It is hard to express but that is just the way it is. It is a sense of meaningfulness or a oneness which is built into the creation. What I’m talking about is a type of harmony and unity that exudes a ‘oneness’ within ourselves (kind of fitra) and our environment outside our selves. It is a powerful sense of belonging and ownership (lordship – vicegerentcy).
This belonging means that there is a goodness of fit as pieces in a puzzle come together and the ownership is that natural feeling of a ONE GOD WHO DOMINATES ALL THINGS AND HAS BROUGHT ALL THINGS INTO BEING UNDER HIS WATCH (PLAN) AND DETERMINED OUTCOME. Everything ‘bows down’ to ALLAH’s WILL such that there is no escape from HIM or any errors in HIS VARIOUS CREATIONS.
So what? With the breakup of humanity into more and more of a fractured state, a trickledown effect should become apparent and create the atmosphere for the physical breakup of lands which surely must come to pass and which was discussed in some of my articles. In believing this to be true, so becomes the idea that man is truly his own worst enemy because of his influences on the face of the Earth.
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) did not come down to Earth to speak as a ‘Zen’ master but the reality is, when Islam is studied, there will be found an interlinking relationship between man’s activities and the Earth’s environment. The similitude of this is a spider’s web which is made of different strands of silk with different properties (some sticky and some not sticky) but all entwined with each other for a special purpose.
Jesus answered them {by saying}, “Is it not written in your law, I said you are gods {vicegerents}.
If HE called them gods {vicegerents} unto whom the Word of GOD came and the scripture cannot be broken. John (10: 34-35)
From the article “A Veil of Tears”:
‘There is a tradition of Ubayy-bin Ka’ab which states: All of mankind was assembled in separate groups giving them the understanding that they were to be made vicegerents {lords} on Earth while imparting their wisdom and understanding, i.e. granting them power such that each individual (would be) completely and fully responsible for his actions. Therefore, no individual can absolve himself or herself from (the) RESPONSIBILITY of deviation from ALLAH’s WAY. Therefore, it became man’s duty to make use of ALL of his facilities of the gifts given to them from ALLAH to DISCERN TRUTH from ERROR (falsehoods).
When your LORD drew forth from the Children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): “Am I not your LORD (who cherishes and sustains you)?”- They said: “Yes, We do testify {to the TRUTH of this matter}!” (This), lest you should say on the Day of Judgment: “Of this we were never mindful“{or chose to forget}: Q (7:172)’
If the angels had to serve man as they bowed down to their excellence – an excellence achieved not by self but only by ALLAH’s PERMISSION – then man becomes the supreme benefactor on this Earth filled with uncountable other ‘servants’ of ALLAH that also do HIS bidding.
Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: they became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth, others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of ALLAH and ALLAH is NOT unmindful of what you do. Q (2: 74)
Be NOT DECIEVED; GOD is NOT mocked: for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. Galatians (6: 7) and the manner of reaping is in the hand of the ONE GOD!
For example, not only can we find the putting the body out of harmony by feeding it a continuous supply of processed, fast foods, empty sugar and other useless poisons from the soil, air and water creating internal, bodily malfunctions, but we can also carry the analogy further to the lands on which we live. By carrying this thought forward, one can now see how a fragmented, broken down and stressed out society will also have a subtle impact on possible earthly changes or so the theory goes.
This thought further enhances the idea that man is punished for what his own ‘hands’ have passed on before him. It also enhances the idea of a oneness of the creation. Yes, but aren’t we all different, some tall, some short, some brown, some black and some are female while others are male. Yes, but it boils down into the basics and when ‘they’ die, they will all become DUST (save the restricted few)!
Another analogy comes from the story of Jonah (pbh). His people were destined for destruction IF they did not come to their senses. But they changed their ways and went back to true belief and thus were spared their imminent destruction that was prepared for them.
In yet another example, some experiments done on supposedly ‘dumb’ plants showed that the human being can affect plant growth-behavior by mental thoughts or mental desires as well as physical actions. Therefore, the un-harmonized, out of control, unruly and faithless actions of man theoretically can trigger a possible revolt even from the area of weather and tectonic plates sending vibrations and destructive earthquakes throughout the land. For ALL are servants of the ONE GOD and ALL ARE ANSWERABLE UNTO HIM.
