When I first heard of the mild earthquake in Medina in 2009 and when I first heard of the earthquake in Indiana in 2010, I began to think. Both of these earthquakes were different but both of them had some meaning for me or at least that is what I felt.
Feelings are not the best judge of things so there must be a word of caution here because unlike something concrete, feelings are very tricky and not to be relied upon as some ‘absolute’ truth. However, the fact remains that I was impressed by these two events. The reason for being impressed was that there is given in hadiths and other records the thought of ‘earthquakes in diverse places’.
What could the saying concerning ‘earthquakes in diverse places mean’? The first meaning is obvious. It means that there will towards the end of this Age (the Fourth Age of man) be noticeable earthquakes in various regions of this Earth. However, the second meaning is much more ominous.
The second meaning seems to be that earthquakes will occur in regions or areas that are not supposed to be normally subjected to this phenomenon. It is easy to understand that earthquakes will appear on the Earth and it is further known that they will occur in places that are expected to be subjected to these tremors according to the scientific study of earthquakes. However, having earthquakes pop up where they are least likely to occur as in not being a common event seems odd. It is as if there is a sign being given to mankind for those who understand.
That sign would be what one would call ominous. That means that the ‘Great Signs’ discussed by Prophet Muhammad (pbh) will not be far off as we count time. Some may say that earthquakes have been with us since man walked the face of the Earth. That is true but what might be overlooked is the intensity, the frequency and the diversity of these earthquakes. When all of these things are put together the signs truly do become ominous.
They become even more ominous when one considers that we are entering in an era of major instability across the globe combined with the idea that the ‘hearts are growing cold’ – see the article, When the Hearts Grow Cold and the Dajjal. On top of that somewhat depressing news is piled the antics of man in relationship to be disconnected to Divine Revelation or the lack thereof.
So what basically is the Great Disconnect? It is the loss of inner faith leading to a fractious world that leads to a careless disposition of the soul and that of course leads to the Great Disconnect with the Divine Presence.
The Great Disconnect can include the following:
1. Religious fallacies due to corrupt ideas/philosophies leading people into false misconceptions and beliefs.
2. Discord and disconnections within the family by either parent not understanding one’s owed duty to the great concept of the family or by children who are willfully disobedient causing the family structure to become degraded.
3. The discord between people who lack understanding and inward ‘wisdom’ to know the difference between tribalism and real faith.
4. The discord between governments and their people leading to fractious ways of divergence or massive corruption and maltreatment of the common masses such as was seen in Tunisia and Egypt.
5. Love of the world which blinds people to throwaway their ‘humanity’ by overrunning others as mere pieces of flesh to become one who believes that the various ends justify the means.
6. The thumbing of the nose at the idea of The Last Day of Judgment and Accountability as the ‘awareness’ of THE ONE TRUE GOD becomes equated with something of a ‘fairytale’.
7. The blind person’s lack of awareness of the dangers of enjoyment of illegal acts so as to ‘release’ one’s soul from bondage to freedom whereas the real reality becomes the total opposite.
All of the above have been described before in the Holy Records and put into simpler terms. Man cannot cause the ‘dead to hear’, the blind to see or the deaf to listen against their will or vain desires. Therefore, he has to go to THE ONE GOD for all his sustenance and salvation. But if he does not do this but does the opposite with a willing heart, how then can he be saved from his doom except by the ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE HIM FROM THE TORMENT OF THE FIRE?
We can see some of this Great Disconnect in all devious behavior as well as the ungodly slurs about Islam on the Internet. These ‘slurs’ are driven by a will to destroy the fabric of Islam by treacherous means wrapped in the guise of ‘wise writings’ with the purpose of ridiculing Islam. I’m not going to list these sites because they don’t even deserve the ink that they would be printed on.
Sometimes this disconnect is associated with plain ignorance with no malicious intent intended or at least not at first. At other times this disconnect is especially planned out so as to cause confusion amongst those who believe. Yet in all cases these corruptions are doomed to failure.
As the Quran and even Paul have pointed out, the ones that try to deceive or the souls that plans on fostering mischief will have that deception returned upon them to their own doom. So rest assured, when ALLAH’s WORD is mocked, HE WILL BE MOCKING AT THEM such that they persisted in the hate of the truth even from their beginnings and turned away from the pathway of correctness.
We have the good foundation for this and the inevitable proof as told in the Quran, hadith material and even the New Testament. One can be applied to the other because the Books are ONE. See now how this confusion became inevitable from this one verse found in the Book of Matthew.
