Many people sadly do not want an open pathway to seek after the truth. They seem to have an aversion to it actually. This aversion lies directly on their doorstep as they were the ones who actually created it in the first place! Hence, we have the term ‘a fitting recompense for what they used to do’!
That may be hard to believe but what happy, undrugged soul goes out of its way to unabashedly destroy itself? Yet, we see many people who may have 20/20 vision act as if they were really and truly blind!
Hence, the blind offer up blank stares when confronted with the truth or they seek out to subvert the truth while clinging vainly to their own false hopes and creations.
When confronted with reason that would lead to truth, they simply back off from facing any difficulty to their cherished but false hopes/notions in the faulty belief that somehow their lay about deity will, like a jolly Santa Claus, smile down upon their blessed souls as the wonderful and well-cherished and gifted people that they really are or maybe their god-concept will be so desperate for their love and loyalty that ‘HE’ will grant them eternal happiness.
All of this is stuff and nonsense and those people cannot backup their sentiments from scriptural texts!
As to a glimmer of the Power of the ONE GOD in this matter:
…Verily WE have set veils over their hearts so that they understand this NOT and over their ears deafness. If you call them to guidance, even then they will never accept it. Quran (18:57)
With HIM {ALLAH} are the KEYS of the Unseen, the treasures that none knows but HE. HE knows whatever is on the earth and in the sea. NOT A LEAF DOES FALL BUT WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE. THERE IS NOT A GRAIN IN THE DARKNESS (OR DEPTHS) OF THE EARTH, NOR ANYTHING FRESH OR DRY (GREEN OR WITHERED) BUT IS INSCRIBED IN A RECORD CLEAR TO THOSE WHO CAN READ {IT}. Quran (6:59)
WE (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, EVEN AS THEY REFUSED TO BELIEVE IN THIS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE {from before}: WE shall leave them in their trespasses to (stumble blindly) {meandering this way and that}
Even if WE did send unto them angels and the dead did speak unto them, and WE gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are NOT THE ONES TO BELIEVE, UNLESS IT IS IN ALLAH’S PLAN. But most of them ignore (the truth). Quran (6:110-111)
This {confusion of their hearts giving them a muddled brain is} because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: AND ALLAH WILL NOT GUIDE THOSE WHO REJECT FAITH.
Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes ALLAH HAS SEALED UP and they take NO heed. Quran (16:107-108)
But the soul tends to fool itself in its TENDENCIES ONCE IT HAS CHOSEN ITS ARROGANT WAYS TO TRAVEL ON! So, a reminder is given:
“Lest the soul should (then) say: ‘Ah! woe is me!- that I neglected (my duty) towards ALLAH and WAS BUT AMONG THOSE WHO MOCKED!
“Or (lest) it should say: “If only ALLAH had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!
“Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the Chastisement {the punishment it (the careless soul earned)}: ‘If only I had another chance {to change my pattern of behavior}, I should certainly be among those who do good!’
“(The reply will be:) {NO WAY !!!!! because} there came to you {from beforehand} MY SIGNS, and you did REJECT THEM: YOU WERE HAUGHTY {MIGHTILY PROUD} AND BECAME ONE OF THOSE {MARKED OFF} WHO REJECTED FAITH!” Quran (39:56-59)
Of the people there are some who say;”We believe in ALLAH {GOD} and the LAST DAY.” But they do not (really) believe.
Fain would they deceive ALLAH {although they have deceived their fellowman} and those who may {actually} believe, but they only deceive themselves and realize (it) not!
In their hearts is a disease; and ALLAH has INCREASED THEIR DISEASE {DUE TO THEIR INSINCERITY}: and grievous is the chastisement they (will incur), BECAUSE THEY LIED (TO THEMSELVES – {THEY LIED AGAINST THEIR OWN SOULS- their true nature that they were created on!!!}) Quran (2:8-10)
The true nature that ‘they’ (the human race) were created on was the pattern shown by the creation of ADAM. Hence, we collectively ARE LIKE THIS PROTOTYPE IN THAT THERE ARE SOME WHO WILL HAVE SMILING FACES ON THE LAST DAY OF JUDGMENT AND SOME WHOSE FACES WILL BE COVERED WITH SHAME AND SCORN.
Our (particular) ‘adam’ was the ‘man’ who eventually became Jesus (pbh) in his completion AND like this SIGN* as told by the Quran, we (the would be successful ones) follow in this pattern**to be raised up unto Judgment – as in being raised from the dead UNTO ETERNAL LIFE.
