The idea of Jesus (pbh) not being crucified is not new. The story of his non-crucifixion begins with the simple understanding of the Abrahamic religions and the notion that they are integrally connected. Connected through an honest study of Comparative Religious Science even though the peoples of these various religions, at times, maintain a type of weird aloofness to this fact.
Abraham (pbh) had two noteworthy sons as is described in the Old Testament: Isaac and Ishmael and these two sons represent THE MONOTHEISTIC RELIGIONS we see today: Judaism, Christianity, called in the Western world as Judeo-Christian, and Islam.
Furthermore, the above two sons of Abraham (pbh) were discussed with honor in the Old Testament such that none of them were downgraded as being troublesome heathens. Rather, both would produce ‘men of excellence’ to fill the world eventually with men of faith. This fact cannot be disputed by honest men but has been ignored by certain groups who are ignorant of that fact or who have a ‘personal’ agenda to push.
In this understanding, we are better able to ‘see’ similar patterns of expression such that, for example, it will NOT be permitted to worship more than ONE ‘UNIVERSAL’ GOD. But true worship eventually means TRUE OBEDIENCE to this ONE DIETY and HIS DESIRE, WILL and PLAN rather than just mouthing ritualistic creeds or fancy self-styled beliefs in order just to preen oneself as many individuals of these three faiths often do!
So, following real religion is tough and not as easy as it seems. Spouting and pontificating is easy but backing it up with true perseverance is really hard. Hence, a lot of phony-isms tend to be involved in religious hijinks especially the mesmerizing actions coming from TV Evangelists or things like ‘if I don’t understand it, then it is not true’. So it is helpful to look at the specific religious texts one is talking about.
When it comes time to look at the New Testament, for example, one can see these writings best as a capsulized version of events that took place over a period of decades – the expected birth of Jesus all the way to the would be vultures, called Anti-christs in the letters of John, who will go forth to corrupt the Creed.
In retrospect, the New Testament is much rather like the Reader’s Digest taking a 400 page novel of events and incorporating that whole novel by condensing it to 40 pages. The above means that it will basically hit the ‘high spots’ without going into great and prolific detail.
This will signal ‘Reader Beware’ such that it will be easy to flex this Testament to any way one wants to bend it. This is one good way in which criminals can be caught out on the Last Day and humiliated! People should realize that nobody can get away from the knowing gaze of the LORD.
After all, their carelessness was their own (what their own hands have passed on before them) and they did not deem it necessary to ‘trust in the process’. Hence, they are condemned by their own hand!
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that enters not by the door into the sheepfold {by acknowledging the LAW and the PROPHETS {ALL THE TRUE PROPHETS}, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber {and will be refused Paradise}. John (10: 1)
Such an example which occurred in the Islamic framework occurred under the auspices of the vile group known as the Kharijites. Their interpretation of the Quran was puerile at best and evil at worst. Their main claim to glory is the murder of many Muslims who didn’t fit their ignoble ‘skill set’.
As a Holy Book the Quran embodies a type of weighty evidence compacted in a certain way as to be valid in cyclical cases as well as specific ones. We can think of this as to the four seasons (winter, spring, summer and fall) being repeated over and over again throughout the vast ages.
The Quran, which has been related to the ‘being of’ Muhammad (pbh) by his wife ‘Aisha (may ALLAH be pleased with her) as in when you see Muhammad you see the Quran and vice versa suggests a tremendous density will be incorporated in its pages. This is equated with the saying that the Prophet (pbh) was given 6 things that other prophets were not given and one of them is overall inclusive comprehension and density of his words.
Abu Hurairah reported GOD’s Messenger as saying, “I have been given superiority over the prophets in six respects: I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies); spoils have been made lawful to me; the earth has been made for me a place of worship and ceremonially pure; I have been sent to all mankind; and the line of prophets is closed with me. (Muslim)
In other words, an example from the Quran shows this complexity: a man must travel from stage to stage can be interpreted as a person being born, going through puberty, reaching adulthood and then seen in advanced ‘decay’ seemingly ready for the grave. That is true enough! Also true are the other so-called 100 other definitions to this ‘journey through several stages’ and it depends on which level one is actually talking about!
You shall surely travel from stage to stage {in this life and the Hereafter} Quran (84:19)
The Quran also gives an insight into a historical perspective generally hidden from normal view. For example, the special Jewish sect called the Essenes or the main drivers of the true Messianic story. This story begins several centuries before the birth of baby Jesus (pbh) and research shows the denseness that the Quran brings in that respect.
