GOD is THE GOD of TRUTH! One of HIS NAMES is AL-HAQQ which means THE MOST TRUE ONE OR simply THE TRUTH. GOD does not have a named religion for a name. Therefore, GOD is higher than any named religion.
All religions have encountered Earthly decay and corruption by being divided into various opposing sects with many of them being petty, spinoffs of the original teachings of its founder. A Heaven that is surrounded by angels is pure while the Earth is corruptible.
What could a Muslim say to a Jew or a Christian even if they don’t believe in Islam? Simply what is referenced in Quran (3:84) to the extent that if you desire to find the truth or discuss the implications of the truth, THEN GO READ YOUR OWN HOLY BOOKS WITH UNDERSTANDING FOR THEY ARE THEY THAT TESTIFY ABOUT ISLAM!!!
Say {Oh men of truth}: “We believe in ALLAH, and in what has been revealed to us {Muslims} and what was revealed to ABRAHAM, Isma’il {Ishmael}, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their LORD: We make no distinction between one and another among them {prophets as to one being more truthful than the other}, and to ALLAH do we bow our will (as in Islam).” Q (3:84)
Many, many decades ago when I was introduced to Islam via the Quran, I wanted to find out more about this ‘straightforward’ religion that touched my inner soul. Things come due in their own season such that the summer vegetables grow in the summer and not in the dead of winter.
Anyway, like a ‘new convert’ I wanted to read about this religion. So, I ordered some books from Pakistni publishers, written in English of course. I remember reading their Comparative Religious take on things.
So, on one page they would mention Paul where he easily conformed to ‘their concepts’ of truth and on another page he was branded a scoundrel and a grave liar. That got me curious.
A further example of such possible disconnect occurred when I read from these books an explanation of a certain verse in the Quran saying that ‘this is proof that man will NEVER be able to land on the Moon’. I read this in 1971 from a book probably printed in the late 1930s or 40s and obviously, this so-called ‘knowledge’ was wrong!
We, as humans, all make mistakes. It is important, however, to seek our ‘relevancy’ to this belief pattern that we find ourselves in for the purpose of our hearts to be unified with the truth.
For of surety, in TRUTH, which is higher than any known religion, we will find true SALVATION – if acted upon accordingly!!! That is the dynamics of true faith!
Flapping the tongue or praying for show or worshiping false dogmas and or loving the self over TRUTH is the epitome of falseness. Things generally do not come into fruition overnight so hard work and study are essential to bring more ‘light’ into the darkness that blunts the recesses of our minds.
So, as a vicegerent, be TRUE to thine self or to thine self be TRUE. Which eventually people are as they cruise down the highway of life, offering the fulfillment of great joy or damnation.
Why did I refer to the Christ-soul as the Representative man or SIGN to mankind? The answer is that he ‘had to grow within himself‘ as (WE ALL DO) in stages. His life and times mirrors that of the classification of being only a human being. Elevated in stature of course, but he is still and remains that SUCCESSFUL HUMAN SHOWCASE.
So, he was chosen to lead the way by GOD’s WILL and this ‘way’ evolved into what the New Testament calls THE WAY or that way adopted by Jesus, the last of the Jewish prophets. His reward for the completion of ‘his trials‘ is to be LEADER OF THE FAITHFUL IN THE RELIGION OF ISLAM WHETHER THE OTHER PEOPLES LIKE IT OR NOT!
The RELIGION in front of ALLAH (GOD) is Islam (submission to HIS WAY): NOR did the People of the BOOK dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, {only} AFTER KNOWLEDGE HAD COME TO THEM but if any deny the SIGNS of ALLAH, ALLAH is swift in calling to account. Q (3: 19)
The Messiah, or that title granted unto him when he successfully completed the task given to him, takes the mantel of leadership of the believing peoples and the ‘chosen RELIGION‘ (Islam), the chosen TEXT (Quran) of that religion and also the chosen way of life or SUNNA of the practices of Prophet Muhammad (pbh). And that should show one just how important Muhammad (pbh) is as that special envoy from THE ONE GOD.
Hard it is, therefore, for people WHO ARE HARDWIRED INTO ANOTHER PHILOSOPHY OR RELIGION to acknowledge THAT WAY! So, then it becomes obvious that ‘others’ may still ‘lust for’ or hanker back to the comfort of their own beliefs.
Such was the lesson of Abraham’s people when they knew their stone idols were only stone and could not speak as to who smashed them. But to idol worshipers, their false traditions were a valued way of life which they were at ease with and felt very uncomfortable to change.
This may sound bullyish but people are NOT in charge of this – GOD IS!!! So a person needs to go to his GOD and seek to be a better, more responsive and truthful individual.
