- It is important to note that the use of {} these symbols are utilized by me to make explanations clearer. Even when the original texts as now seen do not contain these words, these words found in between the {} help, in my opinion, to clarify the issues or bring in information that is easily overlooked.
The issue for or against the so-called crucifixion of Jesus (pbh) has concerned scholars of the Abrahamic Traditions for many centuries and in a variety of ways. I have tried to answer that question in many of my writings according to the subject at hand even going into some depth on related but side issues.
By doing this, the reader might often find the knowledge that he/she would seek to be scattered. That could not be helped. However, I would like to continue the story of the non-crucifixion and yes other things as they come to mind.
In several of my books I declared that there is nothing new under the Sun and that is so true. Things keep getting repeated – different lands and different people but as they say, “A rose by any other name smells just as sweet.”
One would think that in this day and age people would be able to put such silly discussions as the crucifixion above hatred and murder and look at the subject in an intelligent and mature manner. Well, one would think that but that subject of the cross has been responsible (directly and indirectly) for the killing of millions of people one way or the other. One would think that this practice would be over. Ah! But we are living in this world and not in a sterile environment.
Dhu Mikhbar told that he heard Allah’s Messenger (pbh) say, “You will make a secure peace with the Byzantines, then {both} you and they will fight an enemy behind you and you will be victorious, take booty, and be safe. You will then return and alight in a meadow with mounds and one of the Christians will raise the cross and say, ‘The cross has conquered.’ One of the Muslims will become angry and smash it and the Byzantines will act treacherously and prepare for battle.” Some transmitters added, “The Muslims will then make for their weapons and will fight, and Allah will honor that band with martyrdom.” (Abu Dawud)
Jesus (pbh) was born sinless, a prophet and able to speak to the people from the cradle. He was endued with wisdom and patience. When he came back from his journeys, for he must needs to have been away from the Pharisaical Jews and their corruptions, he began his ministry at about the age of 30.
There is only one man of all the men created who has been chosen to be that ‘one’ who will have the great and awesome honor when his time comes to be buried along with The Prophet (pbh) in his grave!
Abdullah b. ‘Amr reported Allah’s Messenger (pbh) as saying, “Jesus the son of Mary will descend to the earth, will marry, have children and remain forty-five years, after which he will die and be buried along with me in my grave. Then Jesus the son of Mary and I shall arise from one grave between Abu Bakr and ‘Umar.” (Ibn al-Jauzi transmitted it in Kitab al wafa’)
And he {by the Ordinance of Allah} has made his grave {life in this world} with the wicked {the common folk – being a vicegerent that did not put on airs} and with the RICH in his death {when he will lay down his life and be buried with Prophet Muhammad (pbh) the leader of ALL the prophets of whom Jesus is but one, from Adam on down} in his grave… Isaiah (53: 9)
Now the worldly would think this no honor at all being entrenched in worldly passions and caring not for the unity of true faith or the records as they are one but would rather see things differently to their own advantage of self delusion – creating disunity, lack of harmony and corruptions sown on the earth. However, THE RECORDS ARE ONE when and if interpreted correctly and they are they that show the beautiful harmony and oneness of the faith called in English as The Way or in Arabic as ISLAM.
Not only that but when Jesus (pbh) returns and inherits his blessed kingdom, the paradise on Earth, there will be established such harmony that he will carry out The Prophet’s Sunnah to the full letter with the exception of but one. That is the Sunnah of collecting a tax on the non-Muslims. How should he collect this tax being that the world will not contain any unbelievers?
And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them {those who have striven against the truth}. Q (4: 159)
The mission of Jesus (pbh) was to the Jews and to be more specific, his mission was to those who were of the lost sheep of Israel. In other words, to those who were mired sheep amongst the wolves but who could not get out of the mire. Still, he was not a mind reader and could not read a person’s inner desires or feelings.
But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, “Send her away {for she, not being of the Jews, was an unclean disbeliever} for she cries after us. But he answered {to her} and said, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matt (15: 23-24)
But he {Jesus} answered and said, “It is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it to dogs. And she said, “Truth, lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master’s table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, “O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Matt (15: 26-28)
So even though he couldn’t read what was in her heart, her words did melt his heart as she accepted him as a man of great worth and a true spiritual leader. Therefore, he blessed the occasion of his meeting with her and performed with Allah’s Permission a miracle on her daughter.
Not long after his ministry began, he was embroiled in controversy for the Pharisaical Jews had made a comfort zone with the Roman overseers of Palestine and Palestine became part of the Roman Empire’s protected and taxed colonies. This was a cozy arrangement for the Pharisaical Jews for they were the dominant sect of Jews and enjoyed certain privileges.
