…ALLAH will raise up in rank those of you who believe and those of you who have been given knowledge and ALLAH is well-acquainted with what you do. Q (58: 11)
The symbols { } are used for better clarification to the text
When a thoughtful Muslim is asked, “What holds the birds up in the air as they are attempting flight?” he will reply that it is ALLAH. When the average person is asked this question, the thing that readily comes to mind is a ‘scientific answer’ about lift, drag and the power and angle of the wings. This is the difference between pretty glass and a beautiful diamond of the same weight and this is a similitude between those who believe versus those who are weak in faith or don’t really have a strong sensible belief.
Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world but the good, righteous deeds that last are better with your LORD for REWARDS and better in respect of HOPE. Q (18: 46)
Verily, WE have made that which is on Earth as an adornment for it in order that WE may test mankind as to which of them are best in deeds.
And verily, WE shall make all that is on the Earth a bare dry place without vegetation or growth. Q (18: 7 and 8)
Deeds, of course, need not mean ‘feats of daring do’ or anything else that is flashy or fancy. One type of good deed is the ‘remembrance of ALLAH’s Names’ and that is good because it ‘holds’ the heart to the line (of reality) and awakens the thoughts to wonders of praise and adoration to our UNIQUE CREATOR LORD.*
About 7 or so years ago, I put in writing that the strongly held belief that mankind’s birthplace was in Africa was wrong. Of course, the scientific community would be 99% against this thought due to their compulsion for ‘the algae, to man’ evolution among other things. However, recently, findings of a near ‘human-type’ of foot impression on the island of Crete of over 5 and a half million years old has changed the ‘status quo’. And things are not going to be so simple anymore with that old theory of theirs.
Muslim commentators can discuss some of the ‘science’ found in the Quran comfortably but of course they would have trouble discussing the fossil evidence for the so-called ‘evolution’ of man and, in a way, they should not be blamed for that. And of course it is not essential for Faith!
The ‘key’ for the opening up of an awareness to the issue of the fossilized record is easy enough, however. As discussed in some of my articles, the notion that man is first and foremost a ‘SPIRIT’ should be of great help in unlocking ‘some’ hard to realize facts concerning the broad topic called ‘mankind’. As I have stated before about mankind in general: mankind has been on this Earth in one form or another for over ten million years.
Man is a willful spirit with much hastiness and contentiousness to boot and that was going to cause trouble for those who desired to test their ‘presence’ instead of patiently waiting upon their LORD. The key to this whole issue is to realize that the spirit can’t do anything physical without a ‘body’. For what good or ‘fun’ is observation when one sees the bodies of plants and animals engaging in so-called life? Truly, haste, especially in this instance, makes waste.
So, we have a miniscule fossil record of sorts telling us that manlike creatures walked this earth in primitive circumstances millions of years ago in a ‘fit’ of trying to develop what was the ideal mold made for them created by their LORD WHOM they could (of course) not see and apparently did not pay much attention to. These fossil records, by the way, are NOT apes or monkeys by themselves (by their own volition) evolving into higher apes or monkeys and then becoming, like magic, MAN!
This is the classic case of ‘you dug the hole and now you are going to fill it in’. Or, you toyed with the perfect creation and now you will pay the price! True, ALLAH forgives much (Quran) but this explains a lot and really one doesn’t have to go beyond this point as it is of little consequence but it does set the record straight.
So, if we have the ‘pure race’ starting off with the first prophet ‘adam’ over 52,000 years ago and continuing a line of pure ‘authorized’ human beings, then we follow this line from adam to Noah, then comes the FLOOD which destroyed a lot of things and then we have the ‘family of Imran’ who came safely out from the flood and down to the present we have us.
As I have stated, there is no need to go any further than this concept just so long as the Muslims don’t run away from the notion that the ‘bones’ of these ancient dwellers are some kind of hoax, unreality or trick of the devil.
In these articles, there has been an explanation, a deeper explanation at that, as far as I know, concerning the ‘proofs’ that Islam and Prophet Muhammad (pbh) are well represented in their (Jews and Christians’ Holy Book). In addition to this, the most extensive knowledge ever given concerning the so-called crucifixion event and the Real Last Supper has also been given. On top of that one can assuredly say that these articles take a deeper, behind the scenes look at some of the so-called hidden meanings found in those testaments.