This is for the time period before Jesus (pbh) returns. Remember, he does GOD’s WILL not the will of scoundrels! And so by a careful study of the facts, one can get a good idea of what the following means when other pertinent facts are added into the equation:
Abdullah b Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) addressed us and then supported his back (by reclining) against a leather tent and said: Behold, no one but a believing person would enter Paradise. Oh! ALLAH, have I conveyed {the message or not?} 0h! ALLAH, be witness (to it that I have conveyed it). Then while addressing the Companions, he said: ‘Don’t you like that you should constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise?’ We said: ‘Yes, Messenger of ALLAH’. He again said: ‘Don’t you like that you should constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise?’ They said: ‘Yes, Messenger of ALLAH’. He said: ‘I hope that you would constitute one- half of the inhabitants of Paradise and you would be among the peoples of the world, like a black hair on (the body of) a white ox or like a white hair on the body of a black ox. (Muslim)
The human race has been around a very long time which of course we know next to nothing about. The saying of the Prophet (pbh) that many men have been perfect may give us a clue to that effect. I have no personal need to go further into those events, however, except to say that it encapsulates those who find salvation in this closing AGE under the auspices of Jesus the son of Mary (pbh) the true Messiah.
Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari: ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh) said, “Many amongst men {have} attained perfection but amongst women none attained the perfection except Maryam (Mary the mother of Jesus), the daughter of ‘Imran, and Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh. And the superiority of Aishah to other women is like the superiority of Tharid (i.e., an Arabic dish) to other meals.” (Bukhari)
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee will come forth unto ME he that is to be {a future} ruler in Israel, whose goings forth {travels/soul experiences/incarnations} have been from ancient times.” Micah (5: 2)
The evidence that the Messiah-soul is very old is strong. Note that this denotes that there was a time when his soul did not exist such that he is a created being.
GOD, on the other hand, existed BEFORE HIS creation of time and hence, cannot be said to be ancient! Therefore, it is said that GOD is ETERNAL which goes beyond any age such as being ancient.
It is unfortunate to see all of these rag-tag discussions concerning Paul found on the internet. Especially, when the foxes lie in wait for their pray – usually a well-meaning Muslim but not comprehensive about Paul.
Paul visited Jerusalem several times and didn’t find much contradictions between himself and the original Disciples. After his death, the surviving presbyters did not seem to disparage him in any ‘clear’ way. However, his words become a ‘trap’ to those who find some form of titillation in ‘Greek’ ways.
The ‘balanced warnings‘ about Paul and those who would twist certain knowledge around to their villainous advantage has been recorded in the New Testament. A sample of Paul’s overly (but not wrong) complex way of thinking follows:
‘Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Has not GOD made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For since, in the wisdom of GOD, the world by wisdom {showing its wisdom} didn’t {even know} GOD, {SO} it pleased GOD by the foolishness {AS IT SO OFTEN SEEMS BY THOSE WHO LIVE BUT ARE DEAD} of preaching to save {BRING BACK TO REMEMBRANCE} those who {made claim to} believe.
For the Jews require {continually yammer after} a sign {but even if it is given will they truly believe?}, and the Greeks seek after wisdom {which they turn to their own lusts and desires for the ‘wonders’ of the world and worldly ‘things’ bedazzle them};
but we {being of a different persuasion than the above peoples} preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews {as} a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness {stupidity},‘ 1 Corinthians (1: 20-23)
One of Paul’s favorite haunts was in Corinth. This ‘church-learning center’, which eventually lost out to the Roman center as they eventually devoured all the other learning centers , was one of the last reputed centers of learning to surrender to the notion that Jesus (pbh) was actually crucified! That would be very hard to explain IF Paul did believe that Jesus (pbh) was ‘physically’ on the cross and died a normal death!
But seeing that some of the Jews found comfort in ‘doing their GOD a favor’ by slaying one whom they called an imposter are now readily irked by Paul’s language. First of all, no one can do THE ALL-POWERFUL AND ALL- GLORIOUS GOD a favor.
Secondly, like the people of Abraham who found comfort in the ‘old ways‘, they refused and scoffed at the idea that Jesus (pbh) was the actual Messiah! How can a ‘dead man’, whom they supposedly killed, bring in the revealed greatness to the world?
The Greeks who were Gentiles (Gentiles can be of any nation or race) but not Jews, but especially the Greeks in Paul’s concept brought worldly order, a kind of democracy, science, engineering and titillating practices of the flesh with also tales of gods and goddesses to the fore.
See how Paul talks about a certain kind of wisdom above! This equates to what I call worldly wisdom. Such was the wisdom of one Roman Emperor named Heraclius. When it came time, however, to put his ‘faith on the line’ concerning his already held belief in the Prophet (pbh), he chose the world over the afterlife.