Give not that which is holy unto dogs, {those who understand not} and DO NOT cast your pearls {wisdom} before swine, {those whose intent is to make evil} lest they trample them {those pearls of wisdom} under their feet, {by creating false dogma, myths and other heinous errors} and turn again and rend you {by tearing up the unity of true faith and overcoming the truth as it was but something to slay for their unholy satisfaction}. Matt. (7: 6)
So historically we see Gnostic sayings as well as allegorical sayings be used to build a foundation for what is termed Christianity. And because these sayings were abused and trampled upon by the ‘swine’, deadly new doctrines became the foundation by which many built upon and falsely declared as the ‘faith’ of Jesus (pbh). It was not Paul’s fault to teach even though he gave warnings but still many would wish that he taught the simpler things. It was those villains in sheep’s clothing that made the corruption.*
This also has been expressed as a warning given inside the Quran:
And pursue NOT that of which you have no knowledge; for surely the hearing, the sight, the heart all of those shall BE QUESTIONED (concerning this). Q (17: 36)
Though Allah could have made it not happen and could have forced the people to a strict and true belief that is NOT HIS WAY. And the same thing happened in Islam. However, Islam remained intact whereas Christianity did not. Yet that did not stop people from making perverse dogma and breakaway sects of Islam based on corrupt thinking and playing around with allegorical things.
It can be argued that man has always acted in a certain rash and deviant manner throughout the ages but that is a given. It is when the majority of those who are supposed to know better fail in their duties to their CREATOR LORD, does man have plenty to worry about. Yes, there are lots of good people according to people but the hadiths are clear upon that subject. It seems like the numbers of the truly faithful are getting more diluted and less of a distinct reality which causes more tension and disconnection with what mankind’s primary purpose truly is.
Maybe it’s the ‘cell phone’ generation or the increase in poverty by wanting the greater piece of the proverbial pie or in the case of TV showing the grand and great scale of the lives of the rich and famous. Life is just not as simple as it used to be and there is a certain restlessness among this generation that like an ill wind bodes no good.
**The Earth is a servant of Allah and it does as it is commanded. That is not a mystery. Being a servant of Allah, it is under certain laws but things on this planet can and sometimes do act in a way that may seem strange to us. This might be because people don’t sense it or take the time to understand it.
Nevertheless, the Earth has its own particular brand of feelings as a ‘living object’ subjected to Allah’s Will. Even the very trees and rocks are known to show life but not the kind of life man is used to.
And man is definitely not the know it all he might pretend to be. Most of us, to be honest, are quite too busy with our humdrum daily lives to be interested or even aware of such things. What is worse is that we don’t seem to understand or appreciate the consciousness that surrounds us. Hence the great disconnect between various peoples and various systems – all vying under the misconception that this is the life and the Real Reality of the Hereafter is but a foggy concept that a person just happens to fall into at the time of death.
The beguiling system of ‘be what you can be or be all that you can be’ is nothing more than a ‘sterile’ saying without commonsense when it is applied to ‘just getting ahead in this world’. That means if the ‘religious morals’ are bypassed in favor of just getting ahead, greed becomes the filler of the vacuum instead of true wisdom. Hence, the person becomes disconnected with his ‘soul’ and pursues a lifestyle incongruent with the pathway of REALITY.
In all honesty, people seem to be so disconnected with Reality that they make such a ‘hash’ out of life. In one important area called ‘religion’ people seem to stumble around trying to make out what is really going on. This occurs with ALL races in ALL religions as some people find a penchant for being incapable of understanding truth except in a gross and distorted, dishonest way.
For example, the word ‘radical’ can mean different things to different people. However, if the term is understood to mean ‘off the beaten path’ or ‘estranged from reality’ then that term can be used to describe fellow brothers of the cloth who may operate in totally different ways and even appear opposite to their counterparts. That being so it is a word to the wise to be careful from that type of individual by applying ‘knowledge’ to the situation.
For instance, a zoo (somewhat of a containment tank much like this world) can contain various poisonous snakes. These snakes may appear to be quite different in their physical appearance but by just sticking your hand in their business ultimately means some dreadful adventure awaits you. It could mean death even though different venoms operate differently.
So when I hear the word ‘radical cleric’ being used for Muqtada al-Sadr (poor Iraq), I also apply that term to Pat Robertson. One scowls a lot and one smiles a lot and I am sure that both of those ‘clerics’ would not be amused by having themselves compared to one another. However, both of those clerics belong to the same ‘workers union’ of clerics whose job it is to lead their respective ‘flocks’ to their destiny.
