O you who believe, fear ALLAH and let every single soul look to what (provision) he has sent forth for the morrow. Yes, fear ALLAH for ALLAH is well-acquainted with (all) that you do.
And don’t be like those who forgot ALLAH {and then took their own course (council)}; and HE {then} made them forget themselves! Such are the rebellious transgressors. Quran (59:18-19)
WE did indeed {in the beginning} offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it; He was indeed unjust and foolish {to the core of his very own soul}. Quran (33:72)
It is true that everyone is born on a state called ‘FITRA’ or the purity of the soul! Yet the soul is not put in an icebox and left alone like a frozen, lifeless entity. There is the joy of original birth (creation of the soul) and also the physical birth or the living out the consequences needed for that soul. In other words, ALLAH is in TOTAL CONTROL from start to finish as HE even knows about every leaf that falls or blade of grass that blows in the wind.
With HIM are the keys of the Unseen, the treasures that none knows but HE. HE knows whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf does fall but with HIS Knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read). Quran (6:59)
And as the MASTER PLANNER, HE puts everything into motion through the use of HIS various slaves – Angles, who control their ‘appointed operations’ flawlessly. In other words, no mistakes, as we would call mistakes, are made that would be a ‘slip from HIS PLANNED SYSTEM’ even though the haughty would deny it:
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) said, “Then I was shown Bayt al-Ma’mur. I asked Gabriel about it and he said: “This is Bayt al-Ma’mur where 70,000 angels perform tawaf daily and when they leave they never return to it (but always a fresh batch of 70,000 angels comes to this place daily to make tawaf).” (Bukhari and Muslim)
Bayt al-Ma’mur is also called the Frequented House and it is an exact replica of the Kabbah in Makkah located in the upper most heavens.
And (by) the {much} Frequented House. Quran (52:4)
Those before them {no matter their condition in ages gone by} did (also) devise plots; but in all things the MASTER PLANNING is ALLAH’s. HE knows the doings of every soul: and soon will the unbelievers know who gets home in the end {the Final Goal – Salvation}. Quran (13:42)
No just estimate have they made of ALLAH: for ALLAH is HE WHO is THE STRONG and able to Carry out HIS WILL. Quran (22:74)
Do we comprehend this idea? Not in full we don’t because we are not capable of containing that type of PERFECTION in our physical minds. Therefore, we must take GOD’s ABILITIES to heart and in trust. The payment for this is SALVATION. And salvation is for those who believed and bowed down to HIS WILL in truthful adoration (love and devotion)!
So, the heart of ‘how in the beginning’ did certain of these souls lose out if they were originally born in a state of Fitra is based on their actions/deeds of what we know nothing about which led to their ‘running off the rails’ opening up for them their own would be destructive ending.
Because the soul’s activity of forgetting about ALLAH occurred first (the action), it then faced the degenerate consequences of ‘and HE {then} made them forget themselves’ (the reaction)! This would be the ‘spiritual war in the Heavens’ before man came to Earth but of those details only guesses, and wrong ones at that have been bandied about for millennia. It does not matter now how we got here simply because we are here!!! What matters is how we are going to respond to the challenge of what to do about it!
ALLAH did not leave anyone, except those who consistently refused to hold onto the ‘ROPE’ HE sent down from HIS MERCY, without the chance to right the ship afloat, for SALVATION. Since HE controls time and activities (after all it is HIS universe) and since HIS MERCY outweighs HIS WRATH, we are encouraged to take advantage of righting our ship before it is beyond being salvageable (and therefore being sent to the Hell-Fire).
“O my sons! Go you and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of ALLAH’s Mercy: truly no one despairs of ALLAH’s Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith.” Quran (12:87)
Do no mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, but call on HIM with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of ALLAH is (always) near to those who do good. Quran (7:56)
And hold fast, all together, by the ROPE which ALLAH (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude ALLAH’s favor on you; for you were enemies and HE joined your hearts in love, so that by HIS Grace, you became brethren; and you were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and HE saved you from it. Thus does ALLAH make HIS Signs clear to you so that you might be guided. Quran (3:103)
Here, when we move one small step towards HIM, HE moves one GIANT STEP towards us. But we must come with ‘heads truly bowed’ and not as one who is arrogant or self-righteous. Part of that realization comes from knowing that GOD is the ONE WHO is THE ALL-POWERFUL, DOMINATE ONE. And that is why we must be able to control our ‘animalistic (tainted) feelings from within’.
Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (pbh) said, “ALLAH says: ‘I am just as MY slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers ME. If he remembers ME in himself, I too, remember him in MYSELF; and if he remembers ME in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to ME, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to ME, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to ME walking, I go to him running.’ ” (Bukhari)
How mathematically or logically can we be certain that Jesus (pbh) returned to Earth for 40 days after his first ascension into the heavens instead of just staying in the heavens?
That is not a difficult problem to solve if one approaches it logically and one can use both the Christian book or so-called New Testament and the Quran. One must of course focus on the Last Supper idea to arrive at a good conclusion.
It is also helpful to understand the concept of ‘This (very same) day you will be with me in paradise’ quote found in Luke (23:43) concerning the crucified man: And Jesus said to him {the one that was going to take Jesus’ place on the cross}, “Assuredly, I say to you, Today {Semitic Time – the change of day when the Sun goes down} you will be with me in Paradise.”
So that means that he (Jesus) arose into the heavens with that other soul. That means he had to have left Earth very shortly after the body of that crucified man was taken down from the cross and put into the tomb-like structure.
Well, if he is in the heavens, how did he come back again to have that ‘Last Supper’ that is described in the Gospel of Luke from whence he instructed his closest followers in what actually occurred and to offer proofs that he was a real flesh and blood human instead of an apparition/ghost or a devil?