Mary the mother of Jesus leaves her family to go eastward. There must be a special occasion for this activity and there was. It just took a while to comprehend it.
We now know, and this is backed up by the Quran and history, that this particular sect of Jews (the Essenes) was at odds with the more earthly loving Pharisee sect. We know from research that the Essenes were specially bonded together to bring forth ‘honorable and noteworthy families’ who had female offspring that would need special ‘initiation’ rites in order to act as a ‘pure chalice’ to produce a physical entity that would become the ‘Promised One’.
The only way to do this successfully was to ‘cloister’ these female chalices before they reached the age of puberty in the hope that some SIGN would be given that the soul of the future Messiah would come forth into the world protected and nurtured by this group. The perspective Messiah was to come as a baby and babies don’t just drop out of the sky.
So, he wouldn’t come as a fully-formed man but as a holy child to grow up and become that ‘special one’ to liberate, as was hoped, the ‘deserving Jews’ (believers) from the pagan Romans and reassert TRUTH in the world as opposed to its evils.
By reading the Quran, we get this same historic notion and some of the prophets and or noble families that were involved with this spiritualistic appeal to the ONE GOD. Only female children from ‘noble families’ would be chosen in the hope that such a well looked after chalice would be designated not by the Essenes choice but by being picked by the ONE GOD HIMSELF.
Why pick a pre-pubescent girl? The reason being that she could be taken in purity from regular and often vulgar society and be ‘trained’ in the ways of purity guided by the elders who were either claimed prophets (in our case only a few) or trusted devotees. Such was the purpose of this group’s existence as it was more or less true to its original foundation centuries before the birth of Jesus.
The Pharisees hobnobbed with the pagan Romans and the Sadducees didn’t give a damn for the afterlife and that was the state of religious truth Palestine found itself in. As far as the Essenes were concerned, the Messiah was to be born from a female and that female had to be particularly pure and well-guarded and as a result had to be under strict conditions.
The value of a noble child from a noble family can’t be overestimated. What kind of sacrifice would a religious sect present before their GOD? Not a crass one but a sanctified one from a noble family brought up in a special way acting as an offering to their GOD.
That in itself required work, dedication and planning while remaining vigilant and prayerful as Palestine was a hotbed of villainy and debauchery. Hence, the sealed and secret place near Qumran and many things, when one reads the Quran concerning this issue, start to make historical sense.
History notes that the modern Israeli flag has as its symbol the ‘STAR of DAVID’. One doesn’t find the staff of Moses (pbh) or the Tablets containing the Ten Commandments being on the flag. Why? The answer is hope and relevancy for the Jewish concept.
The important thing for the Jews is DAVID (pbh) because of his special relationship to the Messiah given in both the Old and New Testament. Hence, the ‘Victory’ of the ‘Believers’ overcoming the world and their enemies! So, the action on what to put on their flag makes sense and can be now justified by logic.
So, with this information, we can take the Psalms (the special Book given to David (pbh) by his LORD) to be ‘THE PRIMARY’ source of knowledge and activities for ‘THE BELIEVING JEW’ looking towards the future. Now the stage is set to understand this holy man Jesus (pbh)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As to the crucifixion, one can’t crucify the RIGHTFUL MESSIAH because in the BOOK OF DAVID it is QUARANTEED BY THE ONE GOD HIMSELF THAT THE MESSIAH WILL BE UNDER HIS PROTECTION – Psalms (91:10-15)! This fact was known by Saul and other ‘highly educated’ Jews who defended this truth.
Hence, anyone (Messiah- type) who does get crucified MUST BE FALSE or their GOD must be FALSE. Therefore, the reason of hating the new Jewish group claiming that Jesus (pbh) escaped death and actually WAS THE RISEN, REAL MESSIAH becomes very logical – to them, at least.
If one is not into playing word games or into being stubborn for stubborn sake then the New Testament and the Quran also provide evidence for this Non-Crucifixion. While the Quran is brutally clear about it, the New Testament gives valuable hints to decipher this problem when logically looking at history and other ‘connected’ occurrences that are also found in the New Testament. It’s like deciphering a twisted puzzle but one has to follow a carefully thought out pattern rather than following the rabble.
Secondly, by virtue of the Quran denying the actual physical crucifixion of Jesus (pbh) and NOT the crucifixion occurrence itself Quran (4:157) we are given certain hints as to what may have occurred. History says there was a crucifixion and the Quran guarantees it!!! So, we are left with putting the crucifixion story under the microscope in order to see what we have.