It would also be wise of the various ‘flocks’ found in the world today to investigate the true meaning of ‘religion’ as opposed to the wild, blind-eyed inventions of mankind. In that respect the true Jew, the true Christian and the true Muslim would do well to dwell not only on scripture but to imagine what would Moses, what would Jesus and what would Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them all) think of the actions being played out in today’s disconnected world. Would these actions be acceptable in the light of the ONE AND ONLY LIVING GOD?
But for many, philosophy and false philosophy triumphs over truth. Don’t look for a change in that philosophy to happen in great numbers and so these little ‘geniuses’ continue to thrive and why not?
If only they could invent God, they could invent Paradise and their own ‘predicted’ happiness just like that wretch pharaoh tried to do in the time of Moses (pbh). Speaking of pharaoh, he believed as his own corrupt senses beguiled him into thinking that he was holding all the cards when he had the opportunity to meet with Moses (pbh). Pharaoh’s great love for himself and his hell-bent philosophy put him on a one-way ticket to tragedy.
One of the basis that is easier to recognize more than the religious/philosophical debates is the deadly combination of the supposed new world order (a kind of quasi-worldly philosophy) and the Judeo-Christian way of life of the established order. Most governments are into some form of this philosophy of life or trying to catch up to this ‘mode’ of getting ahead as a lifestyle to be copied.
In this lifestyle it is better to be bland, somewhat dull and unassuming especially about judgments. Any judgments made should not concern looking too closely into religious values too deeply as in comparing the best of the believers with how we act, live, conduct our lives and transactions and even how we wear our clothing.
The other partner to this fogginess is the so-called Judeo-Christian way of life which comparative religion has to deal with. What is the Judeo-Christian way of life? Nobody has quite figured it out yet but it sounds like ‘if it works for us and brings in the money, then that system must be considered the only real, successful mode of living. Anything threatening that position would be considered violent, barbaric, crude, simple-minded, a misfit and probably dysfunctional.
Why is this so? How can one answer that question? On the religious side of the coin that question can, in a small part, be answered but what cannot be seen, will not be seen belongs to that which is often stated and that is that ‘the blind cannot see nor the deaf cannot hear’.
*The original symbol of what is called Christianity today was the fish and not the cross and for a very good reason. The fish is the appropriate symbol taken by the earliest of believers as to honour the ‘SOLEMN FESTIVAL’ as is reported in the Quran.
Behold! The Disciples said: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Can your LORD send down to us a Table set (with viands) from heaven?” Said Jesus: “Fear Allah, if you have faith!”
They said, “We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that you have indeed told us the truth {in these matters}; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle” {that has come upon you}.
Jesus the son of Mary then made supplication to his LORD to wit, “O Allah our LORD! Send us from heaven a Table set (with viands) that there may be for us – for the first and the last of us – a SOLEMN FESTIVAL and a SIGN from YOU; and provide for our sustenance, for YOU are the BEST SUSTAINER (of our needs).” Q (5: 112-114)
This SOLOM FESTIVAL occurred after the crucifixion event whereby Jesus (pbh) came to declare that he was NOT the one crucified but rather he was saved from that humiliation and that he was very much alive and transformed as he overcame the world.
The message is clear enough. Our GOD, LORD and CREATOR is REAL and HIS WORKS ARE MIGHTY such that the foolishness and corruptions of men and the devils against TRUTH SHALL FAIL and the plotters of EVIL shall be consumed by their own VILLANY.
This Jesus did in showing that Allah’s Plan is foolproof and that the deceivers amongst men (both Jinn and men) would be confounded and made helpless in trying to defeat Allah’s Plan. Furthermore, it would now be time (according to Allah’s Will) to send Prophet Muhammad (pbh) into the world when it would be deemed right by Allah to do so.
In addition to this Sign, there was shown that the Last Day was to draw near and that the promise of this ‘drawing near’ and the sending of the ‘Clear Way’ and the preparation for the ‘paradise on Earth’ were a REALITY thus confirming the beliefs in the prophets that had come before and cementing the UNITY OF FAITH IN THE ONE BROTHERHOOD OF PROPHETS AND THE ONE BROTHERHOOD OF BELIEVERS.
Since I claim that there is really nothing new underneath the Sun, wouldn’t it be a real treat to find out why mankind seems to be saddled with this ongoing travesty and controversy of the crucifixion problem?
Mysteries are mysteries for sure but that expression doesn’t seem to satisfy the cravings of the intellect. However, all that we can perceive of this matter can come from two sources predating the Quranic Revelations given to Prophet Muhammad (pbh) which may make a lot of sense to some while to others it may make no sense at all!