And he {Jesus} said to them, “Why are you troubled {and afraid}? And why do doubts arise in your hearts {about me}?
Look at my hands and my feet. It is {truly} I myself. {Go ahead}Touch me and see {for yourself if you still fear} – for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see {that} I have.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
While they still could not believe it because of their joy and astonishment {and mistrust, for they truly thought that he had been killed by being crucified}, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” Luke (24:38-41)
But still being astonished and untrusting, for their brethren {the presbyters} had confirmed his death and reported on such, they go and ask for conformation via a miracle called in the Quran concerning the sending down from the heavens a table laden with food or the Table of Viands.
Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth {at that spot/location} until the ninth hour. Luke (23:44) – Note that this information would have been taken from source Q as the original Disciples and also including Paul were dead by the time this writing (the ‘historical’ Gospel of Luke) takes place.
We have two suppers found in the Gospel of Luke. If Jesus (pbh) arose to the heavens and stayed there after the First Supper, then there would be no second or LAST SUPPER or Final Supper and therefore, he could not have come back and spoken and refreshed the mysterious occurrences that happened at the non-crucifixion event nor could he give advice (as how to spread the ‘Good News’ to the people) to his chosen Disciples minus Judas Iscariot as it appears in the semi-historical Gospel of Luke. In other words, there would be no ‘LAST SUPPER event’ and the Table of Viands in the Quran would not make any sense at all!!!
Therefore, the only logical conclusion to make is that he (Jesus) was sent back and that the Acts writing about him being in various places showing Signs of his reality (his humanity and true Messiahship) for 40 days is accurate. And it is also accurate that he ‘arose up to the heavens’ after this period to wait until he is called to enter this sphere of existence AGAIN which we call the ‘Second Coming of Christ, Jesus the son of Mary’ as is recorded at the end of Acts chapter (3:21):
Whom {Jesus} heaven must receive {him} until the times of restoration of all things {which equates to his Second Coming AND THE EVENTUAL PARADISE ON EARTH IS ESTABLISHED/THE ONE-THOUSAND YEAR KINGDOM ACCORDING TO THE BOOK OF REVELATION WHICH EQUATES TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ISLAM AS THE STANDARD PRACTICE BY EVERY LIVING HUMAN ON EARTH}, which GOD has spoken by the mouth of all HIS holy prophets since the world began. Acts (3:21)
And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him {Jesus} before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them {those who refused to bow down to ALLAH (the True and Only GOD) in Islam}. Quran (4:159)
Expand on the knowledge about the ‘Lost Sheep of the House of Israel’:
But he {Jesus} answered and said, “I was not sent EXCEPT to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew (15:24)
For I {Paul} tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised {true members of the Abrahamic traditions/Faith as in the belief in only ONE GOD System through the blessings being brought by the lines his sons Isaac and Ismail (Ismael) that will eventually be brought} on behalf of GOD’s TRUTH, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs {concerning Salvation}. Romans (15:8)
Why servant? The word servant is used because of the religious dictate which declares that if you want to be ‘leader of all (Messiah), you must become the servant of all’!
And he {Jesus} sat down, called the twelve {Disciples to him}, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” Mark (9:35); the greatest among you shall be your servant. Matthew (23:11)
See also Isaiah Chapter 53 verses 5-8 pertaining to his work in the field for the sake of ALLAH.
And he {the Christ-soul} was assigned a grave with the wicked {those lowly ones whom desired salvation but would have been deemed lost causes by the arrogant in their clay-like grave}, and with the rich in his {final} death {where he will finally be entombed adjacent to Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar bin al-Khattab in Medina} though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Isaiah (53:9)
The ‘Lost Sheep of the House of Israel’ is not a place or a narrow religious viewpoint or nationality thing but rather a life experience in true faith and devotion and the desire of the soul to enter into such. In other words, there is no luck in Islam and the souls needing lessons and desiring such must lead more with their desire and not with their mouths – like empty slogans of the foolish!
It becomes a crude way to say it but, ‘if you desire Paradise, you must earn it’! Paradise is a gift not given out by sex, race, wealth or earthly possessions or power. And being the true Messiah he must be that leader for those people who will be judged to have real FAITH in their hearts which is a lot different than those proclaiming it just with their tongues or wearing certain clothes or growing a beard just for the sake of looks.
Hence, Jesus or the Christ-soul (pbh) did not come into the world for the arrogant or the stubborn or the thoughtless but only for those who truly desired in their hearts to be subservient to the ONE AND ONLY GOD and to accept HIS WILL.
This will equate to being faithful in spirit with the oneness of the body of FAITH in the Abrahamic tradition ENDING WITH THE DYNAMIC FINAL reality OF ISLAM AS PROMISED:
And strive in HIS cause as you ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). HE has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is HE WHO has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and {that you} be witnesses for mankind {on the Day of Judgment where souls will be assigned their place of joy or their place of torment}! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to ALLAH! He is your Protector – the Best to protect and the Best to help! Quran (22:78)
It is HE {ALLAH} WHO has sent HIS Messenger {Muhammad} with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). Quran (9:33)
And we end this discussion with the knowledge of the Messiah and his purpose:
And other sheep I have which are not of this fold {time period}; them also I {as the true Messiah} must bring, and they will hear my voice {obey me}; and there will be one flock and one shepherd {ONE RELIGION}.
“Therefore my FATHER loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it AGAIN.
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have {been given the} power to lay it down, and I have {been given the} power to take it {up} AGAIN. This Command I have received from My FATHER.” John (10:16-18)
And that is the story of life!