Jesus (pbh) hints that his way of the cross is really a must for anyone desiring Paradise. Now, the alert student throwing off the shackles of enforced definitions must find out what cross was Jesus (pbh) talking about that we as future hopefuls of Paradise must endure. If it is being nailed to a wooden cross, then Paradise will inevitably be a very lonely place in which to dwell.
And because all ‘holy records’ act like a virtual spider’s web, one has to be cognizant of cross- connections not only within that particular record but also with other records from other religious spheres of influence. In reading the three books that I was fortunate to produce took into effect this spider web connection.
The spider web connection is based on the idea that the ONE GOD is AL-WITR meaning that HE is ONE and that HE likes the odd number and that all things developed in this physical universe from a small pinprick size beginning, known now as the Big Bang Theory, shows some form of connection. So, everything IS RELATED in some form or other and ALL THINGS GO BACK TO HIM!
So in many issues what is on the surface that doesn’t seem to be related actually in reality are related! And these relationships interconnect with each other like a spider’s web. That is why that reading one hadith, for example, only gives a certain clue as to an occurrence while other hadiths and other verses from various scriptures give that issue talked about further depth and understanding!
Whether it is the so-called crucifixion story or Zul-Qarnain or the Anti-christ or the land of the Arabs turning into meadows or even climate change or the reality of the Gog and Magog, one gets a better understanding of what actually happened or is going to happen when one connects the dots as it were.
This is understood as ‘many so-called threads interconnecting to bring a better vision of reality to our world’!
The importance of the Essene Community can’t be overemphasized too much. It forms the basis for the ‘pleading’ for the Messiah to be brought forth and upholding the glorious banner of the believers of that era. The emphasis will be on the Messiah not the group who prayed for him to come.
The New Testament does not go into detail about this community because it was not necessary. Also, the time for their glory came and went as ‘entropy’ was about to set in.
This entropy is a common thread running throughout this particular planet and is readily shown in the many dynasties that came and flourished and decayed and fell. The same with religious thoughts.
Once the holy child Jesus was born and protected and watched over by the secretive and often persecuted sect of believers, their job was finished. After all, several of their members acting as true prophets were slain by the Jews of the Pharisee branch of Judaism.
Jesus (pbh) was on trial to become a spokesperson of THE WORD and he had to complete his earthly perfection in order to be that SIGN to mankind and the one who could unlock the door for GOD’s Prophet to come. In other words, all things occur in due season!
According to an Islamic hadith, many men have been perfect but only 4 women have held that distinction. One of these women was Mary the mother of Jesus.
The New Testament doesn’t spend much time on Jesus’ youth and the ‘missing years’ after the age of 12, although it may be fascinating to some, it adds little to our knowledge of the Christ-soul. What it does do is permit people to engage in wild-eyed notions to manipulate the religion as they see fit, usually for themselves as to their profit.
The crux of the matter starts when Jesus (pbh) reaches about 30 years of age and he goes forth as a ‘general preacher of goodness’ and a sometime healer of the sick and raiser of the dead. This will arouse in the Pharisee class a suspicion that he is a prophet and maybe a tad more being that some talk is being leaked around concerning the possibility of this perhaps being the expected Messianic Age. Hence, he might just be that personage.
This is where the fun really begins because the various Jewish sects are looking at Jesus (pbh) and wondering who he is. They are also looking at his followers and know instinctively that they are not common Pharisees. A fear and hatred fueling jealousies then comes about.
In truth, the Essene Community, their job being finished, either will morph into what Jesus (pbh) is declaring or else will go their separate ways. This will cause some future problems with a ‘new administration’ being formed among the Essenes sometime after Jesus (pbh) leaves the Earthly plane. History does mention something about the ‘Christians of Saint John’ found in modern day Iraq and their cleaning rituals which is very similar to the Essene Community of old.
Anyway, Jesus (pbh) is now for all practical purposes a perfect human born without sin and staying without sin, all done under the Watchful eye and Guiding Light of the ONE GOD without whom nothing could be accomplished!
He knows by now that he is the ‘Chosen One’ as he had gone through trials and stages and reaching the highest level a man can reach in prophethood (Rasul with a Book {Testament}), he now begins his quest to advance only in GOD’s NAME and only according to GOD’s WILL.
Even though he is the Messiah, he can’t go off script but must compel himself as GOD’s true servant to perform only the way GOD WILLS and has PLANNED. And he is imbued with a high degree of intelligence and purpose.
In other words, it might sound fantastic but Jesus (pbh) has surrendered his will, his total will, to do the WILL OF THE FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN as the New Testament declares. And if that means following a ‘certain script’ that is what he will do!!!!!
