Mankind’s gamble or plain forgetfulness is that somehow GOD is going to be either absent minded or dimwitted when it comes to their own particular era. After all, if we think highly of ourselves, our kind of god should do so likewise. A few offerings here and there should placate the beast while we ought to be left alone to do our own wonderful and glorious thing.
Earth is a giant laboratory and indeed we form cycles which is nothing new but is conveniently forgotten. No matter because like the law of physics, it appears like clockwork and we are left with ‘we will fix it so it won’t happen again’ type syndrome which is comforting to the ear but plain outright stupidity when one really thinks about it.
The rise and fall of nations is like the rise and fall of temperaments found on this planet we call Earth. If this disease were to be confined to one area of the globe, then we need not speak of world-wide dramatic events. However, when the disease spreads across vast areas infecting the livestock (in our case, the human beings), then we really should worry a lot because of the dynamics built into this planet.
Built by whom? Built by our CREATOR and with that there are LAWS called Spiritual Laws that ‘kick in’ unbeknownst to man that are automatic and perfectly drawn up such that the blueprints of our ‘Cosmic Design’ are totally regulated. That notion is far above the thoughts of mankind so we can leave it at that.
Moving closer to home, we can dissect in part the rise of certain sentiments such as the far right or far left and the effects that they have on society. However, the extent of this manipulation going on ‘behind the scenes’ is not readily felt or seen. Therefore, the ‘ring of scum’ around the bathroom tub or our area is allowed to buildup due to our lack of awareness or commitment to sense the unified vision of our long ago pledged veracity to the truth; hence, we seemingly cultivate such chaos which is already built into the system.
Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, “We believe”, and that they will not be tested?
We did test those before them, and ALLAH will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. Quran (29:2-5)
Do those who practice evil think that they will get the better of US? Evil is their judgment!
For those whose hopes are in the meeting with ALLAH (in the Hereafter, let them strive); for the term (appointed) by ALLAH is surely coming and HE hears and knows (all things). Quran (29:2-5)
Such typical nonsense of forgetfulness has been cyclically repeated throughout the dawn of man’s known and unknown history as these little arrogant balls of clay will testify to on the Last Day of Judgment proclaiming that ‘had we but used our intelligence (or even logical thought processes) we would not be in our horrific state that we are in now’.
And for those who disbelieve in their LORD is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.
When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.
It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: “Did no warner come to you?”
They will say: “Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: ‘ALLAH never sent down anything (of Revelation), you are only in great error.’”
And they will say: “Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!” Quran (67:6-10)
Well that is just plain ridiculous for mankind to keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again but yet that is what keeps happening. Just like WW1 was the war to end all warssoon became a farcical notion.
And, even if we can’t pinpoint exact times of the consequences of our own folly, we should be aware that grasping at straws is not going to be our panacea. And when I declared that my guess and only a guess it was that the Anti-christ will appear within 18 to 22 years from now; it was not based on empty, fruitless logic.
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) stated that the Last HOUR was ‘relatively’ close in its approach as compared to his time of being sent to mankind!
Sahl b. Sa’d reported that he heard the Messenger of ALLAH as saying: ‘I and the Last Hourare (close to each other) like this (and he, in order to explain it) pointed (by joining his) forefinger, (one) next to the thumb and the middle finger’ (together). (Muslim)
Anas b. Malik reported that a person said: ALLAH’s Messenger, how can the non-believers be made to assemble on the Day of Resurrection (by crawling) on their faces? Thereupon he said: Is HE WHO is {ALL} Powerful to make them walk on their feet not powerful enough to make them (crawl) upon their faces on the Day of Resurrection? Qatada said: Of course, it is so. (He adjured): By the Might of our LORD. (Muslim)
In a time-type sequence:
First, Islam had to become known to mankind in general and then one could think in terms that mankind would someday soon (sometime within a few thousand years of Jesus’ first coming) will come under the gun of SOME TYPE OF Judgment following some cataclysmic events happening on Earth and then the rise of the peaceful Christ kingdom and then its decay and disappearance from Earth followed by the horrible, unruly crew of disbelievers and finally Earth’s flattening or being pulverized and then JUDGMENT DAY.
Today we are presented with an image of clay mocking the very realities of truth! America, the Shining Symbol of Freedom on a Hill, is but a mocking resemblance of truth, honesty and a shining light for man’s supposed development! How so!
