We can now look at Isaiah (pbh) Chapter 53. If people can accept prophet Isaiah’s (pbh) work concerning the revelations about Prophet Muhammad (pbh), they should be able to accept that which has been revealed about prophet Jesus (pbh) as to unraveling some of the most misunderstood mysteries behind the words found in chapter 53.

But human nature being what it is, there probably will be a lot of people who will reject this offering due to misunderstanding of true connective and comparative religion as it pertains to a universal point of view!

On one hand, one can’t expect ‘those who dwell not in deep religious thought’ to come to an immediate awareness in a day yet asking people to have an open mind is not above the honest person’s reach.

However, in the final aftermath of what is what and who is who, it is of course put before the ONLY TRUE AUTHORITY to judge this matter and that is ALLAH! With human beings being notoriously ‘peckish in nature’ about their privileged so-called status in ‘revealed religions’, it is doubtful that immediate awareness is obtainable – nor should it be perceived to be as such!

The cemented-in nature of ‘my house and my rules’ is very similar to the pagan Arabs of olden times or even any culture ‘bearing’ the so-called ‘golden way’. That is one of the reasons why misguided people can be led to say, “My sect and not yours.” This is simply based on the sect/religion/creed one usually finds oneself in.

The above concept can be equated, for example, with the great Jew who became Muslim – ‘Abdullah bin Salaam – and his people who lived in Medina at the time of the arrival of the Prophet (pbh). The call to listen to reason and intelligent reasoning at that was sent hurtling to ruin by people who were accustomed to their own peculiar intransigent ways. See the article Prophet Isaiah (pbh) Concerning Islam.

Isaiah Chapter 53:

Who has believed OUR message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
He grew up before HIM {GOD} like a tender shoot and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us {humans} to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him {so he didn’t put on airs as the arrogant ones do}.
He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain {rejection}. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we {the people of means} held him in low esteem.                                                                                                                            Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering {as a helpmate and as a normal human being, although he didn’t have to do this}, yet we considered him {when he had misfortune} punished by GOD, stricken by HIM, and afflicted {by his poverty, simplicity and patience and being under duress}.
But he was pierced {put under duress for a purpose with a grand goal set in mind} for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities {as a representative man for the human race who chose to believe and to take the lead in living righteously}
the punishment {the trials} that brought us peace was on him {so that he had to strive for perfection}, and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way
and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all {as a Test and a Sign to mankind to strive and overcome and believe*}.                                                                                                                                        He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth {he did not complain}; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth {he accepted his trials and tribulations with patient endurance while trusting in his LORD’s PROPHESIED PROMISE}.
By oppression and judgment he was taken away {for he was judged by his resulting actions and was exonerated {by the BEST ONE to exonerate} and declared a man of truth}. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living {not destined to settle down and lead a normal life}; for the transgression of MY people {the believers} he was punished {as a SYMBOLIC sacrifice  NOT requiring blood according to the Epistle of Hebrews}.

{‘for it is NOT possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Therefore when he {the Christ-soul as Jesus the sinless one} came into the world, he said, “Sacrifice and offering YOU {O GOD} would not have, but a {pure} body YOU have prepared for me.

In burnt offerings and {other physical} sacrifices for sin YOU have had no pleasure.

Then said I {Jesus}, ‘Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of me) to do YOUR WILL {Submit to YOUR WILL that I may be ‘straightened‘ for YOUR PLEASURE}, O GOD.’”                                                     Hebrews (10: 4-7)}
He was assigned a GRAVE with the wicked {life among the poor, the needy and the sinners}, and with the rich in his {final} death {buried next to Prophet Muhammad}, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet {in spite of this} it was the LORD’s WILL {part of HIS Most Perfect Plan and ALLAH does not plan things on the spur of the moment as a patchwork- type solution!} to crush him and cause him to suffer {as an example}, and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin {not a blood offering but one of deeds – a trial under fire if he, but with ALLAH’s help, would overcome the world}, he will {then due to his well earned station} see his offspring {given to him} and prolong his days, and the WILL of the LORD will prosper in his hand {in that kingdom given to him of which he will be the leader}.
After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied {by the gifts given him by his LORD}; by his knowledge, MY righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities {Not take away their sins because everyone is responsible for his own sins but in a leadership role as sort of a pathfinder for is not a selfless man not responsible for helping his fellow brother?!!!!! And who is his fellow brother but the one who worships THE ONE GOD in truth and does NOT climb up by another way – Gospel of John}.

{Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that does NOT enter by the door {the pathway of true faith-worhiping only THE ONE GOD while seeking HIS FORGIVENESS and asking for HIS MERCY} into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber {and will be rejected because falsehoods don’t enter Paradise}.   John (10: 1)}
Therefore, {because of this}, I will give him a portion among the great{s} {the archetypes}, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death {through his experiences}, and was numbered {by the foolish, arrogant ones} with the transgressors {worldly losers who think that they are really winners}. For he bore the sin of many {undergoing hardships as a test for his raised authority}, and {thus could make} (made) intercession for the transgressors {O ALLAH forgive them (for sin will never prosper) for they know not what they do as they wrongfully believe that they are in the right way}.

{Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they parted his raiment and cast lots. Luke (23: 34)}

{“If YOU {O ALLAH} do punish them, they are YOUR servants: If YOU forgive them, YOU are THE EXHAULTED IN POWER, THE WISE.

ALLAH will say, “This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath, their Eternal Home: ALLAH well-pleased with them and they with ALLAH: that is THE MIGHTY TRIUMPH (the fulfilment of all desires).                              Q (5: 118-119)}

*It is not as simple and so straight forward as it appears. The reason being, ALLAH WILLING, is that he (Jesus) is both healer and snare at the same time. The ‘come follow me’ or do as I do (New Testament) is the healing but the what you do with your beliefs can be the snare.