Obviously, being born a prophet and talking in childhood as a newborn baby, he is super gifted and nobody’s fool! However, his miraculous ways are done in increments all the while a deep suspicion and hatred by the ruling class of Jews starts to plot and plan for his execution.
This is done because the great setup that they have with the Romans will be overturned and they fear the loss of this worldly-life while paying only ‘lip service’ to their religion. Jesus (pbh) called that type of person a hypocrite.
So, in order to protect themselves, they send out a network of spies to follow Jesus (pbh) around and try and trap him into making damaging statements in order to show the people, even the people who profess their love for him, that this person is either possessed by a devil or highly dangerous to the state, meaning the current state of affairs.
The baiting of Jesus (pbh) by these wretched Jews knows no limit. It will start with verbal abuse and turn to violent activities such as a hopeful stoning to death, which according to the New Testament, they unsuccessfully tried several times. His close followers are not immune to these tactics, however, and over time become more and more terrified.
The Development and Contents of these stories in any Holy Book is NOT by whim or happenstance. Everything must fit together perfectly with perfect timing and perfect resolution while being able to account for all occurrences past and future. Lest it be said that the ONE GOD did not give the people in any age a chance to turn to HIM!
This impossible and unimaginable job could only be done by THE ONE in TOTAL CONTROL. Otherwise, this would be a helter-skelter universe where only chance and luck would be the norm and where an ALL-POWERFUL and KNOWING GOD would be a mirage.
The idea of ‘who the hell do you think that you are’ voiced in defiance of Jesus (pbh) by paid common thugs working for the ruling class of Pharisees has been expressed by opposition voices in several places in the New Testament. Even sly attempts at trying to kill him are mentioned.
Besides his miraculous escapes from violence and his moralizing, for example the Sermon on the Mount, there is not much written about ‘Jewish activities’. Hence, one can conclude that basically, what one is dealing with when one deals with Jesus (pbh) is in fact Judaism with only a slight twist to the formula and that is that he, Jesus, is the real promised one.
And that his words and actions with the various healings proves that point. So, there is no need of begging for a sign to be given as the corrupters kept harping about.
It would seem that Judaism would continue to be that vehicle used for spreading the WORD but it, like packaged foods, will have a time limit put to it. In other words, to the Jews first and foremost but if they become ‘stiff-necked’ about it, then to others must fall this crown of a type of Jewishness.
With the voicing of ‘we are Jews’ meaning nothing, it appears that the ONE GOD is looking at the behavior of the person’s heart that will determine true faith and that whatever a man sows; he indeed shall reap. But as the Christ was eager to point out, Jewish Law would remain intact as a word to the wise even though the wise, as Paul would declare, became fools.
As to his supposed crucifixion, hints about his escaping the crucifixion as in the taking of his life from that form of torture are imbedded in the New Testament as I have already shown in these writings. Whether it be implied or directly refuted by Jesus (pbh) himself as found in the Gospel of John (10:18), there seems to be a test not only for his immediate followers but also for those who will come after this group by decades and by centuries.
Can these people think straight? Can they fight off the suggestion of former paganism?
That is imputed in the saying ‘By their fruits you will know them’ such that people lean towards their weaknesses that will be either faced and conquered or have that weakness (the hunger of the soul) conquer that individual. So, in effect, it is NOT the ONE GOD WHO puts the soul through carnage (past, present or future) but it is that soul who writes its own ticket of success or condemnation for the resultant afterlife.
That puts the onus strictly on mankind and refutes the notion that GOD is an unjust or uncaring dictator. In this way, HE seals the deal and that is one way in which man is totally and fully dependent on HIM.
That lesson Jesus (pbh) learned a long time ago and he was permitted to develop those characteristics that led to his dynamic position as the real Messiah; hence, we find a completed MAN of the highest order who was allowed to speak at birth, be born a prophet and do wonders like taking inanimate clay and forming it and breathing into it with GOD’s PERMISSION, and it became a real live bird with real wings and feathers and a heart and stomach and, of course, could fly.
As to his Non-crucifixion deal which has been covered in near completion by this author what can be said? Towards the end of his mission, he told his Disciples that he would be taken (arrested), charged with treason against the state and sentenced to be crucified. His Disciples responded with fear and he scolded them for fearing that which would not harm them and told them to go and wait for 3 days in a safe house and he would visit them again.
Most of them still didn’t get the full picture because they were normally afraid of worldly things and didn’t quite trust in the LORD’s emissary, HIS Messiah. Still, they went along with the plan and when they ‘ran away’ when Jesus (pbh) was taken; they did not run helter-skelter this way and that but gathered together under one roof to await further development.