Some may claim that this opens up the proverbial can of worms. However, the only can of worms I see is the refusal of much of mankind to relate to the possibility that there is only ONE GOD WHO BELONGS TO NO ONE, AND THAT IT IS EXTREMELY SELFISH, SHORTSIGHTEDNESS AND CONTRARY TO SCRIPTURE ITSELF – MEANING IDIOTIC – to try and avoid the ‘INCLUSION PRINCIPLE’, which stands for the idea that all these Abrahamic Faiths (the so-called Judaism, Christianity and Islam) have been TRULY SANCTIONED AND APPROVED BY THE ONE GOD WHEN THEY ARE IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORMAT.
The various scriptures declare that the above is true but man is a contentious beast who, without Grace and Mercy, reverts back to his days of darkness and instability. Try and count the number of ‘ancient and EXTINCT ones’ (Genus and species) who came and went in times gone by.
Furthermore, some people will feel very uncomfortable with many of the conclusions this author has come up with. Not only just the conclusions but also the cross-referencing done to show a ‘deeper understanding’ of the message delivered. That is life!
The problem with the New Testament has a forgotten intermediate step. That step is the ‘offering of effusive praise’. This effusive praise which is akin to pride through a process of osmosis {you are great and because of this, so are we – this weakness happens among all groups who wrongfully identify with the cause or leader of that particular groups’ supposed greatness}, came about through the years from the failure to understand the records written before 100 AC. We can see this ‘interpretation’ happening in the ‘Letters’, especially from the Presbyter John of the New Testament, as complaints are given about some who were ‘of the congregation’ breaking away from ‘among us’ – see the article, “The Most Fantastic, Famous and Glorious Quran”.**
** Of course we don’t have these ‘originals’ with us today. We have only the copies of the copies of the copies with us and they have shown a marked ability to have undergone ‘slight’ rearrangements to put it mildly depending upon one’s ‘school of interpretation’ back then.
Why people do what they do is still a basic mystery. However, the records (Holy Books and wise sayings) have shown man the basic answers from which we can draw substantial conclusions.
Like gravity, peoples’ own dispositions tend to pull them into certain ‘spheres’ of attraction or indoctrination. Resistance to this ‘pull’, while not futile, is difficult to accomplish and only when a truly repentant one turns solely to the REAL LORD OF ALL, then comes the ‘step by step’ drudgery of moving ‘in the LIGHT’. The LIGHT of course is the pathway leading to real salvation.
The real war then is one of the ‘battle of the nefs’ or the internal struggle of the soul versus the outer life force (habits, thoughts, and our way of life). Learning about ‘religion’ is that area called the battlefield. But it has to be mixed with the right temperament or that too becomes a cheat and a deception.
This we can see with people joining certain philosophies or beliefs that are also corrupt but give a ‘great show’ of righteousness as in the phrase ‘our religion’ makes things right. Hence, the dangers thrown up by certain groups like Scientology, witchcraft, ISIS, many Evangelical doctrines, off-beat so-called Islamic sects, etc.
The goal of any ‘true religion’ is SALVATION or the ‘end game’ and wisdom and understanding are the two ‘helpers’ who can hopefully keep the wheels from going off the track. That is why it is important to turn to the ONE GOD for insight and guidance and be inclusive and understanding of the idea that there are different fruits growing at different seasons in the valley.
Salvation is the domain that is completely in GOD’s control and HE doesn’t share that capacity or turn it over to any of the creation. Therefore, with excessive and effusive praise being shifted away from GOD to be put on HIS servant Jesus the Christ (pbh) or other human types, people are led to believe that this Jesus of Nazareth, for example, is more than he really is and can be taken as our champion or ‘good luck’ charm warding off evil.
That is why one often hears amongst those unfortunate groups words like “Praise the lord, praise Jesus, Jesus saved us by his blood, heal us lord, god Jesus”, Mary mother of god, etc., including carrying amulets to ‘ward off evil’ and give good luck, protection or other such nonsense. These unfortunate ones still don’t get it!