{*And (Jesus) shall be a SIGN (for the coming of) THE HOUR (of Judgment): Therefore have no doubt about the (HOUR) but you follow {the Ways and Means that make things straight} ME: this is a Straight Way. Quran (43:61)
This may sound simple and straightforward because it is, at least in one sense. However, books could be written about just this one verse. However, sometimes the simplest of explanations is the easiest.
So, and with Jesus’ coming back (again) the ‘clock’ starts ticking towards the ‘grand settlement of debts‘ that needs to be paid by the swearers who swore a most HOLY OATH to their LORD and CREATOR that they would remain faithful to HIS WAYS until called to account on the Day of Judgment when they will be reconstituted from their collective tailbones!}
{**This basically means ‘NOT by following my will (doing my thing) BUT BY FOLLOWING THE WILL OF GOD SHALL I THEN REAP SUCCESS!}
So, it is in following of this PATTERN THAT ONE CAN SAY THAT he (JESUS) IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. AND EVEN UNTO WHAT TYPE OF CREED ARE YOU (the common man) FOLLOWING ON THE RETURN OF JESUS? THE ANSWER AS IN BEING A REPRESENTATIVE OF SUCCESS IS ISLAM – (KNOWINGLY OR UNKNOWINGLY). SO THAT BECOMES THE PATTERN OR THE WAY!
This concept is expressed in that very difficult verse found in the Gospel of John*** which needs a very deep thought to unlock.
But once understood, it becomes apparent that NO MATTER THE LANGUAGE, NO MATTER THE EXPRESSION, NO MATTER THE CULTURE that the TRUTH OF THE VARIOUS RELIGIONS IS ONE AS GOD IS ONE! Hence, the Harmony, Unity and Oneness of the MESSAGES BROUGHT TO EARTH BY THE VARIOUS MESSENGERS WE CALL PROPHETS.!****
{***Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. John (14:6)}
{****And {the unbelievers} say: “What! Shall we give up our {various, invented god-concepts} for the sake of a poet possessed?”
NO! he {Muhammad} has come with the (very complete) TRUTH and HE CONFIRMS (THE MESSAGE) {PASSED ON FROM THE MESSENGERS OF OLD THAT CAME} BEFORE HIM. Quran (37:36-37)}*****
{*****And this sentiment as expressed about ‘our adam‘ as stated above allows one to properly (hopefully) assimilate the knowledge about the following:
1. Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas, a most excellent companion of the Prophet at a very young age, may have provided a clue as to this ADAM/adam quandary. His dropped hint about such matters actually would allow science and Islam to be in agreement and to show that there is a PROTOTYPE ADAM and other adams also.
{Ibn Abbas ‘supposedly’ said concerning the verse of the 7 heavens and Earths, “If I explain this verse to you, it will {be made to} feel absurd to you. And you will think of it as a lie.” He also was reputed to have said: “How can I be sure that you won’t deny the extraordinary explanation of this verse {if I give it to you?”}
Ibn ‘Abbas was once reportedly asked about the verse Q (65: 12), “It is ALLAH who has created seven heavens and of the Earth, the like of them.” He replied, “Seven Earths: IN EVERY Earth is a prophet like your Prophet, an Adam like your Adam, a Noah like your Noah, an Abraham like your Abraham and a Jesus like your Jesus“… (Al-Durr Al-Manthur in the Tafseer Bil-Ma’thur by Imam Suyuti who adhered to the Sunni- Shafi’i madhhab or school of thought). The soundness or correctness of the above declaration may or may not be in doubt – as ALLAH WILLS.}
2. Why or how Jesus (pbh) was already ‘born’ a high prophet and born with the ability to speak which when compared to the other prophets seems sort of miraculous in nature BUT IN REALITY, WHEN UNDERSTOOD, IS NOT SO MIRACULOUS AT ALL!
3. The explanation of several verses about the people from the ‘paradise on Earth’ AFTER the return of Jesus the Christ (pbh) AND the implimentation of Universal Islam in that: No longer {in this period of blessedness when the kingdom of paradise becomes established on Earth} will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because {at that time} they will ALL KNOW ME {THE ONE GOD}, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD {GOD}. For I WILL FORGIVE THEIR INIQUITIES and will remember their sins no more.” – from Prophet Jeremiah in the Old Testament (31:34); and from the New Testament:
‘And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,
“This is the COVENANT {of the future} that I will make with them {THE BLESSED PEOPLE} after those days, says the LORD {GOD}:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS ON THEIR HEARTS, AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR MINDS,”
then HE adds, “I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS AND THEIR MISDEEDS NO MORE.”
Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin {in the paradise to come}.
