC hereditary lines.
Secondly, as great as Ali or Husain were, they were no match for the exalted excellence of Muhammad (pbh) the Chosen One! Muhammad (pbh) had lost his infant son Ibrahim shortly after birth. If any hoopla was to occur, it would occur under that death to be thrust in the lime-light and made a practice of devotion. It was most definitely NOT!!!
So, once again one can see ‘strange ‘cult-type’ elements’ poking their ugly heads onto the picture just as the ‘stages of the cross’ have come to celebrate the so-called death of Christ by crucifixion which, it turns out, he was not even crucified.
Fluff, pageantry and a way to control the masses allows the religious experience to become a part of an invented process worked into the pure religion like dirt ground into cloth! So, common sense tells us to put things into their proper perspective.
However, amongst mankind of various races and sexes, there exists a type of ‘circus-like’ atmosphere whereby one returns to their primitive-like state of GLORIFYING SELF through the actions of glorifying another BESIDE THE ONE GOD!**
{**But it is HAPPENED UNTO THEM according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit AGAIN; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the filthy mud {AGAIN}. 2Peter (2:22). When one thinks deeply about it, it becomes an action (written down and recorded of course) as to one GLORIFYING ONE’S SELF}.
There are many other things about the Shia faith that seem odd and out of context with reality. The appeal to latch onto the ghost of Abdullah bin Saba’ in some form (generally a mistrust in most of Muhammad’s Companions) is not a remedy for future success.
Therefore, the lifting of the curtain on bizarre ideas/practices and belief systems will, in the hands of unscrupulous religious leaders, go a long way in polluting the TRUTH!
As to the ease of the Anti-christ’s campaign, when he finally undergoes his transformation from human to ugly human (metamorphosis), that can be explained using the same concept as to that applied to the conquering armies of the Gog and Magog***.
{***Khasf or the Earth being lost/swallowed up and disappearing is represented by the following hadith:
The prophet (pbh) said: “The Hour will not begin until you see ten signs, (including) three events where the earth {gets} swallowed up, one in the East, one in the West, and one in the Arabian Peninsula.” (Muslim)}.
At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. Daniel (11:29)
By using what is found in Daniel (pbh) and the above hadith, it is not difficult to imagine the state of turmoil such things will cause the people!!! Recent devastations caused by only one hurricane on certain Bahamian Islands and the despair and hopelessness it brought with it, show a pattern of civilian collapse.
How much more dreadful certain events will be on a large population when everything that they have come to believe in and cherish is thrown into the well of extinction. This then generates a climate of desperation amongst the people who, in some cases, would sell their own souls for a piece of bread.
This is not an attempt to send fear into the populace but to explain that in real life crisis with a complete institutional collapse the feelings of hopelessness and despair rules the day. It is under these circumstances that the mettle of the human being is tested as to his or her faith.
So, it will come down to the awareness and ability to process the information in the face of lingering death and despair just whose values will be followed and sincerely believed in: REAL FAITH and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ALLAH AND HIS CHOSEN RELIGION OR THE DECEITS PUT FORWARD BY THE EVIL ONE-EYED ANTI-christ.