The idea here is one of deep thought and not frivolity and that mankind will get from their choices some of the consequences that they so haughtily rejected in their stubborn unwillingness to obey their CREATOR LORD.
The idea is this. Choose HIS WAY and remain safe or go one’s own way by falling for the temptations of the worldly views in trying to (what a foolish notion) rework the Divine Plan of Allah.
In order of the Books that were sent down comes the warning from Joshua (pbh) to the Children of Israel. Then of course most of them disobeyed and turned to running after that which they were warned against and remained scurrilous in the eyes of faith.
“Now therefore fear the LORD and serve HIM in sincerity and in truth and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood and in Egypt; and serve you THE LORD.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell: but as for ME and MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD.” Joshua (24: 14-15)
What follows the above passage is interesting in that the Children of Israel swore an oath to be on their best behaviour but as true history has shown even from their Holy Book; they must have taken this ‘mighty oath’ with their fingers crossed behind their backs.
The second warning comes from that shown in the Quran about Talut (Saul). Notice that in both cases those contentious Children of Israel were given the choice about that which to follow – and the choice was theirs. The route that most of them took is obvious. Q (2: 246-2:49)
Therefore, they were given ‘Paul’ to deal with and the results for them and those who chose to conspire against the Will of Allah in their playful exercise of ‘toying with the truth’ becomes obvious to those who wish to ponder.
As the disobedient child says to his parents after they have given him all due warnings about playing with fire, “If I want to do my thing, I will go and do it no matter what you say.” Then he must of course suffer the consequences for his impertinence.
Because they, the Children of Israel, persisted in excesses of ‘mixing the leaven with the lump’, they were given the puzzler Paul to deal with each to their own leanings and that is that! So now we have come full circle and hopefully can understand a little better the sayings found in the Quran and given by Paul as it pertains to the historical struggle of TRUTH versus evil pretentions:
Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses. Q (5: 78)
Now the surprising development from one of Christianity’s biggest hero, Paul:
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him.
That you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter as from us as that the day of Christ is at hand {will be coming}.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and {finally} that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition {the Anti-christ}.
Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called GOD or that is worshiped; so that he {pretending to be} GOD sits in the temple of GOD, showing {declaring} himself that he is GOD.
Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time {and not before that time}.
For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now letteth {hinders} will let {hinder}, until he be taken out of the way.
And then {at that time chosen} shall that Wicked {one} be revealed whom the LORD shall {cause him} to be consumed {by the declaration} with the spirit from HIS mouth {in that HE, whatever HE COMMANDS HE just says BE and it BECOMES and this foul creature, the Anti-christ} shall be destroyed with the brightness {in fulfilment to HIS COMMAND} at HIS servant’s coming {Jesus’ second coming}:
Even him {that lying dark power the Anti-christ}, whose coming is after the work {in doing the bidding} of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved.
And for this cause {of rejoicing in corruptions beyond all reasons and against the HOLY WORD preached unto them} GOD shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.
That they all might be damned who believed NOT the TRUTH {and fought against it in their souls} but had pleasure in unrighteousness”. Thessalonians (2: 1-12)
Simply put via the Quran:
“You have met this fate because you rejoiced on the earth in things other than the truth, and then exulted in it.” Q (40:75)
“This OUR RECORD speaks about you {O! Mankind} with TRUTH: for WE were wont to put on record all that you did.” Q (45: 29)
We are not looking for mysteries here. What we are seeing, however, is the beauty of unified truth coming home to roost. And that is real comparative religion and that is the truth! Naturally, once again it must be said that the use of the symbols { } contain additional words put in for the purpose of clarity in understanding.
So we praise ALLAH THE ALL MIGHTY WHO IS FIRMLY ESTABLISHED ON HIS THRONE OF POWER AND MAJESTY that he sent HIS slave and Messenger (pbh) with the complete TRUTH and furthermore that TRUTH has not been allowed to be corrupted for the majority.
It is true that some individuals came forth and still come forth as if they were pursuing the home of the Hell-Fire and have made strange doctrines from their twisted souls for men are men and evil does not have but only one race or nation that it sticks to.
So when a believer reads the following verse, he does NOT become confused neither by its understanding nor by taking things out of context as those who have gone before them (the Jews and the Christians) in making mischief with all due lies and subversions by using their perversions in falsely trying to associate partners with ALLAH!
“Verily, those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is over their hands: then anyone who violates his oath, does so to the harm of his own soul, and anyone who fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah, Allah will soon grant him a great reward.” Q (48: 10)
Over the years there have been many debates between Muslims and Christians that have proved to be both fruitful and fruitless. With all the supposed greatness that these Christian speakers brought to the table, their philosophies, ideas and opinions, one would think that there would not even be a contest. In fact, there should be no contest because truth does stand out clear from error as the Quran declares.