We look upon this MAN Jesus as a true and loyal SERVANT of the ONE GOD. A man who by design took upon himself {with GOD’s Permission and Blessing} the necessary job of sacrifice so that he could free mankind {in a time limiting sense as in the coming of the Last Prophet (Muhammad) would not be delayed for an eternity} by being that one who would fulfill the task at hand and therefore finally open the door for Prophet Muhammad (pbh) to come.
For truly, for those who understand: if he did not receive the mantel of Christhood, then the Prophet could not come. And if the Prophet (pbh) did not come, Islam would be incomplete. And if Islam was not completed, then the Last Day of Judgment could not proceed. And if the Last Day of Judgment would not proceed, Salvation as promised by the ONE LORD would not arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means everything is rendered in its ‘proper season’ such that things are placed in the correct order signifying the Most excellent and great PLAN laid down by the CREATOR LORD.
The great dissention between the worshipers of the ONE GOD and those who desired other than that will seem to have come to a head in front of the assembly of men, in part at least, to that one soul who is asked such a poignant question on the Last Day of Judgment.
Because he has been a stalwart unto men from the beginning, his ‘testimony’ will be critical in showing up the liars who manufactured gross lies against the truth and who would put this man into a ‘fantasy creation’ which no doubt is partially responsible for the corruption of truth. Hence, his declaration in front of mankind that he told no such lies either about himself or about the correct way of belief ‘as given in any particular age’.
And behold! ALLAH will say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Did you say to men, ‘Take me and my mother for two gods beside ALLAH’?” He will say: “Glory be to YOU! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, YOU would indeed have known it. YOU know what is in my {own} heart, but I do not know what is in YOUR {HEART}. For YOU know in {complete totality} all that is hidden.
“I never said to them anything EXCEPT WHAT YOU COMMANDED me to say, that is, ‘Worship ALLAH, my LORD and your LORD’: and I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them; when YOU raised me up YOU became the WATCHER over them and YOU are the WITNESS to all things. Q (5: 116-117) – Adapted from the article, “The Walls Are Closing in”
Yes, Jesus (pbh) did rise from the dead! According to wisdom presented in the New Testament, his rising from the dead by definition, which is hard to follow, is the ‘rising from the imperfect world by completing the action of being free or chained to the world as in overcoming the world’. Therefore, his expression of ‘letting the dead bury their dead’ as found in the Gospel of Matthew (8: 22) takes on more sense instead of sounding quirky.
Furthermore, a deeper examination of ‘the underworld’ or under heaven for spiritual beings lends itself to further re-examining the notion of the ‘mystical’ expression of ‘rising from the dead’ or completing one’s journey in that special way the Christ-soul was to undertake. So, according to Acts in the New Testament, Jesus (pbh) rose from the ‘dead’ approximately 40 days after the Last Supper where he proved to his Disciples that were present that he did NOT die nor was he put on the cross!
If one reads the New Testament or any other of the so-called Divine Records as a cheap, dime-store novel, then that (one’s understanding) is what one will get out of it. On the other hand, if a person tries to reflect in earnest about the grandeur of ALLAH’s ‘written word’ with a strong sense of unity, common sense and deep thought, then one should be rewarded with a deeper sense of understanding – ALLAH WILLING.
This fantastic man’s name who has been much misunderstood (in English) is Jesus the son of Mary and that is his ‘completed form’ and he shall be called in THIS WORLD, WHEN HE RETURNS, ‘Isa bin Mariam because we are told to render tribute to that language (Arabic) as it is the format for the basis of the completion of the WAY or Faith. In other words, he is what he has become and it is only right to believe that AS he LEFT SO SHALL he RETURN!