Jesus (pbh) was not their friend and it became clear that he was their accuser Matt (23: 23-35). As a result of this and because he had a few thousand ears bending to his preaching and established miracles, the Pharisaical Jews plotted to kill him. In fact, they tried to kill him several times but he ‘disappeared’ out of their grasp which further enraged them as they were sure he was an evil sorcerer. It appeared to them that he vanished or bewitched people’s eyes such that he was a devil.
Then they took up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them and so passed by. John (8: 59)
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) once was sitting besides ‘Umar when the wife of Abu Lahab came by filled with wrath and rage willing to tear the Prophet’s eyes out as recorded in a Sahih hadith. The amazed ‘Umar couldn’t understand what was happening. How could this spiteful and hateful person not see the Prophet (pbh) sitting only of few feet from this evil woman? Well, after this venomous person left, the Prophet (pbh) declared that he was covered by an angel’s wing so that the hideous would be attacker wouldn’t see him.
So it was with Jesus (pbh) when the Jews picked up stones to kill him as he was surrounded by a bunch of thugs so as to kill him. But they were astonished to find that he was ‘gone’.
After more attempts failed to bring Jesus (pbh) to an early end, the Pharisaical Jews held counsel to hatch a plan to destroy him. He was now becoming a dangerous force amongst the people with all of his ‘healings’ that threatened to destroy their hierarchy and privileges being that he was ‘healing’ among the throngs of people.
Before the plan of his destruction could be hatched and implemented, Jesus (pbh) and his apostles were going up to Jerusalem. On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus (pbh) openly declared a few things to his apostles of the future and they became afraid. Of course he did not tell them all of the details but enough of the story was given such that the apostles were very much concerned and troubled in their minds.
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem and Jesus went before them and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve and began to tell them what things should happen unto him. Mark (10: 32)
But Jesus (pbh) told them to be patient and that if they were true followers of his and loved God, they would not overly question him but rather put their trust in the One God. He communicated to them to go to a ‘safe house’ when certain things would happen and that he ordered them to do this if they loved him and trusted him. And so as events were soon to unfold, the apostles gathered in one place and started to become concerned about what their friends were passing on to them of the news of the happenings of Jesus (pbh).
Before the taking of Jesus (pbh), they held up in a common house for a supper together and that is when the traitor, Judas Iscariot, did his foul thing. And before this dinner gathering, Jesus (pbh) underwent his Passion.
I have written before this that the New Testament should not contain The Acts not because it is not a good document but it is similar in a way to Tabari’s historical accounts of Islam. The Acts is a good document which also shows signs of being tampered with to some degree but it is still not a part of Divine Revelation. However, it is a good document and shows some very amazing and what might be called embarrassing things – historically.
The Acts, which was produced by an unknown author who was a sometime companion of Paul, has amazing things to say about Prophet Muhammad (pbh) of which I have written but also this document is amazing for other reasons. It shows a prophecy of Jesus (pbh) coming true and how the Pharisaical Jews and other Jews will be responsible for killing or inciting to kill countless of Jews who turned to The WAY and kept to that Way.
It also discuses a ‘mole’ who deflected these Jews murderous intent on The Way as well as showing a prophecy found in the First Epistle of John to be true. That is, that one Jewish group (strikingly similar to the evils that the Kharijites so-called Muslims tried to accomplish) tried to cause Fitna amongst the believers. Thus showing that there is nothing really new underneath the Sun even if the times are different and the peoples and languages are different.
The author of the Acts being learned and instructed by Paul among others makes the Passion of Jesus far more important than the crucifixion event whereas today, most Christians would place more emphasis on the crucifixion event than the Passion event. It is not that the author of The Acts ignores the crucifixion event or that The Acts is a document free of tampering with the addition of peculiar ‘editing’. But something important happened in that tomb* with Jesus (pbh) and the ‘crucified one’ (Simon the Cyrenian) even though Jesus (pbh) was NOT on the cross and most definitely he was NOT dead!
To whom also he showed himself Alive after his Passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Acts (1: 3)
When the hour of Jesus’ (pbh) Passion came, it was a thing to behold but the apostles were overcome as by Allah’s Plan with sleep. The Hour had come. Jesus (pbh) knew that he was NOT going to be crucified but the Passion was not about that. It was about a man who was given power and dominance but who had to face the cruelty of what was to come. For indeed, Jesus (pbh) had 12 legions of angels at his beck and call because he was a vicegerent among men. But all honor, praise and glory belong to his LORD and HIS WILL must be obeyed.
Do you think that I cannot now pray to my Father and HE shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be {so}? Matt (26: 53-54)
The last step must be taken before the prize is won and he who served his LORD with all of his heart and soul would not flinch but would follow that what was prophesied for him. Jesus (pbh), a truly great vicegerent, would be led to the slaughter like a lamb without opening his mouth to argue or to use his angels whom he commanded to interfere with what must come to pass.