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus {technically speaking it would be better to say, “by the blood (his life’s efforts – beliefs/works) of the Christ-soul – see Isaiah Chapter 53},
BY THE NEW AND LIVING WAY WHICH he {the Christ-soul} OPENED {by GOD’s WILL} FOR US THROUGH THE CURTAIN {OF TIME}, THAT IS THROUGH his FLESH{Y TRAVELS AND TRAVAILS, BEING THAT he SERVED MANY TIMES ON EARTH IN his FLESH TO HUMBLE HIMSELF AND TO DO THE WILL OF his GOD – FROM ADAM TO HIS LAST TRIAL AS JESUS – somewhat documented in Isaiah Chapter 53}
and since we {will} have a great priest over the House of GOD {upon his return as a king – meaning Jesus (pbh)},
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water {a NEW BEGINNING in a NEW AGE IN THAT WE SHOULD READY OURSELVES FOR THIS EARTHLY PARADISE}.
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering {BY BEING STRICTLY OBEDIENT TO OUR ONE AND ONLY GOD}, for he {THE CHRIST-SOUL} who {WAS} promised is {WAS} faithful {TO his TRUST PUT ON him BY THE ONE AND ONLY GOD – see Isaiah chapter 53};
and let us consider how to stir up {REMIND AND ENCOURAGE} one another to love and {to do} good works,
not neglecting to meet together {especially in communal prayer}, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and {GIVE OF OURSELVES} all the more as you see the Day {OF JUDGMENT} drawing near.
For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a {our} sacrifice for sins,
but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of FIRE which will consume the adversaries {WHO FIGHT AGAINST THE TRUTH AND REFUSE TO BOW DOWN IN WORSHIP TO THE ONE LORD OF ALL}.’ Hebrews (10:15-27) – From the article with additions and some clarifications, “What Goes Around, Comes Around”

As was said before in one of my articles, one can form a much more ‘unified picture’ of certain sayings found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Quran/hadith materials. That is important because ‘understanding’ DEMYSTIFIES ANY ATTEMPT TO ‘MUDDY THE WATERS’ IN INTRODUCING WRONG CONCEPTS THAT WOULD LEAD PEOPLE ASTRAY.
Wrong concepts, especially when fostered by a corrupt priest-class for the purpose of holding their practitioners to a certain line of worship, is a way to further perpetuate the lies and false practices of said organization.
And the practitioners (the followers who eat this peculiar philosophy up) are basically those who follow that particular rubbish with a sense of happiness. Hence, the ‘revelers’ on both sides of the aisle are actually attracted to each other.
Hence the old and truthful saying that the ‘dog returns to his vomit’ as expressed in the New Testament applies quite truthfully here!!!
Where there should be harmony among the peoples in an atmosphere of truth, there is disunity! So, mankind has to work through these various hurdles to faith if he or she wants to succeed in embracing that oneness!******
{******Mankind was but one nation {in harmony of thought} but differed (later). Had it NOT BEEN for a WORD******* that went forth before from your LORD, their differences would have been settled between them. Quran (10:19)
{*******And in part we can reference this mysterious saying of Jesus (pbh) such that: “Think NOT that I am come to send peace on earth: I came NOT to send peace, but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34) and:
Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! ALLAH gives you glad tidings of a Word from HIM: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the Company of) those nearest to ALLAH.” Quran (3:45)}
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that should {could} be written. John (21:25)
That is Comparative Religion and highlights the value that this great man, for he is only a man, was permitted to do in the service of bowing down his will in acknowledging the ONLY REAL WILL and that is the WILL of GOD. His submission to that WILL showed that ALLAH is truly THE AL-WAKEEL – THE TRUSTEE WHO IS THE BEST DISPOSER OF OUR AFFAIRS. ALLAHU AKBAR!
Great and Glorious is this Word of ALLAH which has no comparison on Earth with it but it does have companions in the testimonials left by Abraham, Moses, Jesus and those given the records to write.
So, ALL PRAISE and GLORY belong to ALLAH by whom there is no other. And all thanks belong to HIM in granting us THAT BOOK we call The Quran by which we are amazed and refreshed each day we open our hearts to it in resigned truth!
…For it (the Quran) is indeed a Message of remembrance.
Therefore, let whose will, keep it in remembrance.
(It is) in Books held (greatly) in honor {on high},
Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy,
(Written) by the hands of scribes –
Honorable and Pious and Just. Quran (80:11-16)
Had WE sent down this Quran on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it Humble itself and cleave asunder for {the} fear of ALLAH. Such are the similitudes which WE propound to men that they may REFLECT. Quran (59:21)