However that may be, the Christian side has never come up with anything approaching a standard of consistent excellence because they have two things going against them: Their own Bible and its track record and true history.
If Jesus the Christ (pbh) was actually considered more than a human being by his immediate followers or even by Paul, they would have been so highly effusive about that fact that their words would have declared it so on about every page they wrote and this would not have been covered up but broadcasted in no uncertain terms. And why not? Their religion demanded that they Praise, server and worship THE GOD, THE GREAT UNKNOWN.
For example, ‘All Praise and Glory be to HIM WHO created us and all things and fashioned for us the lower heaven that we might sing Praises to HIM WHO is the ONLY ONE to be Praised.’ What we do find in the New Testament is something like, ‘Glory to HIM WHO is the MOST HIGH and to our leader, lord, master who has revealed HIM to us for our salvation.’ Every prophet’s job as well as their followers was to reveal to the masses HE WHO IS ON HIGH.
Because countless praises are not offered up to the ONE GOD on just about every page as the Quran does, these Christian debaters are actually offering up corrupted, man-made philosophies which broadcast one important facet of their worship and a very dangerous facet also.
That facet which seemingly has gone very much unnoticed is that the original disciples and Paul were seemingly rather crude and apish in their woeful lack of ‘true respect’ for a supposed ‘god’ who walked among us but that their own ‘wondrous’ revelations garnered from corrupt ideas and philosophies are far surpassing those who actually knew the real Jesus (pbh). That is the height of insipid arrogance.
It is to be noted that these creatures can and do represent that the Bible does contain five or seven verses which to them would imply a divine status given to Jesus (pbh) – FIVE or SEVEN questionable verses from their WHOLE BOOK FEATURING THOUSANDS OF VERSES???? Dare they praise themselves in their lifetimes more than they would praise the person they would take as god!!!! Have they not considered their own Holy Book which declares unto them ‘by their fruits you will know them’?
For the most part, these debates have not produced much especially to people whose knowledge concerning the finer technical points of religion is minimal but they do provide some usefulness in limiting and showing up people who try to flimflam the conversation by all sorts of trickery to the general public at large.
They also have tended to show as the debates have so often proven that an analysis of their faith should not in any way be put under close scrutiny whereas the analysis of the Islamic faith should be looked at from all areas that can shed doubts on it even if these areas are highly questionable and full of nonsense.
Once again we are having the great disconnect amongst the people whose ‘honesty and correctness of behavior’ is a type of reflection ‘supposedly’ reflects back to their founder of their faith. How embarrassing it is if a person is dealing from the bottom of the proverbial deck, and is called out by suggesting that that person is a ‘true’ reflection of one’s religious founding. This sentiment also applies to terrorists and a whole host of nonsensical ideologies based on mere fluff or imaginary pipe dreams found in the deviations of any religious faith.
Another problem that occurs between people who come to debate in so-called ‘fairness’ is the lack of openness to the UNITY OF THE SCRIPTURES as in the scriptures being ONE! The people who bring with them their corruptions are the people who can be spotted fairly easily if one looks close enough when the universality of GOD and the oneness of mankind are discussed.
The problem is basically a simple one and shows the weakness in their own humanity. The claimed followers of Moses (pbh) can claim, “We believe in Moses and we need no more” (instruction or prophets). The claimed followers of Jesus (pbh) can claim, “We believe in Jesus and we need no more” (instruction or prophets). And in truth, there are some self-styled Muslims who are considered ignorant by the majority of Muslims and claim that the Jewish/Christian scriptures are not in any way valid.
Furthermore, all good Jews, Christians and Muslims know that there are devils and false pretenders who have claimed scholarship and who trash the REAL REALITY of RELIGION and what it pertains to. These people are sometimes looked up to as some great authority so that they may be used to cause confusion and mistrust amongst those who claim faith. Those who use these trashy individuals can be made certain that like clings to like and even if that is a mystery to them let them be aware of ‘if the shoe fits, then wear it.’
From time immemorial the claim that the Bible was the true, complete and 100% accurate word of God has been proven beyond a doubt to be false. Going all the way back to the scholar Irenaeus to his idea of the books to be included in the Bible, to the Catholic and Protestant versions of the Bible and on to the ‘grave and false errors’ found in the King James version of the Bible attested to by responsible Christian scholars, it is just simple logic that dictates that this great book called the Bible cannot be considered at any time to be 100% complete and accurate.