America chose to elect as its so-called hero or standard bearer (a convicted felon and one who has been proclaimed far and wide as a huckster, narcissist and grifter with a somewhat passion to be arrogant in deed and action!). This is the so-called ‘shining example’ of a great nation? Let the Holy Records speak for themselves and take notice!
What do some of our Holy Records propound?
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: I heard Ibn Az-Zubair who was on the pulpit at Mecca, delivering a sermon, saying, “O men! The Prophet used to say, “If the son of Adam were given a valley full of gold, he would love to have a second one; and if he were given the second one, he would love to have a third, for nothing fills the belly of Adam’s son except dust. And ALLAH forgives he who {truly} repents to HIM.” Ubayy said, “We considered this as a saying from the Qur’an till the Sura (beginning with) ‘The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you…’ was revealed.” (Bukhari)
Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take MY slaves as (lords, gods and protectors) besides ME {and follow not the WAYS I have COMMANDED}? Verily, WE have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers. Quran (18:102)
A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Psalm (127:1)
By the grace GOD has given me, I {Paul} laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds.
For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid {through varied circumstances}, which is Jesus Christ {this man accomplished much from his many labors beginning as our adam and ending by his glorious triumph over evil by remaining a sinless man aided by his LORD due to his complete obedience and submission to his CREATOR LORD}.
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
Each one’s work will become clear {there won’t be any doubt about his record that he will have sent forward}; for the {Last} Day {of Judgment} will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 1Corinthians (3:10-13)
“Woe to the rebellious children {sons of adam},” declares the LORD, “to those who carry out a plan that is not MINE {who follow ways contrary to Truth}, who form an alliance, {with others of their ilk} but against MY WILL {DESIRES}, heaping up sin upon sin. Isaiah (30:1)
A man’s heart {desires} plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. Proverbs (16:9)
Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will {always} Prevail. Proverbs (19:21)
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business, and make a profit.”
You do not even know what will happen tomorrow! What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Instead, you ought to say, “If the LORD is Willing {say Insha ALLAH}, we will live and do this or that.” James (the physical, half-brother of Jesus) (4:13-15)
No matter how one phrases it, the proof is in the records for all to see! Yet the blind cannot see because they are on a different trajectory that their secret desires in the hidden regions of their soul proclaim! And like asses driven mad by poisoned water, they rush headlong towards their promised doom!
Say (O Muhammad): “Shall WE tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?
“Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!
“They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, Revelations, etc.) of their LORD and the Meeting with HIM (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, WE shall not give them {their so-called good deeds} any weight.
“That shall be their recompense, Hell {Why}; because they disbelieved and took MY Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, Revelations, etc.) and MY Messengers by way of jest and mockery.
“Verily! Those who believe and do righteous deeds, shall have the Gardens of Al-Firdous for their entertainment. Sura (18:103-107)
How does one deny the clear and upright evidences? There are many ways of having oneself being put in jeopardy:
- Refusing to believe in the importance of ALLAH’s WORD or not caring to act on it or make an attempt to act on it.
- Refusing to be educated and insisting that their ‘old ways’ will be acceptable or blessed by their CREATOR no matter their belief systems because that way makes them feel comfortable.
- Making their own Divine Laws in their heads such that every excuse they use becomes a LAW unto itself (for them) and therefore, GOD must obey their own principles.
- Proclaiming that GOD had better accept their own definitions because they said so.
- Fearing friends, neighbors and society with more intent than they would fear GOD.
- Proclaiming that some societal belief that they have will be their excuse and that their excuse will be enough.
- Expressing by their tongues that they have a right to worship as they please and that a LOVING GOD MUST ACCEPT their own premises.
- Denying the existence of GOD HIMSELF!
Man is good at inventing excuses for himself yet the history of mankind shows the tarnished example of people reverting back to their old ways of doing business. Yet the LOVING GOD kept sending prophets and prophets to warn mankind of the DAY that no excuses will be accepted.
And mankind in some shape or form was a witness to these things so no excuses would he have to declare a lack of knowledge or awareness of such. Otherwise there would be no real justice and GOD’s JUDGMENT would be a joke. But ALLAH does not share HIS SECRETS in depth but allows man to climb up the proverbial mountain one step at a time.
And climb some will but others due to their intransigent beliefs will hold onto the old ways causing them to be rejected on the Last Day of judgment.