Being apprised of their worst fears from those of the 70 who were in attendance to the horrendous proceedings and who knew where to report to as to the location of the safe house (an excellent plan and a good precaution by the way), caused much pain and concern. Would they be next if they stayed in Jerusalem?
However, after much debate and fear, they went with the cooler heads who stayed with the plan. They were rewarded for their efforts when Jesus (pbh) came through the wall of the building and surprised them. And their fear became multiplied and far outpaced their happiness in seeing him ALIVE.
And surprised they were as they thought that, from the report of their trusted friends in faith that, they were actually seeing a ghost or spirit as is recorded in the Gospel of Luke and as implied in the Quran. Jesus (pbh) calms their fears by acquiescing to perform a miracle for the party which should be known as the REAL LAST SUPPER or the last time that all, except the ‘traitor’, would be in attendance.
Little of this affair is related in the Gospel of Luke as compared to the very poignant and dramatic affair concerning this event as is related in the Quran! Like all things, the Quran is going to give the gist of what is taking place and we can safely infer that the Original 11 members of Jesus’ companions would become totally and solidly, without future hesitation, confirmed BELIEVERS in TRUTH WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST THOUGHT OF DOUBT ANYMORE after the Table of Viands came down from heaven to feed that blessed group!!!
Going to the Quran like this solves many problems but man is very contentious as is stated in the Quran (18:54) and wants to argue for his so-called side or belief system even when things are made clear. Such being the case, mankind has a tendency to be against Christ in that he, the Christ, made it his mission to be obedient to his LORD and to keep his own emotions in check as is recorded in the New and OLD Testaments.
I delight to do YOUR WILL, O my GOD; YOUR LAW {has been placed} is within my heart {so it now becomes automatic for me to act upon and follow YOUR WILL}.” Psalm (40:8)
WE have explained in detail in this Quran, for the BENEFIT of MANKIND, EVERY KIND OF SIMLITUDE: BUT MAN is in most things, CONTENTIOUS. Quran (18:54)
For he came {to this Earth environ} NOT to do his own will but to do ONLY THE WILL OF THE ONE WHO SENT him!!!
In looking for reality and for TRUTH, whether it be a bitter pill to swallow or a joy to behold, one thing is most certain. That thing is the AWESOME ability of the Quran to fold in on itself and to present a BOOK of eternal truths in such a way that even now, man’s intellect can hardly believe it (as to its complexity wrapped up in its simplicity)! Saying it is just a Holy Book tends to undermine its superiority among the other Holy Books.
It is a BOOK beyond compare being so dynamic in scope but, as in all things, how true it is that life’s exploration is what one makes of it.
If we are permitted to understand a few mind-bending concepts, then the New Testament becomes clearer as to the true belief that the Christ ‘suffered’ for us (for a purpose) and that through his ‘blood’ (life experiences) we are saved IF, AND ONLY IF, ONE CAN COME TO THE REALSISATION OF WHY THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WAS SENT AND HIS MISSION TO BRING PEOPLE INTO THE FOLD OF EVENTUAL SALVATION.
Also, a further benefit will give us the insights needed to look at Isaiah’s Chapter 53 and behold it in a new but more understandable light!
The following quotes from the New Testament will show the real meaning behind the Christ being a SIGN for mankind as he was CHOSEN for a job amongst the ‘perfect ones’ or so-called sons (going by Biblical language usage). As the ONE WHO is CREATOR of all desired to have a ‘one’ body* (not meaning the physical body nor a political body but rather ONE SOUL go through ‘STAGES’ for purification as an offering in PRAISE to GOD HIMSELF, so this ‘being’ even in himself desired to lead the way at various times for men to improve themselves (from the hole they dug themselves in, in the past) for the purpose of having man turning to the ONE GOD in a better and truthful way of worship.
{*for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.
Therefore, when he {the Christ-soul} came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering YOU {my GOD} did NOT desire, but a body YOU have prepared for me.
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin YOU had no pleasure.
Then I {Jesus} said, ‘Behold, I have come— in the volume of the book it is written of me {that which is written of me –the Christ-soul,} to do YOUR WILL, O GOD {and be that sacrifice/body/person}.’ ”
Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin YOU did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law),
Then he said, “Behold, I have come to do YOUR WILL, O GOD.” HE {and HE ALONE} takes away the first {type of offering} that HE may establish {the PATTERN/SIGN FOR} the second {type}. Hebrews (10:4-9)}
The above explains the Christ-soul and the Quran gives us in concentrated form the gist of that argument in this expression:
Indeed, the example of Jesus to ALLAH is like that of Adam. HE created him from dust; then HE said to him, “Be,” and he was.
