Well, if the last article wasn’t a surprise, I guess this one will be. The walls are closing in thanks to a whole host of things that the discerning reader will have already noticed. The Arabs fight among themselves and the outside Islamic world, for Islam at least, is growing but finding itself diluted and weak. Sure, there are bright spots and according to prophecy, knowledge is really taking off and increasing but nobody can stop ALLAH’s Determined and Wise Plan.
So my idea is that the Gog and Magog will swarm from every hill within the next 30 years. That is just an opinion and NO MORE. Everyone has a right to their opinion and hopefully if that person is mature and responsible, with no crooked intention, then maybe, just maybe, he or she might understand some things depending of course on ALLAH’s WILL. For all anyone knows, it could be 1,000 years from now but study the signs and you will know better. The one who guards his sheep well is less to be taken unawares.
Thauban reported that the Messenger of ALLAH (pbh) said: “It is near that the nations will call one another against you just as the eaters call one another to their dishes.” Somebody asked: “Is this because we will be few in numbers that day?” He said: “No, but that day you shall be numerous, but you will be like the foam of the sea, and ALLAH will take the fear of you away from your enemies and will place weakness into your hearts.” Somebody asked: “What is this weakness?” He said: “The love of the world and the dislike of death.” (Abu Daud)
Yes, some people should object that Yusef (pbh) in my last article should not have been called the ‘Son of man’. There are hadith materials especially dealing with the ‘Ascension’ of the Prophet (pbh) into the 7 heavens whereby he, for example, met Jesus (pbh) on the third level and Yusef on yet another level. As long as we don’t get ahead of ourselves, we may yet be alright.
Hadith materials are very, very good source reference materials. They are not and should not be looked at as equal to the Perfect Quran. For example, there are some hadiths that discuss this same Ascension of the Prophet (pbh) and mention Jesus (pbh) but do not mention Yusef on any level.
The duty of any hadith is to inform correctly the practical things and to get the good, general idea concerning other things. The idea here is that the Prophet (pbh) did journey to the heavens and met some prophets on the way. So, logically we will find Sahih hadith with ‘slight’ wording variations that do NOT change the meaning of the hadith.
When we are confronted with an enigma, it doesn’t mean that we go all out in incorrect belief or jump at shadows because some clever, little person put down a somewhat believable ‘theory’. What is the profit of building sand castles as the tide is coming in?
Everybody travels a slightly different road on divergent highways. ALLAH is so GREAT that HE lays down these invisible highways for us with our varied ways in mind. That is something that no one or no machine could ever do in this varied, multi-layered universe. ALLAH is HE that takes account of every living thing and non-living thing, its place in the grand scheme of things, its beginnings and endings – AL-MUHSEE.
… Not a leaf does fall but with HIS knowledge… Q (6: 59)
The great dissention between the worshipers of the ONE GOD and those who desired other than that seems to have emanated, in part at least, to that one soul who is asked in front of the assembly of men on the Last Day of Judgment.
And behold! ALLAH will say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Did you say to men, ‘Take me and my mother for two gods beside ALLAH’?” He will say: “Glory be to YOU! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, YOU would indeed have known it. YOU know what is in my {own} heart, but I do not know what is in YOUR {HEART}. For YOU know in {complete totality} all that is hidden.
“I never said to them anything except WHAT YOU COMMANDED me to say, that is, ‘Worship ALLAH, my LORD and your LORD’: and I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them; when YOU raised me up YOU became the WATCHER over them and YOU are the WITNESS to all things. Q (5: 116-117)
The translation of his Arabic name into English of course is that of Jesus the son of Mary and these verses are indeed applicable to him in that manner. And it should be remembered that according to ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas that Arabic will be the language of Paradise (on Earth at least) and this conversation hasn’t yet occurred (naturally, considering it will take place in the distant future when the world is denuded of all life). Yet, these word expressions will take place exactly as laid out in the Quran…Amazing!