And I {GOD} will put enmity between you {Satan} and the woman and between your seed {family of Jinn} and her seed {offspring-the human race}; it {from out of her seed-offspring} shall bruise your {Satan’s} head and you shall bruise his heel {be an annoyance to him-mankind}. Genesis (3: 15)
Supposedly, this is the verse found in the ‘current’ Old Testament concerning the prophecy about one of adam’s offspring crippling Satan. The act of crippling only means the bringing about what the New Testament explains as to what all the prophets were looking for and that was that a SIGN would be given {in this case the SIGN was the Virgin Birth of Jesus (pbh) and that neither he nor his mother were touched ‘on the Placenta’ at birth by Satan}. Hence, the ‘new beginning’ {like from of old when he was born without stain as adam} if you will or the starting SIGN that mankind would not go on for eternity in this battle between the Satans and mankind ending up with no Last Day of Judgment but that a new paradigm shift will soon (in geological time) begin and that would BE A SIGN FOR THE EVENTUAL OPENING UP OF THE GATES OF PARADISE FOR MANKIND.
One valuable lesson to be learned from this is that no matter how joyous mankind gets, he should keep his head on straight and offer all his praise to the ONE worthy of all Praise and that is GOD. Sure, according to what I have stated in my previous 10 or 12 articles, we should be thankful for the Christ- soul’s dedication to the serving of his LORD – first for his own benefit and then as a help to others (Hebrews (5: 7-8) and (7: 27) but we should NOT lose sight of the fact that ALL HONOR, GLORY AND PRAISE GOES TO ALLAH – THE RIGHTFUL SOVERIGN AND ONLY REALITY AND KING.
In the era of Noah (pbh) there were some good men who were looked up to by the peoples. Later on, Satan got the peoples to build statues of these men and later on people started to worship them as if they were GOD’s special helpers and then later on they were turned into gods themselves. This is what happens when effusive praise is heaped on to others besides the ONE TRUE GOD.
The problem encountered by those who try and refute Islam occurs when through their ignorance of planned stubbornness, they will take only part of their testaments and with much fanfare and utter lack of true knowledge they misrepresent the true facts. For example, the Christians tend to isolate areas that seem to suggest that Jesus (pbh) is the only chosen one due to the true fact that his line was blessed by the ONE GOD over Ishmael’s line. However, ‘in what sense is that really supposed to be taken?’
It is TRUE that through Isaac (pbh), NOT Ishmael (pbh) as the New Testament declares that the PROMEISE WILL COME. But what does that really mean? It means quite differently than what they say it means!!!!
Basically, THE PROMISE that the prophets of old talked about and let the people expect was THE SIGN to mankind that a prophet would be born who (according to Isaiah chapter 53 and the travails undergone by a certain individual (DEAD SEA SCROLLS) had hardship put on him and that he would win out and be that ‘CHOSEN ONE’ (as a SIGN signifying) that that person has ‘overcome’ the world (born without sin and remained sinless – both he and his mother) so that person becomes the figure long looked for and called the ‘true Messiah’. Prophet Muhammad (pbh) is not, nor ever pretended to be, the Messiah. That wasn’t his job!!!!!
And WE made the son of Mary and his mother as a SIGN: WE gave them both shelter on high ground affording rest and security and furnished with springs. Q (23: 50)
Those who don’t believe in the Signs of ALLAh, ALLAH will NOT guide them and theirs will be a grievous penalty. Q (16: 104)
Furthermore, the ‘true’ Messiah will come back from the heavens and rule for a certain period on the Earth gathering the BELIEVERS and with the help of his angels (New Testament) taking the disbelievers to a harsh task.
If one ignores the ‘rest of the Bible’ be he a Christian or a Jew or is ignorant*** about the truth in Islam, then the chance for arrogant and foolish misbelief grows exponentially. Let us take Prophet Isaiah’s (pbh) Chapter 42. This chapter has a lot of information concerning the Prophet to the Gentiles (Muhammad pbh). So with true understanding and true comprehension and true cross-referencing and without false pride and arrogance, people might be able to put Jesus the son of Mary (pbh) into a proper and truthful perspective!
This ‘conquering of the world’ (born and lived without sin) is the springboard for the entrance of the Spirit of truth (Muhammad pbh) which in accordance with the Old Testament will bring that ‘New Law’ {Shiloh – Genesis 49: 10} for the inheritance of Paradise. In other words:
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam {the Unity of the GODHEAD as GOD is ONE without partners having no sons, daughters or any equals while accepting all of HIS Messengers}, it WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND IN THE HEREAFTER HE WILL BE ONE OF THE LOSERS. Q (3: 85)
Once again, the majority of men want it their way not GOD’s WAY. So, the result will always be the loss for mankind as to his irresponsible act of ‘breaking trust’ with the DIVINE!