The truth is from your LORD, so do not be among the doubters. Quran (3:59-60)
For as in Adam all die {as the pattern has been set each according his own strivings before he was lifted up}, even so in Christ {coming full-circle} shall all be made alive {as the pattern has been set each according to his own individual strivings}. I Cor. (15: 21-22)
Whom GOD has set forth {to be} a propitiation through FAITH in his blood {meaning life experiences being put under strict obedience to GOD’s WILL through his ‘term appointed’ as he journeyed through the various ages}. Romans (3:25)
You have been SAVED through Grace by FAITH {as proffered by the directives of the prophets to do in like manner as they asserted}; It is {only a} Gift** of GOD.
{**But those who do wrong but repent thereafter and (truly) believe, verily your LORD is thereafter Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Quran (7:153)}
And NOT a result of {your plain} works {that you believe that you are ‘lucky enough’ to possess} that {an IGNORANT} man {mistakenly TO HIS FOLLY} BOASTS of. Ephesians 2(8:9) ***
Abu Hurairah reported:
{***I heard the Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) say: The first of people against whom judgment will be pronounced on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who died a martyr. He will be brought before ALLAH and ALLAH will make known to him HIS favors and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: “And what did you do about them? He will say: I fought for YOU until I died a martyr. HE will say: You have lied. You only fought that it might be said [of you]: He is courageous. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire. Another man will be a man who has studied religious knowledge and has taught it and who used to recite the Quran. He will be brought and ALLAH will make known to him HIS favors and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: “And what did you do about them? He will say: I studied religious knowledge and I taught it and I recited the Quran for YOUR sake. HE will say: You have lied. You did but study religious knowledge that it might be said [of you]: He is learned. And you recited the Quran that it might be said [of you]: He is a reciter. And so it was said. Then that man will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire. Another man will be a man whom ALLAH had made rich and to whom HE had given all kinds of wealth. He will be brought before ALLAH and ALLAH will make known to him HIS favors and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: “And what did you do about them? He will say: I left no path (untrodden) in which YOU like money to be spent without spending in it for YOUR sake. HE will say: You have lied. You did but do so that it might be said [of you]: He is open-handed. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire. It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi and an-Nasa’i).}
These things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation {hardships}; but be of good cheer {for success shall soon come because}; I have {been permitted by my LORD to} overcome the world {in all of its manifestations}. John (16: 33)
Therefore, I say unto you {disobedient ones who refused to hearken to me or to understand me}, the Kingdom of GOD {as to its excellence and honor} shall be taken away from you, and given to {another LAW-GIVING} Nation bringing forth the fruits thereof {through its Purified Way (QURAN)/instruction}. Matt. (21: 43)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the FATHER except through me. John (14:6) and;
I am the gate. If anyone enters through me {doing my way as putting myself and my desires under the WILL of my GOD as in obedience to HIM}, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. John (10:9)
In him (the Christ-soul) was life {by his actions of obedience to his LORD SHOWING THE CORRECTNESS OF THE WAY IN BOWING DOWN TO GOD’s WILL}; and the life was the light of men {as he demonstrated to them the correctness of behavior to the ONE GOD in his various visits to various men at various times}. John (1:4)
Taking into effect the reported saying of ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas**** concerning the very deep mystery of the seven heavens and seven earths, which cannot be fully known, we can think of this Christ-soul as ‘our adam’ who with ALLAH’s PERMISSION became Enoch (pbh), Zul-Qarnain (not a real name but a descriptive title meaning lord or master of the two ages), Melchizedeck, Joseph (Yusuf (pbh) *****, Ezekiel (pbh), the son of man and leader of Israel according to the Book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament, Joshua bin Nun (pbh), the servant boy of Moses (pbh) and his story is found in the Old Testament and partly in the Quran, and of course Jesus (pbh) the door opener for Prophet Muhammad (pbh) to come to name just a few.
{****‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas, a most excellent companion of the Prophet at a very young age, may have provided a clue as to this ADAM/adam quandary. His dropped hint about such matters that would allow science and Islam to be in agreement and to show that there is a PROTOTYPE ADAM and other adam-types also.