Ibn ‘Umar relates that the Holy Prophet (pbh) said, “When ALLAH inflicts punishment on a people, it covers ALL the (members) of that people. But on the Day of Judgment they will be raised up according to their conduct in life.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
The good who will have perished with the wicked will NOT be punished with the wicked. It is important to remember from a saying of the Prophet (pbh) that on the Day of Judgment, they will be treated differently. So, yes, the good will be raised up with the bad but they will NOT be treated the same!
Still these things will happen such that Anas ibn Malik said, “The Prophet (pbh) was asked, ‘O Messenger of ALLAH, (what will happen) when we stop {what has been commanded for the humans to do} enjoining good and forbidding evil?’ He said, “When what happened to the Israelites happens among you, when fornication becomes widespread among your leaders, knowledge is in the hands of the lowest of you and power passes into the hands of the least of you.” (Ibn Majah)
The basic element of bringing on the destructive forces in nature, for example, is basically due to one thing: when ‘we’ stop enjoining good and stop forbidding evil!
So the land revolts against its aggressor – MAN! So the equation becomes thusly: a fragmented society leads to a fragmented earth. Concerning this thought, only generalities can be known in this equation whereas the particulars are indeed locked up in the Unseen. Nevertheless, a correlation of sorts can be established between the breakup of societies and the breakup of the Earth’s crust through various ways and means (land shifting, land sinking/rising, volcanoes, etc.)
Therefore, it is man who brings upon himself his own destruction through his negative and destructive influences. So the end result is that it is NOT ALLAH WHO throws the people into Hellfire; it is the person himself, who reneged on the pledge he made to his LORD, who puts himself into the Fire.
When your LORD drew forth from the Children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): “Am I not your LORD (who cherishes and sustains you)?”- They said: “Yes, We do testify {to the TRUTH of this matter}!” (This), lest you should say on the Day of Judgment: “Of this we were never mindful“{or chose to forget}: Q (7:172)
Now let’s talk about whether more truth can be ‘teased out’ of the New Testament concerning the non-crucifixion of Jesus (pbh) and add more fuel to the argument of his NON-CRUCIFIXION!
From the article “A Veil of Tears”:
‘Then they {immediately} took up stones {in their wrath} to cast at him: but Jesus (hid himself) and went out of the {enclosed} temple {while at the same time} going through the midst of them {brushing past them} and so passed by {undetected} **. John (8: 56-59)
This is another example of Jesus’ ability as a shape changer as I talked about previously. It also provides another example of how ALLAH had promised to keep HIS SERVANT Jesus (pbh) protected from the violence of the Jews as is reported in the Quran and how he was aided in escaping the shameful and humiliating ‘naked’ death on the cross.’
The expression ‘Jesus hid himself’ does NOT mean he ducked behind a table like a quivering coward but rather means that he ‘DISQUISED’ himself in such a way which hid his recognizable features and then proceeded to walk calmly away from that rabble that were intent in killing him by going ‘through the midst of them’. This activity lends itself very well to the ‘SUBSTITUTION THEORY’ whereby Simon the Cyrene was the actual man who was crucified in the place of Jesus (pbh) as was historically verified by Peter’s own disciple/secretary!
The biggest mystery, however, which should be clarified by Jesus (pbh) when he comes back is the notion that IF there were really two men in the grotto (grave) (the crucified body and Jesus) how come only one of them walked out and NONE was left! Indeed! They did carry into that grotto a body and a body which was taken down from the cross!
Is that an impossible task for man to figure out? No, it is not BUT ONLY when Jesus (pbh) returns will the ‘full truth’ of the matter be known. However, the ever curious man wants possible answers to the so-called impossible!
Did I not say in my previous writings that Jesus (pbh) was not only an empath but a special empath as well? For sure I said that and proved it through a verse in the New Testament. Then look to nature as we have been instructed in the Quran and see the amoeba and its food. The amoeba surrounds its food and takes it in by incorporating it to itself and the food becomes the amoeba; therefore, the amoeba and the food source become ONE!