One can go back to Irenaeus and proclaim, although falsely, that we HAD the original WORD but some of that WORD was thrown out and we lost it. Or they might say that now they have the original WORD but some verses have been cancelled or altered as has happened in the 20th century. The above statement is accurate in that it shows that better scholarly research has proved that the people of olden times may have preached the 100% accuracy of the Bible but their subsequent ‘alterations’ have proved that that notion was false.
Furthermore, the attack on the Mormon book by the Catholic faith by bringing up these Biblical errors that scholars made on the Bible and were carried forth in the Mormon’s claimed holy book proved that the Mormon’s holy book was just copying those ‘regrettable errors’ found in the Bible is an example of their confusion amongst their own ranks.
Every age of Christendom has expressed the sacrosanct belief in the 100% accuracy of the Bible both the Old and New Testaments. However, if that were the truth, then why come forth NOW in having different sayings or removed sayings from that book? What is embarrassing to them is that they play with a definite oxymoron and try to sneak it passed their followers in flowery language when with commonsense applied, their position becomes noteworthy only in the way they try to dodge real history and real truth.
The real truth as to whether the Bible or the Quran is the WORD of GOD is that they both are! The Old Testament, the New Testament and the Quran are all representations of the WORD of GOD. However, there is a real BIG distinction! The Quran is the only BOOK that has retained 100% purity in its original language (not form considering the diacritical marks only) as was delivered from on HIGH by the Archangel Gabriel and rearranged according to GOD’s WILL in the presence of Prophet Muhammad (pbh) representing the present format as found today.
Not only is it still in its original, final and everlasting arrangement by the DIVINE WILL, it is also GUARANTEED by the ONE GOD to be protected from corruption. No other Holy Book can make this claim and have it stand up to scholarly research like the Quran has been.
“Praise be to Allah Who has sent to HIS Servant THE BOOK and has allowed therein NO CROOKEDNESS. Q (18: 1)
Are there problems with this? A few people have tried to argue against this by laying down a pretense of scholarly show by the use of innuendo, misrepresentation, taking things out of context and other artful dodges but in the end only foolish people and those grasping at straws have fallen for their corruptions.
Why have they done this? That is a mystery but this mystery is somewhat revealed in the New Testament and the Quran and has been covered in my other writings. Basically, speaking, bees will not hover around dung but go to where they can get pollen. So, they are attracted to what attracts their being for their very existence and they rejoice in doing that.
When a man tries this, he goes for what attracts his soul both the good and the bad. Even if something is against all logic and warnings, he has a tendency to pursue that course and is blinded by it such that he can’t, without a strong will, move away from his deadly love. There are many cases of this but the one that sticks out the most is the group calling themselves the ‘Flat Earth Society’.
In this day and age, one would think that nobody could possibly be a civilized person with higher than a primary grade school degree and still think the world is flat due to the advancement of worldly knowledge and science. However, these people do much less wrong and much less mischief than those who misrepresent the WORD of GOD. This was not the way of a Moses (pbh), Jesus (pbh) or Muhammad (pbh) to behave in such corrupt and ignorant ways.
The great disconnect, that is the great disconnect from REALITY, is not only one sided either. Muslims are hit and hit hard from two areas: The suspicions of the west and the actions of the miscreants in their own camp.
A look at the various ‘Muslim countries’ around and in the Middle East shows a variety of cultures featuring cultural notions that have taken precedence over the pure teachings of the Prophet (pbh). These strange and varied customs often go against the grain of Islam as well as ‘family name’ superiority or what is most flagrant being tribalism. Adding on to this list is a type of ‘reactionism’ which when driven or controlled by a person whose religious knowledge is primitive at best, one can find faulty and dangerous so-called ‘fatwas’ driving some people into frenzied but illegal Islamic actions.
Yes, there are the grey areas concerning whether a country is being invaded by foreign forces but if a country’s leadership invited them in how is one to go against this leadership? Of course, the trouble comes from just who ‘elected’ or appointed that leader. So, it takes a bit of patience to sift through things as it were.
In any case, if the practice of Islam is going to be threatened, Mosques torn down, people displaced and made into state drones, real worship being frowned on or denied and true Islamic practices are cancelled then the war against the aggressor is moral and legal. If on the other hand, the ‘fight’ is over leadership called ‘the chair’ then the war is a tribal affair and it is not legal if both sides are practicing Muslims.
We have been warned by no less a personage as Muhammad (pbh) that the religion of Islam, as to the bedrock of true and strong faith, will go back to Medina. It seems, in these times, that the Belief is not walking back or running back but actually flying back. And such are the times and the turmoil that is approaching – be strong O Muslims be strong!
