“You have met this {particular} fate because you rejoiced on the earth in things OTHER THAN THE TRUTH, and then EXULTED {REVELED} in it.” Quran (40:75)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness {found} in them that perish {in the secret recesses of the heart or that seat of blessedness of the soul}; because they did NOT receive {believe in or fight for} the love of the truth that they might be saved.
And for this cause {contempt for GOD’s TRUTH so that they will be rejected by GOD} GOD shall send {upon} them STRONG DELUSION that they should believe {in} a lie {focus not on doing what is right – the real food for the soul}:
That they all might be damned who didn’t believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness {took their comfort in doing other than the truthful WAY with the highest example of believing in joining partners with GOD}. 2 Thessalonians (2: 10-12)-words accredited to Paul.
Both of these verses give us the assumption that mankind is ‘tested’ as to his actions concerning his love for the ONE GOD through being awakened to the reality that it is only HIM and HIS WILL that matters. HE is THE RICH in HIMSELF and HE is THE RICH as THE GIVER!
Do we strive to open ourselves to the ‘awareness’ of HIS WAY or are we content to roam about in being something like the lower animal form – eat, sleep and reproduce and plod ahead as if nothing much else matters?
THE ONE GOD is also on ‘test’ here due to the notion of whether HE can deliver the goods? Can HE be trusted above our own weak conventions and ideas? All of us have preconceived ideas, fortunately or unfortunately, but can we subvert these ‘animal impulses’ to a HIGHER POWER especially in knowing that the rewards promised are huge!!!
Are we going to ‘play ball’ as it were or are we going our own way to gratify some whisperings from some ‘unseen forces’ set to encourage us to be selfish instead of selfless? Do we desire great things for ourselves while we are so cheap that we won’t seek out wisdom or try to understand that created little thing called ‘humanity’?
Is one who worships devoutly during the hours of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration) who takes heed of the Hereafter and who places his hope in the Mercy of his LORD (like one who does not)? Say: “Are the knowledgeable and the ignorant equal? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition {Cautionary advice about something that will come to pass}.” Quran (39:9)
The special ‘beloved’ guide sent to us over the eons (ages), to name just one individual, was that soul, a soul no better or greater than yours except by way of commitment*, to be the beacon of light to our souls. Not only that but to deliver, as a waiter at a feast, the goods that are required from men which is to follow that WAY destined and designed by GOD HIMSELF!
{*For whom HE {GOD} did foreknow {AS OF HIS KNOWLEDGE BEFOREHAND}, HE also did predestinate {or} to be conformed to the image of HIS {Chosen FUTURE MESSIAH-Servant as of a ‘pattern’} that he {this Christ-soul} might be the first born {as a type of adam} among many brethren {souls}. Romans (8:29)
The similitude of Jesus before ALLAH is as that of Adam; HE created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was {put in form}. Quran (3:59)
For whoever does the WILL OF GOD is my brother and my sister and mother.” Mark (3:35)
For both he who sanctifies {blesses the group} and those who are being sanctified {those who are saved} are all of one, for which reason he {the Christ-soul} is not ashamed to call them brethren {being fellow believers and human beings},
Saying: “I will declare your name {Believers in THE ONE GOD} to my {special brethren – fellow prophets – all men of honor}; In the midst of the assembly {standing for Judgment}, I will sing praise to YOU {O LORD THAT YOU WILL HONOR THIS GROUP OF BELIEVERS AS ARDENT WORSHIPERS OF YOURS}.” Heb. (2:11-12)}
Did not he, the Christ-soul, subvert his own personal desires when he pledged to do GOD’s WILL above his own will to bring that TRUTH to the world?
And so we are asked simply to do the same!!! And we know what it is simply by following the WORD!!! However, the greed, the blindness, the enchantment with selfishness and cheap slogans used to praise our false idols, blinds our way and corrupts our souls!
If knowledge about a bountiful gold ‘dig’ is past around, one can see scores of people going for the legendary gold with fervent desire likened to a lust. But put the goals into spiritual terms and how many are willing to pursue the quest with interest?
Our way of self-aggrandizement which is opposite of true inner reflection has blinded us on the way towards self-inflicted ruin. We have made ourselves like unto gods, that trust in impulsive, animalistic ways of thought and supposed superior behavior rather than being worthy of salvation. And so this then becomes the delusion that was spoken of by Paul and found in Quran (40:75).
Knowledge of the ‘basics’, with nothing fancy thrown in, suites the situation just fine! We can’t all be multiple PhD holders in religious specialties and we don’t have to!
