A good question might be, how come these articles aren’t written in Arabic strictly using Arabic sources? Well, for one thing these articles are not especially for people who have a good handle on Arabic Islamic sources. Secondly, these writings are about Comparative Religion showing more or less things of a religiously uniform nature. After all, GOD is not just for one race or named religion (names named from people’s lips only like a hollow sounding bell).
Furthermore, it is hoped that misconceptions concerning certain key points of history, philosophy, spiritualism, and intent can be put in a ‘new, more comprehensive light’ so that a broader understanding of the ‘building blocks of real religion’ might be brought forward and the personalized nature of religion (false religious concepts of religion spewed out by the profiteers of this villainy) might be uncovered and combated.
A good question might be, how come Dr. Yasir Qadhi and his ‘free internet materials’ were mentioned? These materials were mentioned in order to provide a construct that is objective and based on a more sound and empirical basis than just mere vain talk. What is being alluded to here is the attachment to the idea of John (16:12-13).
Jesus declares, “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now {so you (my believers) must wait until that spirit will give them unto you (So be content in believing in me and what I have come with – here a little, there a little and line upon line for this life is a marathon and not a sprint built upon precept – Precept upon precept (Isaiah pbh)}.
However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into ALL truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak; and he will tell you things {of the future} to come”. John (16:12-13)
One can understand only fractionally the idea of John (16:12-13) as it relates to a process and a real existence of facts as it stands without instruction. So instruction is going to be supremely important! Basically, by themselves these are just nebulous words {John 16:12-13} meaning little and referring to even less.
A good example of this would be a visitor going into the jungle and finding a lost tribe of non-English speaking people and teaching them only one English sentence; ‘The Moon has igneous rocks’.
So, they can repeat that sentence until the cows come home BUT IT WILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CONCRETE MEANING UNTIL THEIR ‘MEDICINE MAN’ HAPPENS TO ASSIGN ONE WHICH MIGHT BE TO TURN THAT SENTENCE INTO ‘PARROTS SQUAK WHEN FED SEEDS OF CORN’.
Therefore, John (16:12-13) on the broad scale has never, ever been satisfactorily explained by Christians!!!!!!
Since religion as a whole, plus the AFTERLIFE, the time spent as death approaches and the occurrences after death, together with the ease or struggles of waiting for Judgment, the expectations of handing out the scrolls (records), the triumphs and tribulations of the act in receiving these scrolls, the levels of Paradise and Hell-Fire, the permanent residence of these places versus the temporary residence of the Hell-Fire, the complete roasting of the body and the soul given a new body for roasting again, etc. etc. have not been discussed in thorough detail by anyone else other than Prophet Muhammad (pbh).
Then what truthful guidance are people waiting for that they were told that they would receive?
Receive from that Spirit of truth that is going to ‘TEACH (that is to instruct) THAT TRUTH’!!!!!
See how people have glossed over this ‘fact’ while trying to sensationalize other parts of their New Testament? And to those of old it was said, AND WHEN HE COMES, you are going to get the ABC’s and factual evidence of future events, not fables or fancy philosophy featuring the tales of the ‘gods’ or any philosophical bunko artists who have been tainted by ‘Greek fairytales’!
The bunko artists should have been unmasked during America’s Presidential race, as they spewed their vomit about their god guaranteeing who would win the Presidential election as they supposedly had a private communication with their so-called perfect, unerring creator-in-chief! These (some of them blabbering – those who claimed to be speaking in tongues) false and accursed prophets of Satan, have shown to the wise that indeed Prophet Muhammad (pbh) is THAT SPIRIT OF TRUTH MENTIONED IN THEIR MUCH ABUSED – by them – WORKS!
The prophets are also called Spirits as in the possibility of phony prophets to come so that the ‘believer’ is asked to ‘check out’ these various Spirits calling themselves prophets to see if they are truthful or plain outright liars. Hence, a criterion is issued in order to judge with surety between good and evil:
Beloved, do not believe every spirit {that should come to you speaking with prophecy}, but TEST THE SPIRITS to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John (4:1)
As Jesus (pbh) declared: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘master, O master’ shall enter the Kingdom of heaven {Paradise}, but {only} he who does the will of my Father {GOD WHO is} in heaven.
Many {false followers} will say to me in that day {the Day when Paradise and Hell hang in the balance}, ‘master, O master, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; get away from me, you who practice iniquity!’ Matthew (7:21-23)
Who does more wrong than those who invent a lie against ALLAH? They {these rebuked, disgraced sinners}will be turned back to the presence of their LORD, and the witnesses {against them} will say, “These are the ones who lied against their LORD! Behold! The CURSE of ALLAH is on those who do wrong! Quran (11:18)
Because a person can’t test a ghost, as it has no physical reality, the above verse naturally refers to warm, flesh breathing human beings. False prophets or false human beings have always been the bane of humans willing to trade in their birthright for some tacky reason such as arrogant self-glorification. Therefore, it behooves the religious follower to:
Humble yourselves {willingly}, therefore, under GOD’s mighty hand {in HIS sent down GUIDANCE GUARDED FROM CORRUPTION: THE GLORIOUS QURAN}, that HE may lift you up {to success} in due time. 1Peter (5:6).
To OPEN BLIND EYES, to BRING OUT PRISONERS FROM THE {SPIRITUAL} PRISON, Those who SIT IN DARKNESS from the prison house.
Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar {the Arabs} inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela {a mountain around Medina the ‘final home’ of Prophet Muhammad (pbh) and the home of the Ansar} SING {rejoice}, Let them shout from the top of the mountains {for the NEW COVENANT of THE LORD is UNFOLDING}. Isaiah (42:7, 11)
Whenever I hear the song ‘Amazing Grace’, I think of the above ‘song’ and how, without thought or plan, things have been for those whose breasts have been opened. But more importantly, how Mighty and Wonderful our LORD is such that HIS IS THE WILL AND THE DRIVING FORCE that sets up life itself – past, present and future.
How DYNAMIC and truly OMNIPOTENT and ALL-WISE our CREATOR LORD is! How HE has planned, controls and supports HIS various uncountable creations and doing all of this without any sense of strain on HIM.
With HIM are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knows but HE. HE knows whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not {even} a leaf does fall but with HIS knowledge; there is not a grain in the darkness (or {even} depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read).
It is HE WHO takes your souls by night (when you are asleep) and has knowledge of all you have done by day; then HE raises (wakes) you up again that a term {already} appointed (your life period) be fulfilled; then (in the end) to HIM will be your return. Then will HE inform you {in Judgment} of that which you used to do. Quran (6:59-60)
Say: “HE has Power to send torment on you from above you or from under your feet, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, and make you to taste the violence of one another.” See how variously WE explain the verses (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs and revelations) so that they may understand. Quran (6:65)
The importance of such a symbolic song as Amazing Grace is that when we step outside ourselves for a moment of peace and inner thought, we might see how utterly depended we are for our very present and future life to the ONE CREATOR GOD and why we must never, ever join partners with HIM.
We, as a people, like different foods, different colors, have different lifestyles but do we have the courage to remember HIM WHO gave us life and will be our JUDGE and JURY? By turning to HIS GIFT to the world – the clear and perfect QURAN and the legitimate sayings of HIS Prophet (pbh), we show that we have taken on the responsibility as HIS representatives for our salvation.
And finally why is it stated in these writings that Jesus (pbh), like all men, started off with Fitra (a type of purity of the soul) fell from his LORD’s GRACE and redeemed himself (through his complete submission to his GOD) and thus becoming a SIGN even for hope unto the whole human race IF, and only IF, they would accept that WAY laid down which we would call the ‘Law (or way) of the ONE BROTHERHOOD of Prophets’:
The similitude of Jesus before ALLAH is as that of ADAM; HE created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was.
The TRUTH (comes) from ALLAH alone; so be not of those who doubt. Quran (3:59-60). Also:
The similitude of the Earth (as one might say) is that of an ostrich egg – an understanding taken from Quran (79:30):
Nowhere does the Quran say that Jesus (pbh) is THE ADAM. It only gives Jesus (pbh) the likeness of adam featuring many similarities (known and unknown) including the supposed ‘following in his footsteps’ as a ‘SIGN’ category.
Such is the knowledge one can say that nowhere does ALLAH claim that the Earth is a giant ostrich egg with a large quantity of egg yolk inside.
As to its proof of reality see the other statements made by this author concerning this matter especially concerning the Prototype ADAM versus ‘our adam’ and don’t forget to include science and other hadiths concerning what can be said of the ‘ORIGINAL’ ADAM along with the statement of Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas concerning Quran (65:12):
Ibn Abbas ‘supposedly’ said concerning the verse of the 7 heavens and Earths, “If I explain this verse to you, it will {be made to} feel absurd to you. And you will think of it as a lie.” He also was reputed to have said: “How can I be sure that you won’t deny the extraordinary explanation of this verse {if I give it to you?”}
In conjunction with this, comes the gnostic teaching of Jesus’ soul found in Hebrews (5:7-8) in the New Testament whereby these things have NO bearing on the supposed painful crucifixion as is given in Psalms (91:10-16 ) and Quran (4:157, 5:110). So, the records are ONE when studied correctly and astutely AND IN KNOWING THAT ONLY THE QURAN CAN BE CONSIDERED IN ARABIC TO BE FREE FROM ERROR!
Who in the days of his flesh {acting as our adam}, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto HIM that was able to save him from {spiritual} death, and was heard in that he {really, truly} feared;
Though he were a son {of that group of ‘lights’ that were chosen}, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered; Hebrews (5:7-8); Isaiah Chapter 53
And so he was permitted to continue on his journey in life to become that one who was to have the honor of paving the ‘way for that Spirit’ who would bring the Final Message to the world – for those who would accept it!!!!!
This knowledge is like experimental physics. Nowhere has it been claimed that knowledge of this science is mandatory for salvation!!! Therefore, complete the basics which is the Christ-way and do not, like those who have poisoned their various ‘faiths’, go over the top in ridiculous expressions, beliefs or actions.
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) always disliked any tendency towards religious excessiveness. He once said to his close companion Abdullah ibn ‘Amr:
“Have I heard right that you fast every day and stand in prayer all night?”
Abdullah replied: “Yes, O Messenger of ALLAH”. The Prophet said: “Do not do that. Fast, as well as, eat and drink. Stand in prayer as well as sleep. This is because your body has a right upon you, your eyes have a right upon you, your wife has a right upon you, and your guest has a right upon you.” (Bukhari)