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (‘Abdullah b. ‘Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Verily Islam started as something strange and it would again revert (to its old position) of being strange just as it started, and it would recede between the two mosques just as the serpent crawls back into its hole. (Muslim)
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle (pbh) said, “Verily, Belief returns and goes back to Medina as a snake returns and goes back to its hole (when in danger).” (Bukhari)
**So the world is the world after all. That day when the rocks and the trees will utter their voices in rage against the cruelties, injustices and evils perpetuated against those who just wanted to Believe is swiftly approaching. But take care because the Great War is approaching also and ALLAH SEES ALL THAT WE DO!
“It is tempting to think that normalcy will enter the world at this late stage in the Fourth Age. Would that be man’s feeble attempt to try and stave off the inevitable event to come? There is no chance for that.
So the children of Israel have to follow through with what to them should be natural. They will be ready to reach the mountain peak (men of all races and religions have been claiming this glory since the beginning of time) and plant their flag on a new and wonderful day – a day that will dissolve into reality and utter horror.
The Jews of Israel are not a happy lot especially being boxed in by their neighbors and are waiting for the day that surely must come. That is the day of their deliverance and that day shall surely come. Oh one should not jump before one looks. The tired fly looks for a place to land its tired body and then lands on a spider’s web well prepared. Of course the fly will have its rest but Oh what a poor choice it made. That seems to be mankind’s lot going all the way back to the people of Noah (pbh) if they don’t have a remembrance and gratitude for their Creator Lord.
Anyway, the Arabs seem to have a fondness for annihilating each other especially over petty arguments and are not much of a force to be reckoned with. By a good chance, Israel is seen as prospering and any dire warnings from any holy scripture is taken as mere fluff and foolishness with the result that the land of Israel doesn’t seem to look so bad after all. In fact, it seems like a land destined to flower into greatness. However, something at the last minute has gone Oh so terribly and so very deadly wrong.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying, “The last hour will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, so that the Jews will hide behind stones and trees and the stone and the tree will say, ‘O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.’ The only exception will be the box-thorn, for it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (Muslim)
Many people without proper orientation of this hadith would be left quite in the dark about its import. Many might be shocked by the above hadith and even find it repulsive. Most people reading this hadith will probably concentrate on the killing aspect of this hadith and that is probably natural. However, there is something overlooked in this hadith, which has tremendous impact. It is not the killing aspect. It is the aspect of the very stones and trees’ talking that creates a feeling of awe.
The earth featuring its trees and stones is in such a rage, a very horrible rage, that they are even moved to speech. Think about it. Such a horrible rage to be set loose on anyone is almost beyond comprehension. It is a form of rage that even the earth itself seemingly has gone berserk. Not even the cruelest of despots or dictators have been put under that defamatory hideous event when their last moments have come to an end.
As to the boxthorn, it is a tree that has loving branches like tendrils armed with sharp and lethal knife-like thorns. Imagine the loving caress of the boxthorn as its tendrils slowly encircle its lover while its sharp knife-like thorns rip and tear ever deeper into the soft flesh with deadly delight.
The similitude of those who were entrusted with the (obligations) of Taurat (Old Testament), but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong. Quran (62: 5)
Perhaps a bad example in nature is the female black widow spider who says to her mate, “Come and service me and then we will dine together for you will be my food as you were my lover.”
The timeframe for this activity is during the very late stage of the Anti-Christ and some time before the coming of Jesus the son of Mary (pbh).
Naturally, many people are going to feel very upset by this Islamic prophecy and will go off on their own agendas to even thinking that the above hadith is either very stupid or else it is an outright blatant forgery. These people, unable to read the holy records carefully with understanding or who don’t care about those records at all or who go so far as to twist things out of reality such that God is only for them, have a right to blurt out their thought processes.
If anyone wants to complain, then one should go and mount up to the sky on a flight of stairs and give his Lord a lecture on His imperfections and poor planning. Otherwise, take comfort in the reality that we are only human beings given chance after chance to reform our lives through the blessed institution of the one brotherhood of prophets and that if it is eternal happiness we desire, then we must humbly follow the dictates of His Guidance as best as we can. Why should we take care? We should take care and be aware of our own selves, our own aspirations and even our own souls if that can be achieved especially in knowing that one-third of that great army sent to defend Islam will ‘turn their backs’ and never be forgiven by Allah. Allah is not confounded by the tricks of man and HE is not fooled by the insincerity of the tongue professing hypocritical faith or by a person’s race, tribe or lineage. GLORY BE TO HIM WHO IS FAR ABOVE THE CRASS NOTIONS THAT SOME HAVE ATTRIBUTED TO HIM!