To prove this we can now understand the following verse a little better: ‘Don’t think that I have come to bring peace….’ This pertains to the people who ‘twist’ the teachings into falsehoods and try to get into Paradise by another nonprescribed route as well as those who maintain that this worldly life makes the ‘spiritual sense’ of obedience to GOD a waste of time.

{But whosoever shall deny me {my lawful teachings} before men, I will also deny that person before my Father who is in Heaven.

“Don’t think that I am come to send peace on earth. I did NOT come to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to ‘set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.’

And ‘a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.’                          Matthew (10: 33-36)

That ALLAH does NOT require any blood sacrifices or hanging one on a cross is obvious from the Book of Hebrews found in the New Testament as quoted above.}

What was required, however, was a VOLUNTARY laying down of his life (as in life experiences) even after he became whole and complete {for the Prophet (pbh) has stated that many men have become perfect (or reached that state of achieved perfection) but only a few women (for example, Mary the mother of Jesus) has achieved such success – hadith} as Melchezedeck and could have rested until the Day of Judgment.

However, he took upon himself those experiences leading up to the ‘You are my beloved ‘chosen’ one in whom I am well pleased’! part such that he is truly the real Messiah – the Noblest of souls.

So, he, the Messiah, can be looked upon as a soldier who volunteered to go back into the fray to rescue some wounded individuals or as a firefighter who goes back into a burning house to rescue some of the inhabitants.**

**True martyrs are forbidden to do this as ALLAH refuses it, i.e. , return to life again, however, even though they show an eagerness for it, and that knowledge we can find in hadith material.

If people can accept prophet Isaiah’s (pbh) work concerning the revelations about Prophet Muhammad (pbh), they should be able to accept that which has been revealed about prophet Jesus (pbh) as to unraveling some of the mysteries behind these words found in chapter 53.

However, in the final aftermath of what is what and who is who, it is of course put before the ONLY TRUE AUTHORITY to judge this matter and that is ALLAH! And that is the final decision on that score!!!

As for Prophet Muhammad (pbh) only a few things need to be said because only a few things are known concerning this matter so it is dangerous to try and go out on a limb except to quiet the contentious troublemakers.

  • The Gospel of Barnabas is a book containing some truths as well as added fabrications. This then, does not qualify this book to be an authoritative guide. However, when it states ‘Wait Muhammad‘… that is correct as to him staying put until needed or sent into the world whenever that was to be.
  • ALLAH’s statement of ‘and you did not know what REVELATION was before this‘ just tells us that he was not involved in that daily activity of face-to-face spreading of the WORD back-in-the-day. That would seem obvious sense he didn’t know what REVELATION was until it first came upon him in the surrounding area of Makkah.

And thus have WE by OUR COMMAND, sent Inspiration to you: you didn’t know before {this} what Revelation was and what {Reveled} Faith was; but WE have made the (Quran) a Light wherewith WE GUIDE such of OUR servants as WE WILL; and verily you {O Prophet} do guide (men) {and those ‘others’ that listen to this recital in earnest} to the Straight Way.      Q (42: 52)

  • It seems like when all of the prophets finished their work, with the last of the Jewish prophets (Jesus the son of Mary)*** completing the line of perfection, it was time for ‘AND NOW IT IS TIME FOR THE COMPLETED DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH TO BE INTRODUCED BY MY BELOVED AND HIGHLY PRAISEWORTHY ONE – MUHAMMAD’.

***When we see things in this light, parts of the Gospel of John make a lot of sense. We see Jesus (pbh) completing the ‘finality’ of human existence as to coming into the world without sin (being touched by Satan on the placental cord instead of his body) and having no stain whatsoever on his soul.****

Now its time to have another ‘finality’ such that the ‘king’ (leader)of the prophets will come with the PURE BOOK, guaranteed now and forever and with the ‘finality’ of prophethood backed up by all of the prophets behind him acting as one body or one unassailable body of truth.

{Behold! ALLAH took THE COVENANT of the PROPHETS, saying: “I give you a BOOK and WISDOM: then comes to you a Messenger confirming what is with you; do you believe in him and render him help.” ALLAH said: “Do you agree and take this MY COVENANT as binding on you {all}?” They said: “We agree.” HE {ALLAH} said: “Then bear witness and I am with you amongst the witnesses.”                   Q (3: 81)}

****Prophet Muhammad (pbh) didn’t go through the same experiences of the Christ-soul, as no two souls are exactly the same, but he operated on the same level such that he was cleaned of sin and rendered pure by having his chest cut open and his heart washed with pure water; he was a Rasul-type prophet like Jesus was also a Rasul; he performed a myriad of miracles like Jesus did and etc.; he had Companions who were held accountable for spreading the truth and the keeping of such.

{He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine {of what I have -Revelation, Miricles and other proofs, etc.}, and shall show it unto you.    John (16: 14)}

There are other things of course but this is a good foundation to hold to. Above this, however, is the just plain doing and trusting in their ONE LORD but that is where people run into a whole myriad of difficulties.

THE AL-WAJID  – THE PERCEIVER AND THE FINDER WHO CAUSES THINGS TO EXIST AND TO HAPPEN. Coupled together with this sentiment from the Prophet (pbh), ‘if anything good happens to you it is from ALLAH {not your own cleverness} and if something bad happens to you it is from your own self’ {destructive self}.

For ALLAH is THE RECKONER or THE COUNTER, THE AL-MUHSEE, WHO takes account of everything and records it in a BOOK.

“O MY servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who comes upon good, praise ALLAH and let him who comes upon the reverse, blame no one but himself.”   (Muslim)
