Prophet Isaiah’s (pbh) name in Arabic is أشعياء – Asheeʻyā’ and although he is not mentioned in the Quran or hadiths, his ‘testimonials’ to Jesus the Christ-soul and Muhammad the bringer of truth and the ‘Pure Testament’, the Glorious Quran, loom quite large on the Comparative Religious sceen and may be of great help to those wishing to understand truth from yet another angle.
A deeper look inside of ‘religion’ can be daunting to those who are afraid of what might be revealed. Basically, many people will show that they don’t want the truth because they are comfortable with their own preconceived lifestyles or beliefs.
Comparative Religion can enhance the knowledge and understanding of our significant souls as well as being a helpmate in building bridges. And like anything else, it can be used to sow seeds of dissension, hatred and mistrust.
So, Comparative Religion is like anything else on this planet; it can be a positive force or a negative force. And like a gun, it can be used to hurt or to protect. If used wisely and put into a framework which can be understood, then religion is a positive force for human advancement.
So, this website, without pulling too many punches, offers a more ‘unified’ thinking about the ‘records’ than just merely pandering to a regional or national ‘god-force’ who being the GOD is our GOD and not their GOD.
The following website* will allow both Muslims and non-Muslims to see how, if religion is studied carefully, the concept of ‘true faith’ will be easier to understand. This is especially true in our often hecticly paced world where truth is often under attack from many sources.
If one values it, he goes for it (takes the time and earnest behavior to find out about it) but if it becomes a toy or play thing, it will gain no traction in the human heart and will soon be forgotten.

“…The news that Allah’s Prophet had come circulated in Medina. The {Arab non-Jewish} people came out and were eagerly looking and saying “Allah’s Prophet has come! Allah’s Prophet has come!” So the Prophet went on till he alighted near the house of Abu Aiyub. While the Prophet was speaking with the family members of Abu Aiyub, ‘Abdullah bin Salaam {the most learned Jew in Medina} heard the news of his arrival while he himself was picking the dates for his family from his family garden. He hurried to the Prophet carrying the dates which he had collected for his family from the garden. He listened to Allah’s Prophet and then went home.
Then Allah’s Prophet said, “Which is the nearest of the houses of our Kith and kin?” Abu Aiyub replied, “Mine, O Allah’s Prophet! This is my house and this is my gate.” The Prophet said, “Go and prepare a place for our midday rest.” Abu Aiyub said, “Get up (both of you) with Allah’s Blessings.” So when Allah’s Prophet went into the house, ‘Abdullah bin Salaam came and said “I testify that you (i.e. Muhammad) are {the} Apostle of Allah and that you have come with the Truth. The {Arabic speaking} Jews know well that I am their chief and the son of their chief and the most learned amongst them and the son of the most learned amongst them. So send for them (i.e. Jews) and ask them about me before they know that I have embraced Islam, for if they know that they will say about me things which are not correct.” So Allah’s Apostle sent for them, and they came and entered. Allah’s Apostle said to them, “O ({to}the group of) Jews! Woe to you: be afraid of Allah. By Allah except Whom none has the right to be worshipped, you people know for certain, that I am {the} Apostle of Allah and that I have come to you with the Truth, so embrace Islam.” The Jews replied, “We do not know this.” So they said this to the Prophet and he repeated it thrice. Then he said, “What sort of a man is ‘Abdullah bin Salaam amongst you?” They said, “He is our chief and the son of our chief and the most learned man, and the son of the most learned amongst us.” He said, “What would you think if he should embrace Islam?” They said, “Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam.” He said, ” What would you think if he should embrace Islam?” They said, “Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam.” He said, “What would you think if he should embrace Islam?” They said, “Allah forbid! He can not embrace Islam.” He said, “O Ibn Salaam! Come out to them.” He came out and said, “O ({to} the group of) Jews! Be afraid of Allah except Whom none has the right to be worshipped. You know for certain that he is Apostle of Allah and that he has brought a True Religion!’ They said, “You tell a lie.” On that Allah’s Apostle turned them out.” from Bukhari Kitab Manaqib al-Ansaar (Merits of the Helpers in Madinah), Chapter 45 (The emigration of the Prophet and his Companions to Al-Madina)
So if Abdullah bin Salaam {the most knowledgeable of the Jews in Medina} did let the Muslims know of a prophecy or some prophecies from the Torah {Old Testament} fulfilled in the person of Prophet Muhammad (sws {pbh}), it carries a lot of significance.
Now what does Isaiah {chapter} 42 say after all? Let us deal with each verse and see their echo is {which can be found in various hadiths relating to the different characteristics of the Prophet (pbh)} the ahadith quoted above from Ata ibn Yasar**. by Mushafiq Sultan
**from Bukhari Kitab Manaqib al-Ansaar (Merits of the Helpers in Madinah), Chapter 45 (The emigration of the Prophet and his Companions to Al-Madina).