The highly and very complex ideas of Paul were bound to cause quite an uproar in many places as can be seen in the Book of Acts. Even Peter’s secretary wrote about this man Paul and his ‘complex’ hard to understand ways of speech:
{Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the Day of GOD {The DAY of JUDGMENT WHEN the SCROLLS WILL BE GIVEN UNTO MEN AND PARADISE AND HELL-FIRE WILL INHERIT THEIR OWN POPULATIONS}, wherein the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we {BEFORE THOSE TIMES TO THE TIME OF PROMISE IN DWELLING IN THE EARTHLY PARADISE FIRST ESTABLISHED FOR OUR MASTER WHEN UPON HIS RETURN}, according to his promise {that he taught us before being taken up to the heavens}, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be {very}diligent that you may be found {on his return} by him in peace, without spot and blameless.
And account that the longsuffering of our lord {master – Jesus} is salvation, even as our BELOVED brother Paul also, according to the {type of peculiar} wisdom given unto him, has written unto you,
as also in every one of his epistles, speaking in them of these {extremely complex and difficult to understand} things. Therein are some things hard to understand and highly ‘spiritual’ things*}, which those who are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction {as they will not dwell on these things in unity of purpose but corrupt their meanings through their selfish desires}.
*{HOW DIFFICULT IN MEANING IS IT? An example is given below.
Jesus answered and said unto him {a Rabbi called Nicodemus}, “Are you a master {teacher} of Israel, and you do not know these things?
Verily, verily I say unto you, we speak {of} what we know and testify {of} what we have seen; and you receive not our witness.
If I have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things? John (3: 10-12)}
Of course this was on another topic (being born again of water and the Spirit) but the complexity of the issue is such that ‘if you are a high scholar and you don’t understand what is perceived to be mundane things, then how are you going to be able to understand ‘spiritual’ things?
So Paul, like the Book of Revelations and even Jesus (pbh) himself can act as a ‘spiders web’ for people who are meant to be trapped. As human beings, we have no knowledge of the UNSEEN so it is better to just obey the dictates or Sunna of the Prophet (pbh).
Some would say that GOD is not very nice like this. However, that is being ignorant because all the Abrahamic religions tell of GOD’s complete, fair and honest judgments. People don’t have to reason out the why or the wherefore because that pathway may lead to darkness and destruction.
Skimming the surface for edification and defense of the truth done for the sake of GOD may be forgiven though.
The following comes from the Christian Book of Revelations which, when read correctly, supports Islamic hadiths.
And he said unto me {John the Presbyter}, “Write: ‘Blessed are they that are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said unto me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said unto me, “See that you do it NOT! I am your fellow servant and one of your {former} brethren {in faith though I am altered in appearance due to my martyrdom for truth}, who hold to the testimony of Jesus {which is} Worship God {ALONE}!!!!! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Rev. (19: 9-10)
And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the devil {called} Satan, and bound him for a thousand years {so the paradise on Earth could prosper}.
And he cast him {Satan} into the bottomless pit, and shut him up and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled; and after that he must be loosed {for} a little season.
And I saw thrones and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them. And I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, nor his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads or on their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived NOT AGAIN UNTIL the thousand years were finished {then they shall come back again to be born into corruption}. This is the FIRST resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of GOD and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years {on Earth and in heaven}.
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison {to work his evil corruptions again},
and {long after Jesus has been resting in his grave} {the devil} shall go out to {start to} deceive the nations to the four quarters of the earth — Gog and Magog — to gather them together for battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
And they went out over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
And the devil who had deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet {Anti-christ} are; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
And I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works {and Judgment was finished}.
And death {so that death will be no more for the joyful and for the tormented} and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev. (20: 1-15)
The Book of Revelations is just a private vision unto one believer, the Presbyter called John BUT any specifics about Judgment, the Fire and the cancellation of death for the good and the bad (when a ram is brought forth and slaughtered) must be looked at from the one (pbh) who came to tell the Truth concerning these things – the Gospel of John as it pertains to the Spirit of truth – PROPHET MUHAMMAD!
But yes, it is helpful to dwell on such matters when seeking the truth. And the clarity found in Islam, through the teachings of the Prophet (pbh) is far more clear than can be found anywhere else!