Can good can come from evil as Paul ‘supposedly’ suggests? Obviously, this might sound like a trick question but it is not. Perhaps good can come from evil if one can learn from that evil and then avoid it. For example, can good come from watching a public execution? It might if the remembrance of the soul is stronger than the thinking of doing the same deed and believing about the avoidance of the consequences of that act.
A story and a lesson:
Once there was a man who took his friend who happened to be a cartographer on a ride high in the sky in an imaginary flying machine. This machine could go very high into the air and in fact flew higher than any passenger plane. It flew so high that the countries and continents on the ground far below were quite able to be recognized.
The only strange thing about this cartographer person was that he went to sleep for several decades and when awoke he was asked by his friend to take a journey up high into the sky. Upon awaking from his many decades of sleep in a mostly desert country he expressed his complete puzzlement as to how the area around him had changed and changed dramatically. “Why this area used to be surrounded by nothing but a whole bunch of sand,” said the cartographer. “Now all I see are places of lush green vegetation and flowing rivers.”
“Well” said his friend, “Let us both go up into this flying contraption and take a look around and see what we can see.” So they both went up high into the sky and travelled westward from where they originally started. The first thing that cartographer man saw was four of five very large islands. He asked, “What are those things doing there? I should have thought that I was going to get a bird’s eye view of Africa.” His friend said, “That area you are looking at now used to be called the continent of Africa.” His cartographer friend was taken aback but kept steady on his feet.
Next thing he noticed was a very great river flowing into the Atlantic Ocean and he asked what river that was. His host said, “Oh! That is the Nile River. It used to flow into the Mediterranean Sea but now it flows into the Atlantic Ocean.” The cartographer appeared unsteadily on his feet and he started to wobble a bit. So it was suggested that he go lay down somewhere to rest his weary head.
Well, the vehicle continued on its journey and he missed a few interesting sights. When he came back to the viewer’s window, he was quite startled. He wondered out loud, “What strange land is that down below that we are crossing?” His pilot friend told him, “That land that you are seeing now used to be called the United States of America or at least what is left of it and Canada to the north.
This was too much for the cartographer and he was completely dizzy but he had the sense to ask, “What in the blazes occurred while he was asleep these few decades?” Well, his pilot friend said, “Welcome to the New World and the New World Order. This is indeed a New Earth unlike anything that was seen before and before it was finished being fashioned as you see it, it was washed clean and set to right.”
Puzzled by this statement, the cartographer wondered out loud, “How can these things be?” So his pilot friend said, “This is the paradise on Earth that was promised. One doesn’t expect to find vermin in paradise does one even if it is on Earth!”
The above is just a story…isn’t it? Well the only way one can know for sure is to be patient, very patient and see what will come.
The many articles written on this Website were written for the ‘logical mind’ as it were. Dr. Badawi’s critical analysis of the Bible is for the most part very good and respectful of that great Book. Is he totally correct in all of his assumptions? The answer is NO, he is not and he would not make such a presumption. However, that is neither the point nor the claim.
The evidence that is given plainly shows that the Bible is not the 100% accurate and complete record that some of its adherents claim it to be. There is so much clear evidence given by Dr. Badawi even to using Biblical contradictions within its different texts to show that the Bible has suffered grave defects in its compilation.
However, that being said it must also be remembered that those who still believe in the total 100% completeness and accuracy of the Bible and those who have taken delight in trashing the Bible as nothing but a bunch of common fairytales have one thing in common. Both groups, to put it kindly, seem to be ‘mentally as well as spiritually challenged’.
If a person writes or talks about the topic of religion, he should be prepared to present his or her works to the LORD OF ALL on the Last Day of Judgment. Therefore, it would behoove that person to be as upright and honest as he can be because the topic of GOD’S WORD is not something to fool around with or to be treated in an off-handed way.
So the world is in a mess. So what else is new? The solution to this problem has been put in many ways. To me, the solution to this worldly life can be put in one word – ALLAH! HE IS THE ONE WHO ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES AND PEOPLE CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!
For those who wish to argue the point let them in all true soul-searching sincerity dwell in deep spiritual thought for several weeks if they are able, on these two verses from the Quran:
Never think that ALLAH would fail HIS Messengers in HIS PROMISE: For ALLAH is EXHALTED IN POWER – THE LORD OF RETRIBUTION. Q (14: 47)
It is such as obey ALLAH and HIS Messenger, and fear ALLAH and DO RIGHT that will triumph. Q (24: 52)