Common sense should rule the day! But does it? Most people will refuse to recognize truth even if it is served to them on a shining platter because nobody can tell ‘them’ about the ‘sensitivities of life’, period!!!
They know it all and thus their so-called inadequacies are supposedly covered up (hidden from view) and will not be recognized neither by GOD nor man! But they are stung hard by the truth that ‘by their fruits you will know them’ Matthew (7:16)
But we need to practice just the basics and be consistent in those things without being severe on ourselves or pretend that ‘perfection’ can come overnight or even in a few decades or even lifetimes – Line upon line…
By remembering that one can’t win the race unless one enters the competition, the next thing is to build progressively towards feeling comfortable in one’s new skin. That is the baptism of the WAY. Not a dowsing of water over the head or the body, which is just symbolic, but a baptism under fire, to show what a person is made of, which is actually the real deal!
And that always takes practice, patience and intent. For the ALL-KNOWING GOD takes note of this and has promised to be that safety valve, that beacon of Guidance to the eventual victorious true believer. So as he, the Christ-soul turned to his CREATOR LORD, we should do the same, in like manner in carrying one’s own cross so to speak!
And see how the records really read when one understands them. See them come to life concerning that ‘Suffering Servant’, as described in Isaiah Chapter 53, who has been so much misunderstood! See also why the records should NOT under any circumstances be studied in haste!
YOU {O GOD} have made {created} him {the Christ-soul} a little lower than the angels; YOU have crowned him with glory and honor, and set him {by YOUR PERMISSION} over the {physical} works of YOUR hands.
YOU have put all things {that YOU intended} in subjection under his feet. For in that he {as was YOUR PLAN} put all {what YOU intended} in subjection under him {through his varied trials}. He left nothing that is not put under him {in his striving for human perfection}. But now we do not yet see all things put under him {for his promised kingdom (the 1000 year kingdom promised in the Book of Revelation) has not yet come to pass}.
But we {now, for he has truly conquered the physical world,} see {know of} Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the {life of} suffering of death {in his varied journeys serving YOU} crowned with glory and honor, that he, by the GRACE of GOD, might taste death {(SIN is death** and he did indeed conquer death) go through these varied temptations} for everyone {as the chief guide to mankind throughout the Ages and as a result of his victory over sin he was raised up body and soul without going through the pangs of death}.
{**For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life {as shown} in {the conquering of death by***} Christ Jesus our lord/master}. Romans (6:23)
{***Neither did his body decay in his first appearance as Jesus nor when he dies that ‘final death’, all men must go through, will his body decay as he will be buried along with the most excellent of human beings in Medina THE CITY OF LIGHT symbolizing the exalted excellence of Islam!}
For it was fitting for HIM {THE ONE GOD}, for WHOM are all things {made} and by WHOM are all things {made}, in bringing many sons {HIS servants} to glory, to make the captain {leader or leading light as a SIGN or director} of their salvation {being} perfect {born and remained without sin throughout his life by way of (through his) sufferings {temptations/conquering}.
For both he who sanctifies {blesses through his teachings as a true prophet does} and those {the true followers of those true faiths} who are being sanctified are all of one {makeup – called believers}, for which reason he {the Christ-soul} is not ashamed to call them {those people who keep the faith in earnest} brethren {brothers in faith}. Hebrews (2:7-11)
So, we can refresh our faith by seeking out the Glorious Quran and read about the ‘hope’ given to the Believers (NOT on our ideals but on the ideals set forth by HIM WHO is our LORD AND CREATOR) and with awe look upon the Brotherhood of Prophets who came to instruct in the ways of real faith and the chosen religion for those whom THE ONE GOD, THROUGH HIS MERCY AND WISDOM CHOSE AND WILL BE SHOWN IN THAT KINGDOM OF paradise on Earth****:
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam {which is Submission to THE ONE GOD’s WILL under the guidance of all of the prophets as they taught ONE GOD AND ONE FAITH}, never will it be accepted of him; and in the HEREAFTER, he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). Quran (3:85)
{****Declaring oneself to be a Muslim by the tongue or through fancy delusions of magical, invented Islam, will only serve to fool the foolish ones who believe in such made-up nonsense. The ONE GOD knows who are those deserving of Paradise and those who are not.
So, the real believer prays to his LORD for daily guidance, a success in this world and a success in the Hereafter and a protection against the Fires of Hell:
“Our LORD, give us in this world (that which is) good and in the Hereafter (that which is) good and save us from the Torment of the Fire.” Quran (2:201)}