{The Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) said: “On the Day of Resurrection death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white ram. Then a caller will call, ‘O people of Jannah {Paradise}!’ Thereupon they will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, ‘Do you know this?’ They will say, ‘Yes, this is death.’ By then all of them will have seen it. Then it will be announced again, ‘O people of Jahannum {HELL}!’ They will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, ‘Do you know this?’ They will say, ‘Yes, this is death.’ And by then all of them will have seen it. Then it (that ram) will be slaughtered and the caller will say, ‘O people of Jannah {PARADISE}! Eternity for you and no death. O people of Jahannum {HELL}! Eternity for you and no death.’” Then the Prophet (pbh) recited: “And warn them of the Day of Distress when the case {Judgment} has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness (i.e. people of the world) and they do not believe.” Q (19:39)} (Bukhari)
It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that when the following verse was revealed: “It is those who believe and confound not their belief with wrongdoing that are truly in security for they are on the right guidance” Q (6: 82); the Companions of the Messenger of ALLAH were greatly perturbed. They said: ‘Who amongst us (is so fortunate) that he does not wrong himself?’ Upon this the Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) remarked: ‘It does not mean that which you presume. It implies that which Luqman said to his son’: Behold, Luqman said to his son admonishing him “Oh! my son, do not associate anything with ALLAH, for false worship is indeed the gravest wrongdoing .” Q (31: 13).
Did I call the president of the US (Trump) the Anti-christ in one of my articles? No, I didn’t. I said he was of the character-type of an Anti-christ which includes a person who shows a high level of greed, manifest lying, manipulation and holding an over exaggerated opinion of himself by showing a great degree of vanity.
He appeals greatly to those who call themselves ‘born again Christians’ or those claiming that GOD had a ‘son’ who is also GOD by pandering to a few of their needs and their fears. In truth, he has no need for those people except to use them for his popular support.
The real Anti-christ individual can be found in the acceptable hadiths and the Book of Daniel Chapter 11 among other places. He is a normal human being who will MORPH into the ‘character’ of the Anti-christ due to a great anger that will come upon him.
Such great anger will probably coincide or nearly coincide with great changes in the Earth’s structure such that Earth will be altered from its physical presence as we see it today. Such things like land disappearing and other physical features being distorted are examples of this. Dan. (11:29-45) tends to verify this.
At the time appointed he shall return and come toward the south, but it shall not be as the former or as the latter {land change};
for the ships of Chittim {the West} shall come against him. Therefore he shall be grieved and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant. So shall he do; he shall even return, and have accord with those who forsake the holy covenant.
And armies shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice {daily prayer at that place}, and they shall place there the abomination that maketh desolate.
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries; but the people who do know their GOD shall be strong, and do exploits.
And those who understand among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil many days.
Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with {only} a little help; but many shall cleave to them {only} with flatteries.
And some of those of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for a time appointed.
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods {THE ONE TRUE GOD}, and shall prosper untill the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done.
Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all.
But in his place shall he honor the god of forces {JINN}; and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold and silver, and with precious stones and pleasant things.
Thus shall he do in the greatest strongholds with a strange god {SATAN}, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory. And he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price {people worshiping him}.
And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him. And the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
He shall enter also into the Glorious land** {up to Medina in Arabia}, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape out of his hand: even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the {various} countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him {concerning the coming of the son of Man – Jesus}. Therefore, he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end {he shall be slain by Jesus (pbh) and the knowledge of which is found in hadiths and Book of Revelation} and none shall help him. Daniel (11: 29-45)
**The Old Testament describes two geographical locations by using two different terms: THE HOLY LAND and THE GLORIOUS LAND. The HOLY LAND is in Palestine while the Glorious LAND is in the land of ARABIA.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) said: The (Last) Hour shall not come till the sun rises from the place of its setting and on the day when it rises from the place of its setting even if all the people together affirmed their faith, it would NOT be of any avail to one who did not believe previously and {also} derived no good from his belief. (Muslim)
It is believed from this hadith source that any change like that mentioned above will drastically alter the surface structure of the Earth. The Earth will become less stable and result in various lands sinking, as told by the Prophet (pbh) and or rising resulting in catastrophic and life changing circumstances with various societies around the Globe being thrown into massive chaos.
This type of resulting chaotic confusion will permit the Anti-christ to be able to easily maneuver between countries and eventually allow the Gog and Magog to advance all the way into Palestine without much hindrance where they will eventually be eliminated.
The Gog and Magog peoples will be locked up upon their death but will be released again towards the ‘physical’ end of the world as reported in the Book of Revelation and especially in Chapter 18 verses 98-101 of the Quran:
He (Zul-qarnain) said: “This is a Mercy from my LORD: But when the promise of my LORD comes to pass, HE will make it (the barrier) into dust; and the PROMISE OF MY LORD IS TRUE.”
On that day WE shall leave them to surge like waves on one another: The TRUMPET will be blown and WE shall collect them all together.
And WE shall PRESNT HELL THAT DAY for the Unbelievers to see, all spread out,
(Unbelievers) whose eyes had been under a veil from REMEMBRANCE OF ME and who had been unable even to hear {such that people cannot in their wild fantasies overcome ALLAH’s WILL/DIVINE DECREE/PLAN!!!!!} Q ( 18: 98-101)