Ibn ‘Abbas ‘supposedly’ said concerning the verse of the 7 heavens and Earths, “If I explain this verse to you, it will {be made to} feel absurd to you. And you will think of it as a lie.” He also was reputed to have said: “How can I be sure that you won’t deny the extraordinary explanation of this verse {if I give it to you?”}
Ibn ‘Abbas was once reportedly asked about the Quranic verse Q (65: 12), “It is ALLAH who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them.” He replied, “Seven earths: IN EVERY earth is a prophet like your Prophet, an Adam like your Adam, a Noah like your Noah, an Abraham like your Abraham and a Jesus like your Jesus“… (Al-Durr Al-Manthur in the Tafseer Bil-Ma’thur by Imam Suyuti who adhered to the Sunni- Shafi’i madhhab or school of thought). The soundness or correctness of the above declaration may or may not be in doubt – as ALLAH WILLS}.
If we imagine that, we can understand many of the sayings attributed to Jesus (pbh) and about him without thinking of him being more than a human being and GOD’s trusty servant. His reward according to the Quran is great and his deeds were sublime. But above all, we know whom he served and what religion he will proclaim in the future.
O Mary! ALLAH gives you glad tidings of a Word from HIM: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to ALLAH. Quran (3:45)
{*****Taking Yusuf (Joseph) as an example, one finds things are not what they appear on the surface. For example, look at the following hadith:
Abu Huraira said: ‘The people said, “O ALLAH’s Messenger (pbh)! Who is the most honorable amongst the people (in ALLAH’s Sight)?” He said, “The most righteous amongst them.” They said, “We do not ask you, about this.” He said, “Then Joseph, ALLAH’s Prophet, the son of ALLAH’s Prophet, The son of ALLAH’s Prophet the son of ALLAH’s Khalil (i.e. Abraham).” They said, “We do not want to ask about this,” He said’ “Then you want to ask about the descent of the Arabs. Those who were the best in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance will be the best in Islam provided they comprehend the religious knowledge.” Bukhari
If this example was ‘just’ about lineage, then science (genetics), history and the Prophet’s last sermon would negate this!!! We have lots of examples of ‘Noble families’ producing offspring that were defective. Even our ‘father’ adam had a son called Cain.
The Prophet (pbh) has stated that neither black nor white, Arab or non-Arab are superior but it is the ‘piety’ in the man that makes him superior.
So, there is logically something about this man Joseph (pbh) that makes him become the Most Beautiful Story/Lesson in the Quran – something deep and symbolic to the human race itself due to that expression being used in the BOOK which is THAT HOLY BOOK CHOSEN ABOVE ALL OTHERS (the Holy Book used in the Christ kingdom on Earth) AND PERSONALLY PROTECTED BY THE CREATOR HIMSELF!}
It is not our job to crack this peculiar ‘nut’. We can, however, see a little bit and be in awe, if ALLAH permits, from the GLORY OF HIS PLANNING and HIS DOMINANCE OVER ALL THINGS FOR HE IS THE AL-KHABEER, THE ALL AWARE.
What is with you must vanish: What is with ALLAH will endure. And WE will REWARD those who practice fortitude according to their best deeds.
Whosoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, PROVIDED he is a BELIEVER ****** WE will certainly grant him to live a pure life in this world {to come as in the future – the paradise on Earth} and WE will reward such people (in the Hereafter) according to their best deeds. Q (16: 96-97)
And as ALLAH’s WORD does not change, as the seasons go by, we learn from the Quran:
And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to you of the Book of your LORD: none can change HIS WORDS, and none will you find to be a refuge other than HIM. Quran (18:27)
{******For this is the COVENANT that I will make with the house of Israel {in their terminology meaning the BELIEVERS who are the BELIEVERS in any AGE} after those days {the second coming of Jesus}, says the LORD: I will put MY Laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their GOD, and they shall be MY people.
None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for ALL shall know ME, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
For I will be Merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will REMEMBER NO MORE {I WILL ERASE}.”******* Hebrews (8:10-12) – found in the New Testament.
{*******So, we have mentioned in these two sources above Quran (16:96-97) and the New Testament Hebrews (8:10-12) the temporary paradise on Earth (the Messianic kingdom described in many hadiths or the thousand year kingdom described in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament) and the FINAL Paradise in the Heavens that is ETERNAL. Toping all of this off, we find in our equation the additional statements of travelling from Stage to Stage Quran (84:19) and that a person must be born again of water and the Spirit (on that WAY of FAITH) or he cannot enter the Kingdom of GOD, the final Kingdom {in the Heavens} John (3:5).
This now reinforces the hadith, which has caused a lot of problems in interpretation, which states:
By HIM {THE ONE GOD} in WHOSE hand is the life of Muhammad {according to HIS express desire, purpose and plan}, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent {that he has been sent by the ONE GOD as HIS personal emissary to disseminate the truth} and dies in this state (of disbelief {during the time of the Messiah returning to the Earth}), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire. (Muslim)
This provides a strong example of the connectivity or the spider’s web relationship shown when one connects events in a meaningful way!