Who receives guidance receives it for his own benefit: who goes astray does so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: Q (17: 15)
The above verse from the Quran shows that although the Christ-soul was made an offering for sin as Isaiah (pbh) declares that was meant as a special Sign*** and has nothing to do with the forgiveness of sins as some people falsely claim. Jesus (pbh) does not take away sins unto judgment.
***As to the Christ-soul, who is the noblest of souls, we know as Jesus (pbh), he showed the way by his long journey: (‘Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; He has put him to grief’ Isaiah (53: 10)) to be a SYMBOL or SIGN of a behavior pattern that would merit salvation. SALVATION: Here then is the ROAD which all successful ones must travel: NOT IN KIND (THE EXACT SAME IN QUALITY) BUT IN SPIRIT OF SUCH.
The road as from the beginning****as was mapped out by that soul under the auspices of his LORD, the ONE and ONLY TRUE GOD.
****Now to HIM {the ONE GOD} WHO IS ABLE to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished {without sin through HIS GRACE and MERCY} in HIS Glorious Presence, with great joy—
to the ONLY GOD OUR SAVIOR be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, through {HIS servant} Jesus Christ our Lord {AS OUR TEACHER}, before all time*****, and now, {currently in this age} and for all eternity. Amen.… Jude (1: 24-25)
These epistolic verses from the New Testament by Jude, who was a presbyter or a follower of the original Disciples, expresses early on the ‘feeling’ of the importance of the ancient Christ-soul and, most importantly, the idea of worshiping and valuing the notion that there is but ONE GOD ONLY.
It is also important to note that one can get a feel for what went wrong with the teachings of Jesus (pbh) at a later date. These New Testament Epistles are JUST ABRIDGED NOTES ACTING AS A REMINDER TO OTHER TEACHERS OF THE FLOCK WHO WERE UNDER THE PRESBYTER AND WHO WERE TAUGHT MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN WAS GIVEN OUT TO THE REGULAR WORSHIPERS.
We see the same today in the various religions as to the ‘educational structure’ between the very learned, the learned, the practitioner and the lay person.
*****Hence, the declaration of THAT WAY (True Religion) {refreshed, renewed and made complete by Prophet Muhammad (pbh)}:
Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through {my pattern as chief architect and my GOD as THE BUILDER} me. John (14: 6) – This means that the ‘PATTERN’ was set in him like a symbol or SIGN.******
****** Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that does NOT enter by the door {the pathway of true faith-worhiping only THE ONE GOD while seeking HIS FORGIVENESS and asking for HIS MERCY} into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber {and will be rejected because falsehoods don’t enter Paradise}. John (10: 1)
Though he were a son {as being of the chosen group (prophets) to be sent to inspire the souls of men to obedience to their LORD/to bring the souls back to remembrance}, yet he LEARNED OBEDIENCE by the things which he suffered;
And {after his trials} being made perfect {born free of sin and kept free of sin by his GOD’s WILL} , he became the author {THAT BENEFACTOR*******} of eternal salvation unto all them who obey HIM {THE ONE GOD whom Jesus faithfully served}. Heb. (5: 8-9)
*******The similitude of Jesus before ALLAH is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was. Q (3: 59).
And of course his creation included: (1) excellence, (2) the fall and (3) the return to HIS LORD’s GRACE. And look at us humans being born with (1) FITRA and (2) not being perfect but (3) with the happy chance of OUR LORD’s FORGIVENESS and GRACE as adam was blessed with this.
And that blessed human had trials and we also have trials******** so it is said that Jesus (pbh) is our elder brother or one who came before to enhance our life as our Teacher of Righteousness – historical- wise that is! And why would not great honor be put on him by his LORD for such sacrafices?!!!
********WE did indeed offer the Trust to the heavens and the Earth and the mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man{kind} undertook it: he {they were} indeed unjust and foolish {in their lord-like behavior as vicegerents}. Q (33: 72)
HE {ALLAH} it is Who made you {human beings} vicegerents in the earth. Now, whoever disbelieves {after your lordships have been established in the earth} shall himself {alone} bear the burden of disbelief … Q (35: 39)
One does not have to know the finer points of anything to receive salvation. So, why religion?
As moths are attracted to the flame, people, who are covered from THE REALITY, as all are to varying degrees, must be brought back to reality to find salvation. Reality here is just a way of saying ‘REMEMBRANCE‘.