And (remember) when your LORD brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed and made them testify to themselves (saying): “Am I not your LORD?” They answered, “Yes! We do so testify to this,” {this being done} lest you (O mankind) should say on the Day of Resurrection, “Verily, we have no recollection of this.”
Or lest you should say, “It was only our fathers aforetime who took others as partners in worship along with ALLAH, and we were (merely their) offspring {coming} after them; will YOU then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practice {crimes against ALLAH} Q (7: 172-173)
***Speaking of ignorance, Genesis 6:12 has a very unflattering verse concerning the Arabs which was meant to give off the idea of those people who remained either outside the pale of an acceptable Abrahamic religious philosophy (pagans) or who have been born into a ‘blessed faith’ but are not responsive (i.e. they are ignorant) to it as to their knowledge or actions. Such people would be called nominal ‘believers’ at best and that is looking at it to the point of incredible credulity.
Abu Hurairah said, “The Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) said: “Islam began as something strange and will return {in the end} to being strange as it began. Therefore, give glad tidings to the strangers.” (Muslim)
There are various meanings to this hadith but a sound meaning follows based on various other hadiths used in cross-referencing this topic. Islam started out in very strange surroundings. The surroundings were strange in that the REAL TRUTH was just about nowhere to be found in its completeness. The other religions were corrupted and Islam was starting off amongst mostly pagans. After only a few years, there were less than 10 official converts to the whole religion of Islam.
Soon, however, Islam started to gain the upper hand very slowly at first then in virtual torrents the faith came. The faith spread rapidly to strange lands that didn’t have Arabs but people after certain decades began to quibble and squabble. Much later there was a flowering or Renaissance in science and other things but enjoyment for the good life weakened the people in being ‘Firm on the Straight Path’ to such an extent that the worldly peoples who were better at the worldly game conquered many of the so-called Islamic lands in the following centuries.
Following this, the people and their governments marched to the tune of ‘catch up’ with the worldly systems to the extent that Islamic countries are mostly ‘strong in talk but weak in action’ and much, too much divided. The world doesn’t want it any other way because they fear the Islamic heart.
But out of the laxness, comes the shrinking but stable Muslim belief that they will not be abandoned by ALLAH but will, with patience and as prophesied, rally around a small band of believers who will come and, aided by ALLAH, will conquer in truth, justice and righteousness based on the willingness to believe in the ONE GOD and HIS Prophet (pbh) when the world is set in unbelievable turmoil and strangers, as such, will enter the fold of Islam.
We are now approaching the ‘flimsy’ era of foggy headedness – For example, note the Tunisian government’s thinking by allowing Muslim women, by law, the freedom to marry any person with any belief or non-belief. In some circles it is called freedom in other circles it is called blatant licentiousness.
Such flagrant disregard for Islam and other actions to follow will be couched in sweet words full of guile. The reader is advised to try and understand the several hadiths concerning this point from one of Prophet Muhammad’s Companions noted for expressing an interest in the times leading up to the Last Days. His name is Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman and he was known to ask Muhammad (pbh) about these ‘dark times’. Only those hadiths found in Bukhari or Muslim, however, can be trusted as others may attempt to appropriate his name in fomenting mischief as in a sectarian divide.
Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman: The people used to ask ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh) about good, but I used to ask him about evil for fear that it might overtake me. Once I said, “O ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh)! We were in ignorance and in evil and ALLAH has bestowed upon us the present good; will there be any evil after this good?” He said, “Yes.” I asked, “Will there be good after that evil?” He said, “Yes, but it would be tainted with Dakhan (i.e. a little evil).” I asked, “What will its Dakhan be?” He said, “There will be some people who will lead (people) according to principles other than my tradition {Sunnah}. You will see their actions and disapprove of them.” {You will see good points as well as bad points therein – Sahih Muslim} {(Causing the mind to be confused – my interpretation)} I said, “Will there be any evil after that good?” He said, “Yes, there will be some people who will invite others to the doors of Hell, and whoever accepts their invitation to it will be thrown in it (by them).” I said, “O ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh)! Describe those people to us.” He said, “They will belong to us and speak our language” I asked, “What do you order me to do if such a thing should take place in my life?” He said, “Adhere to the group of Muslims {i.e. stick to the main body of Muslims {not minor sects} and their Leader.” I asked, “If there is neither a group (of Muslims) nor a leader (what shall I do)?” He said, “Keep away from all those different sects {or factions}, even if you had to bite (i.e. eat) the root of a tree, till you meet ALLAH while you are still in that state.” (Bukhari with very minor adaptions from Muslim)
ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh) related to us, two prophetic narrations one of which I have seen fulfilled and I am waiting for the fulfillment of the other. The Prophet (pbh) told us that the virtue of honesty descended in the roots of men’s hearts (from ALLAH) and then they learned it from the Qur’an and then they learned it from the Sunnah (the Prophet’s traditions). The Prophet (pbh) further told us how that honesty will be taken away: He said: “Man will go to sleep during which honesty will be taken away from his heart and only its trace will remain in his heart like the trace of a dark spot; then man will go to sleep, during which honesty will decrease further still, so that its trace will resemble the trace of a blister as when an ember is dropped on one’s foot which would make it swell, and one would see it swollen but there would be nothing inside. People would be carrying out their trade but hardly will there be a trustworthy person. It will be said, ‘in such-and-such tribe there is an honest man,’ and later it will be said about some man, ‘What a wise, polite and strong man he is!’ Though he will not have faith equal even to a mustard seed in his heart.” No doubt, there came upon me a time when I did not mind dealing (bargaining) with anyone of you, for if he was a Muslim his Islam would compel him to pay me what is due to me, and if he was a Christian, the Muslim official would compel him to pay me what is due to me, but today I do not deal except with such-and-such person. (Bukhari)
Narrated Usaid bin Hudair: A man came to the Prophet (pbh) and said, “O ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh)! You appointed such-and-such person and you did not appoint me?” The Prophet (pbh) said, “After me you will see rulers not giving you your right (but you should give them their right) and be patient till you meet me.” (Bukhari)
The Most Beautiful Names of ALLAH
The Greatest Name for ALLAH or HIS Most Glorious Name (Al-Ism Al-‘Azam), by which if HE is called will grant one’s request, is said to be a combination of several names. The scholars of the highest knowledge and eminence are not in agreement about which name or combination of names for ALLAH is THAT ONE which could be called ‘The Greatest Name’ for ALLAH. It could be HIS related names strung together, or a blend of different names that are complementary or even the phrasal names of AL-HAYYU AL-QAYYUM. Whatever the case may be, knowing and practicing HIS GLORIOUS NAMES is a great way to let Islam enter the heart.
All the Names of ALLAH are very important because HE has proclaimed that HE is WHO you think of HIM – “I am who you think of ME”. Names that are underlined have been said to have great importance due to their use in prayer or supplications which, of course, all of these names can be used in various supplications.
The Prophet (pbh) said that ALLAH The Most High said, “I am as my servant thinks I am. I am with him when he mentions ME. If he mentions ME to himself, I mention him to MYSELF; and if he mentions ME in an assembly, I mention him in a greater assembly than it. If he draws near ME to a hand’s length, I draw near to him an arm’s length and if he comes to ME walking, I go to him running. (Bukhari)

O ALLAH, LORD of the seven heavens, the earth and of everything else, YOU are the splitter of the grains and the date stones and the SENDER of the Torah, the Injeel and the Quran, I take refuge with YOU from the evil of every evil being that YOU take by the forelock. YOU are the FIRST so there is nothing before YOU; and YOU are the LAST, so there is nothing after YOU; YOU are the VICTOR, so there is nothing beyond YOU. Pay my debts for me and guard me against poverty. (Muslim)
Therefore, Exalted be ALLAH the Only True King. There is no god but HE, The LORD of The Noble Throne or (The Throne of Honor). Q (23: 116)