And from the Quran we have man’s TOTAL HISTORY locked up in the following verse which mankind does not have to know but only be cognizant of especially the word ‘YOU’ which does not leave out any human being and also includes the idea that it is man’s responsibility to realize THE ONE WHOM he should owe his allegiance to!
HE it is WHO made you Vicegerents in the earth. NOW, whoever disbelieves shall himself bear the burden of disbelief … Q (35: 39)
You have met THIS FATE because {OF WHAT YOUR OWN HANDS HAVE PASSED ON BEFORE YOU – Q (18:57) – AND} you REJOICED on the Earth in things OTHER THAN THE TRUTH, and then EXULTED {REVELED} in it. Q (40:75)
So, religion in the sense of ‘guidance’ is important for the faithful but amounts to no account for those who enjoy (who revel in) being of the faithless! Therefore, it truly must be said:
Had WE sent down this Quran on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of ALLAH. Such are the similitudes which WE propound to men that they may reflect. Q (59: 21)
Those who are hopeful of Paradise will indeed be cognizant of his (the Messiah’s) trials no matter the era and happy at his victory (for he overcame the world and unlocked the door to usher in that Final Prophet (Muhammad) who is most dear to the CREATOR LORD (as recorded by Isaiah pbh) ******** and be of those wanting to shout out the praises for the GOD he worshiped in truth. ALLAHU AKBAR!!!
{******** “Behold! MY Servant whom I uphold, MY Elect One in whom MY soul {MY BEING} delights! I have put MY Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. Isaiah (42:1)}
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of GOD {in the Heavens}. John (3:5)
You shall surely travel from stage to stage {in this life and the Hereafter} ********* Quran (84:19)
As an example of travelling from stage to stage while providing a sound example of the importance given to the relationship between Jesus and David as found in the Old and New Testaments, we can use the following hadith and Biblical passage as an adroit example of just how connected things really are. This is yet again another idea of the marvelous connections within the construct of real faith!
{********* Abu Hurairah narrated:
That the Messenger of ALLAH said: “When ALLAH created Adam, HE wiped his back and every person that HE created among his offspring until the Day of Resurrection fell out of his back {We are from Adam {as Adam is us} symbolizing that he is that ‘stable Sign’ or pattern for humans to follow as in a pattern or WAY including salvation and appealing to ‘our’ LORD in seeking HIS MERCY AND FORGIVENESS IN BOWING DOWN TO HIS WILL.} HE (ALLAH) placed a ray of light between the eyes of every person. Then HE showed them to Adam and Adam said: ‘O LORD! Who are these people?’ The LORD said: ‘These are your offspring.’ He saw one of them whose ray between his eyes amazed him, so he said: ‘O LORD! Who is this?’ HE said: ‘This is a man from the latter nations of your offspring called Dawud (David).’ Adam said: ‘LORD! How long did YOU make his lifespan?’ HE said: ‘Sixty years.’ He (Adam) said: ‘O LORD! Add forty years from my life to his.’ So at the end of Adam’s life, the Angel of Death came to him, and Adam said: ‘Do I not have forty years remaining?’ He (the Angel of Death) said: ‘Did you not give them to your son Dawud (David)?'” He (Prophet Muhammad) said: “Adam denied, so his offspring denied, and Adam forgot and his offspring forgot, and Adam sinned {makes mistakes}, so his offspring sinned {makes mistakes following part of that pattern we inherit as being sons of Adam}.” (At-Tirmidhi)
So Adam and humanity are of like nature, one coming from the other and both being as human as human can be with the end result that both parties have/had to work for salvation!
Who {the Christ-soul}, in the days of his flesh {in his journey through his life experiences}, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to HIM who was able to save him from {spiritual} death, and was heard because of his godly fear,
Though he was {but} a son, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered {willingly undertook to go through}.
And having been {finally} perfected {in all phases of his life}, he became the author {THE PATTERN or SIGN to SUCCESS AS TO BOWING DOWN HIS WILL TO HIS LORD in complete submission} of eternal salvation to all who obey HIM {the ONE GOD WHOM he faithfully served},
Called by GOD as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,”
Of whom we {your teachers} have much to say, and {but find it very} hard to explain {these things to you}, since you have become dull of hearing.
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of GOD; and you {in your dullness} have come to need milk {only the near basics} and not solid food. Hebrews (5:7-12)}