As he, the Son of man expressed it in complete frankness:
“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about me.” John (5: 39)
He (Jesus) did not declare that every loud-mouthed preacher was going to be correct in assuming the ‘nature’ of himself (pbh). He openly declares that people should study the scriptures to put this mighty man (himself) into the proper perspective. But crooked souls aren’t going to do that.
What historically has been shown is that man will use that man whom we call Jesus as some sort of ‘magical devise’ in which to glorify ourselves with. Doing things in the ‘name of Jesus’ kind of puts thievery, rape, pillage and other devastations into more of an acceptable light being that he will grant forgiveness and that a token worship purifies and justifies all. Big mistake!
So an imperfect similitude concerning the Christ-soul is that of taking, just for example, the rainbow’s 7 color scheme. Take 7 eight ounce glasses, each with a different color and a multiple system of water purifiers that are arranged in ascending order of the ability to purify water. Fill the first glass with the water to be poured. Take that water and re-filter it into another glass and so on and so forth.
Some may ask the question; “Is the first glass like the third glass?” How could that be?!!!! Each glass has its own very different color!!! Also, the water is bound to be different due to the improvement of the filtration system as one advances through the various different colored glasses.
It is helpful to note that the astronauts do not take a huge supply of water up to the space station nor do they drink their own unfiltered urine. The water they drink is filtered and purified from, for example, their own urine.
All this does is to help one further understand, in part, certain so-called ‘strange’ writings that may occur in, for example, Isaiah and the Gospel of John and other New Testament writings concerning the much maligned soul we call Jesus (pbh) in the English language. A person can malign Jesus (pbh) in several ways and one way is making him out to be something he is not. The worst offense by far however, is the joining of (false) gods with the ONE AND ONLY GOD!
Yet is the understanding of that analogy the basis of true religion? ‘DEFINITELY NOT’ IS THE ANSWER! For one thing, I may not understand calculus, nor do I attempt to understand it, but I do not doggedly deny its existence nor the help it gives to various sciences. I just don’t understand calculus at all and so I leave it alone.
It appears that the man whom we call Jesus in English has been quite a divisive figure historically just like all the ‘Scriptures’ have been. Read them wrong, look at them wrong and translate them wrong according to the ‘desires’ of one’s own heart and trouble arises. Just look at the so-called sworn testimony of the so-called self-proclaimed holier-than-thou membership of ISIS, the so-called Knights Templar and other foolish and contemptible false musings on the Scriptures as well as the behavior of man in general.
In truth, the perpetrators brought their own undoing to the table and were put in a position to ‘return to their own vomit’ (if their hearts were unrepentant and rejoiced in the evils they used to cling to) as both the Old and New Testaments declare along with the Quran:
As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. Proverbs (26: 11)

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing {again} in the mire {filth}.” 2 Peter (2: 22)
Say: “Everyone acts according to his own disposition {secret place in the heart}: but your LORD KNOWS best who it is that is best guided on the {true} WAY.” Q (17: 84)
The basis of true religion is not in reading about fancy ‘theories’ or listening to the baser dregs of the soul but rather in purifying it with a good conscience. There are many ways to do this and each person has his own level that he can reach. Instead of trying to become an ‘astronaut’ he might even be able to reach higher than that by that which is deemed ‘great’ in the ‘EYES’ of ALLAH.
For example, concentrating on HIS HOLY NAMES and dwelling upon them.

ALLAH is:
1. AL-WAASIh’ – The All-Embracing ONE WHO is VAST in knowledge, mercy, forgiveness and provision.
2. AL-JALEEL – The Majestic WHO is full of Majesty and Splendor and WHO is too great to be comprehended.
3. AL-HASEEB – The Reckoner WHO is ALL SUFFICIENT and HE is the ONE WHO suffices in any trust put in HIM.
4. AL-BAASIT – The EXPANDER WHO ENLARGES by giving abundantly to whomever HE WILLS.
5. AL-JABBAAR – The IRRESISTIBLE COMPELLER WHO sets right the affairs of HIS creatures.
6. AL-‘AZIZ – The ALMIGHTY WHO is magnified by all things.
7. AL-SAMAD – THE INDEPENDENT, EVERLASTING REFUGE WHOM all creatures need.
8. AL-MUQSIT – THE EQUITABLE ONE having perfect fairness.
9. AL-BARR – THE ALL-BENIGN and TRUTHFUL ONE WHO fulfils HIS promises.
10. AL-QAYYUM – THE Eternal, Self-Sustaining ONE WHO is the ABSOLUTE (not limited by place, time, condition or circumstances)
By calling on these names one seeks direct help from the CREATOR HIMSELF for example:
AL-MUQEET – THE SUSTAINER WHO sustains all things. ‘O MUQEET YOU are the BEST to SUSTAIN. Therefore, sustain me throughout my life’.
Remembering ALLAH through approved supplications. There are several that are very, very short, easy on the tongue and give great benefits to the believer. If not in Arabic, then in one’s own language for surely ALLAH is the HEARER (AL-Samee’h) of all things and HE is the KNOWER of all things, The OMNICIENT (AL-‘ALEEM).
Even a person can make up a supplication from his own heart. This happened during prayer behind the Prophet (pbh). When the prayer finished, he asked who declared such and such and one person replied to what he said and the Prophet (pbh) told of the angels carrying that saying up to ALLAH.
An example of a made up supplication:
O ALLAH! Bless me in my family, my offspring and my home. Bless me in my land, my food and drink, my health and my DEEN (religion). You are the AL-Mighty (AL-‘AZIZ,) the Munificent Bestower (AL-WAhhAAB) and the Possessor of Majesty and Nobility (DhuL JALALEE WAL IKRAAM).
Faith basically boils down to four things:
1. The worship of only ONE GOD as directed through an approved source(s). Basically, this means to have guidance and practices coming from a truly appointed prophet.
2. Relationship to the humans around you
3. Relationship to the environment around you
4. Doing good practices for the sake of ALLAH expecting no external rewards except that which ALLAH puts forth.

Again we reach into religion to give us some answers and to soothe our souls. But only the practical applications*, as the four mentioned above, can give us the eternal happiness that is sought by countless millions. Knowing about the ‘Big Bang Theory’ or any other theory might prove helpful to some individuals but it is hardly the quality of teaching tool needed to uplift the soul to greater heights. It might free some people from crass, hardheaded notions, however and that is not denied.
The best thing would be the 4 above mentioned items put in practice in one’s daily life. With that kind of knowledge comes a better chance for purification and thus salvation.
*Every prophet had his particular way of teaching the fundamentals. When we come to Jesus’ Companions as well as ‘the others’ or the companions of the Companions, there is not much to go by. Referencing truth through stories or parables is one way of explaining the ‘Laws handed down through Moses’ (pbh) and the other prophets.
Apparently, Jesus (pbh) used many parables in story form to put forth the Law. It was for his own Disciples, however, who were to have their minds opened to some mysteries well-hidden, and as to what to do with this knowledge or so the New Testament says that this is so.

From these things, one can get a basic understanding of the responsibility of how they were to handle such explosive behind the scenes, esoteric developments. How much of a warning was given to them we can have a good guess when it is recalled ‘not to turn one’s pearls over to swine’ – New Testament. People die and another generation comes carrying the torch but not as effectively as the original Disciples did. Hence, after a fashion we get our current New Testament and the understanding that ‘it was ONLY after KNOWLEDGE came to them that they differed’– The Quran.
According to Jesus’ warning: “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet {twist the truth into lies}, and turn and tear you in pieces.” Matthew (7: 6)
Then his disciples asked him, saying, “What does this parable mean?”
And he said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ Luke (8: 9-10)
All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them,
{Such} that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.” Matthew (13: 34-35)
Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning me.”
And He {finally} opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Luke (24: 44-45)
Who knows what may come of this but ALLAH, for sure HE KNOWS. And HE also KNOWS the 70,000 sons of Isaac who will be victorious in regaining Constantinople one day in the future – hadith found in Sunnan Abu Daud
“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about me.” John (5: 39)