Did I not also say that some verses in the New Testament have been juxtaposed from their original positons? For sure I said that! Perhaps a clearer definition is needed. Some concepts from the original manuscripts have been kept BUT MOVED TO ANOTHER PLACE TO COORDINATE A MORE CONTEMPORARY BUT LESS HONEST THOUGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL.
If one takes the notion as being truthful that Jesus (pbh) said to someone “THIS DAY you will be WITH ME in Paradise” and that this someone was the man crucified we now have the man and the action but it is presented out of sync in the current New Testament.
Now, in this case, one has to follow the notion that Jesus (pbh) is the representative man as I have called him many times and also take note that he was on Earth after the passion event for 40 days as found in Acts in the New Testament. Putting all of this together and assuming that when you see Jesus (pbh), the perfect and sinless one, you are seeing a man of PARADISE with the idea that somehow two people became ONE as the amoeba example given above one might be able to see the big picture.
How this could have been accomplished is anyone’s guess and quite frankly something beyond our earthly comprehension. A SPECIAL TYPE OF EMPATH, in my opinion, could become one with his subject, take on the hurts, heal that individual and then if ALLAH WILLED, absorb that soul.
About this matter, I cannot prove what I don’t know but the verse about the man joining Jesus in Paradise in the New Testament (THIS DAY) (1) has been saved, (2) put in its proper place and (3) a mathematical impossibility (two in the cave with one coming out and none left in the cave) has become a reality.
And he {the supposed criminal-man hanging on the cross supposedly next to Jesus} said unto Jesus, “lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him {the one who was hung on the cross}, “Verily I say to you, TODAY you will be with me in PARADISE.” Luke (23: 42-43)
From the article “A Great Miracle That Never Happened”
‘How do we know that Jesus (pbh) was in the ‘tomb’ along with the dead man? According to Matthew (12: 39-40) Jesus would be alive during this time frame doing something special while in deep concentration – perhaps as a special empath or one who could take upon himself that what has occurred to another and cause healing especially if those hurts came upon him – not from others but in the process of healing the ‘other’ and raising that individual to life {which he had the power given to him from ALLAH to raise the dead}. However, this concept is quite mindboggling and it would be better and much saner and rational to wait until his return for the most correct answer! ALLAH ALONE KNOWS BEST!!!
And he said unto them {those who had wrongful designs} “You will surely say to me this proverb”, ‘Physician, heal thyself: {for} whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, {you} do also here in your country {on yourself}.’ Luke (4: 22-23)
But he answered and said unto them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly {alive}; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth {alive}.” Matthew (12: 39-40)
Do the records show this possibility of empathic healing? Yes, but it needs understanding:
{She} Came behind him {Jesus} and touched {just} the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stopped.
And Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, “Master, the multitude throng about you and press about you and you want to know who touched you {as in ‘how is it possible’ that one can tell who touched you with so many people here in this throng}.
And Jesus said, “Somebody has touched me; for I perceive that {a healing} Virtue is gone out from me.’ Luke (8: 44-46)
The end result is as always placed in the hands of ALLAH but mankind can get a glimmer of unity of the records as they are ONE in intent! What makes these records (Holy Books) disjointed is the corruption found on paper stemming from the corruption found in men’s hearts! Nevertheless, those who search the records in truth can still get a ‘unified picture’ of the tales of the Oneness of Faith.
Those to whom WE have given the BOOK study {and practice} it as it should be studied {and practiced}: they are the ones that believe therein: those who reject faith therein, the loss is their own. Q (2: 121)
Suhaib reported ALLAH’s Messenger as saying, “It is remarkable that everything turns out well for a believer while that applies only to a believer. If happiness befalls him, he gives thanks and it turns out well for him, and if misfortune befalls him, he shows endurance and it turns out well for him.” (Muslim)
Abu Huraira reported ALLAH’s Messenger as saying, “The strong believer is better and dearer to ALLAH than the weak believer. In all that is good be eager for what benefits you, seek help in ALLAH and do not be too weak to do so. If any affliction comes to you do not say, ‘If I had done such and such, such and such would have happened.’ Rather say, ‘ALLAH DECREES and what HE WISHES HE DOES,’ for the words, “IF I HAD {DONE}” provides an opening for the deeds of the devil.” (Muslim)