And NO ONE CAN DO THAT BETTER THAN THE ONE GOD WHO PUT ON HIS SHOULDERS THE GUARANTEE OF THIS. HE SHALL NOT FAIL IN HIS DUTIES {the job HE set for HIMSELF} ALTHOUGH WE AS HUMANS FAIL QUITE A BIT IN OUR DUTIES.
The proof of ALLAH’s INVINCIBILITY comes from the knowledge that HE has taken out the ‘well-meaning souls’ and guaranteed their happy final destination as long as they keep HIM IN REMEMBRANCE.*********
*********It is recorded in al-Muwatta li al-Imam Malik, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan an-Nasa`i, Sunan at-Tirmidhi and Musnad al-Imam Ahmad that Prophet Muhammad (pbh) said:
“ALLAH Almighty first created Adam (pbh), then HE placed HIS hand upon Adam’s back, and drew forth all the righteous descendants of Adam who were to come into being and said, “I have created them for the Paradise, and they shall act righteously as to deserve Paradise. Then HE placed HIS hand on the back of Adam and all the wicked descendants that were to come into being appeared. HE said, “I have created them for the Hell, and they shall act wickedly as to lead them to Hell.”
As for the people who are marked for that Paradise thing:
Yea, BEFORE the day was {created}, I am HE {THE ONE AND ONLY GOD}, and there is none that can deliver out of MY hand; I will work {I have made a PLAN that covers all possible contingencies}, and who shall {has the strength to} turn it back?”{that is, who can overrule MY WILL} Isaiah (43: 13)
Only THE ONE GOD is the SAVIOR. And HE has shown that WHEN HE marks a person for that pathway of salvation, there is none who can take that ‘soul’ out of HIS hand!*********
*********He {Satan} said, “Do you see? This is the one (Adam) who YOU have honored above me! If YOU will but give me respite to the Day of Judgment, I will surely bring his descendants under my sway-all but a few!
(ALLAH) said: “Go your way; if any of them follow you verily Hell will be the recompense of you (all)- an ample recompense.
And arouse those whom you can among them with your (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with your cavalry and your infantry {followers}; mutually share with them wealth and children and make promises to them.” But Satan promises them nothing but deceit!
“As for MY servants, NO authority will you have over them:” ENOUGH IS YOUR LORD FOR A DISPOSER OF AFFAIRS! Q (17: 62-65)
And wherever these souls may be, HE will call them out from (darkness to light, or any place or any country) and collect them (the BELIEVERS – which in the Jewish Book is referenced by the words ‘Holy Israel’ – meaning ANY PERSON OF ANY FAITH WHO ACKNOWLEDGES AND BELIEVES AND FOLLOWS THE ONE GOD AND ALL OF HIS TRUE PROPHETS IN THE MANNER OF PRESCRIBED DEVOTIONS – to the best of his ability).
And also like him (Jesus) that which is protected WILL BE PROTECTED:
Then the devil took him (Jesus) up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and
said unto him, “If you be the son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written: ‘HE {GOD} shall give HIS angels charge concerning you; {in order to protect you against sin so that you will be given that honor of being that ‘chosen one’} and {so} in their hands they shall bear you up {protect and watch over you}, lest at any time you {would} dash your foot against a stone {fall from the Pathway and become lost}.
{However} Jesus said unto him {Satan}, “It is written again: ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’” Matthew (4: 5-7)
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him {through trials}; HE has put him to grief {and tested his ‘staying power’ or to put it another way his FAITHFULNESS}**********. When YOU {O ALLAH} shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed {the faithful for in this ‘adam’ (Jesus), all that were to be saved found salvation as promised to those who would follow the truth***********}, He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand {in that kingdom (paradise on Earth) given to him and the Faithful}. Isaiah (53: 10)
**********All of these things AS IN A PATTERN , THOSE WHO FIND SALVATION, have in common with that excellent human being Jesus the son of Mary (pbh).
***********And ALL that were MARKED for SALVATION as stated in the well recorded hadith listed above, even after an infinite number of problems that could go wrong, the ABILITY OF ALLAH IS AND REMAINS WITHOUT PRECEDENCE IN SHEER UNMATCHED ABILITY AND UNIQUENESS!
Yet it is true that:
And as it is appointed unto men to die once, but after this the Judgment Heb (9: 27).
So mankind is given a ‘term of appointment’ to live out and after that appointed term (for however long it may be) is completed, then the rest and the Resurrection unto Judgment. To be sure, however, what is not in the control of one’s hands, people should not worry about it. Is not ALLAH enough as an EXCELLENT DISPOSER OF OUR AFFAIRS!!!!!
Hopefully, this explains a little bit more concerning this topic. Always, mysteries will abound but mysteries don’t bring people into Paradise! The worshiping of the ONE GOD in truth does and that occurs only by HIS COMMAND!!!!!