But as should be known, Abraham’s first born was led to the slaughter also and he also went with willing heart for that he loved Allah. But know it well that Ishmael was NOT killed but a ram was substituted in his place.
Abu Ghurayb Prison Revisited
American soldiers for the most part are well trained and not barbarians. However, greed does exist and the horrors of Abu Ghurayb Prison are still fresh in the minds of people. So what?
Well, the Roman soldiers were exceptionally well trained and disciplined as history records. Roman law did not take too kindly to anyone going overboard and going his own way. When a prisoner is going to be executed, he doesn’t get tormented and tortured beforehand and the execution must be carried out as planned or else woe to those who seek to override Roman Law meaning sedition against Caesar especially from his own men.
When Jesus (pbh) was put in his holding tank, a high Jewish official of the Pharisaical sect entered the chamber with a bag of money and strong drink. He told the captain of the guards to give Jesus the FULL TREATMENT. The captain of the guards who listened to this wretch talk about things concerning Jesus (pbh) was not swayed by his conversation for he had his honored duty. However, money and strong drink and other promises can make a hardened man do things.
As in Abu Ghurayb Prison, it doesn’t take much to bring out the animal in a man’s soul and a video camera can record things to be ‘cherished’ as a souvenir of the event. Back in the time of Jesus (pbh), there were no video cameras but the soldiers chose lots for his clothes so that someday they could tell their grandchildren about the time a ‘crazy man’ who would be king over even Caesar himself was put to death thereby honoring the crown and Caesar’s reputation!
So they did things to this man who had no guilt or guile – very bad and terrible things so much so that when it came time to carry his ‘death instrument’ he fell down in a state of exhaustion.
But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all HIS prophets, that Christ should suffer, he has so fulfilled. Acts (3: 18)
In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: And who shall declare his generation? For his life is taken from the Earth {as he arose from the Earth and entered the Heavens}. Acts (8: 33)
Wherefore he {David} says also in another psalm, THOU shall NOT suffer YOUR holy one to see corruption {mortal death/Sin, depending on the usage}. Acts (13: 35)
Now we know that Prophet Muhammad (pbh) at the age of 60 years when he decided to march out with purpose on foot caused his Companions some wonder. They could hardly keep up with him as the ground as one hadith declares was made short for him (pbh).
Jesus (pbh) was a man who ate healthy food and was nearing his maturity so he was quite strong. Yet he was so beaten and maltreated that he collapsed under the weight of the cross after walking only a short distance going to the place for his appointed crucifixion.
This caused, no doubt, the captain of the guards to sweat bullets. Why? Had Jesus (pbh) died then, without the ‘crown’ getting its way (by law), there would be an inquiry into the matter and an investigation would have put the captain of the guards as one who made sedition against Caesar! His fate would not have been very nice at all!
Anyway, there was a man who was spotted among the unruly throng that was throwing out vile remarks and gobs of spit to show their hatred towards the one who was called ‘the imposter’ (Jesus). The foreigner, who came from Northern Africa by the name of Simon the Cyrenian, was ordered to come forward and take the cross up the hill so that Roman law (as the corrupt Jews had as their designs) would be carried out. So then these two men came close to one another and their eyes locked onto each other and …
*When all was done, a body (Simon the Cyrenian) was taken off the cross and prepared for burial to be put into a grotto purchased for a gravesite. But Jesus (pbh) was already in that grotto watching those who mourned place a certain body on an elevated stone. Several days later, Jesus (pbh) exited from that tomb but the grave was empty. Two were there inside but only one came out and no one was left inside.
Even though, with Allah’s Permission, comparative religion can help to explain certain things because the records are one, it has limitations by the fact that it does not and is incapable of explaining mysteries of how things were done, which if not explained in detail by the prophets, SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE!
Jesus (pbh) came out of the tomb but he looked different and he looked like he had been concentrating on some laboring that taxed his endurance. He came out whole, clean and completely healthy but there was something different about him.
And he {Jesus} said to them, “You will surely say to me this proverb”, ‘Physician, heal thy {own} self: whatsoever we have heard {you did} in Capernaum, do also {you perform on yourself} here in your country’. Luke (4: 23)
Jesus answered and said unto them, “Destroy this temple {that temple of ‘a’ human body}, and in three days I will raise it up {and I have been given the power as Vicegerent from my LORD to do this}. John (2: 19)
Lo! Allah will say: “O Jesus, son of Mary! Remember the blessings which I bestowed upon you and your mother – how I strengthened you with holy inspiration so that you could speak unto men in your cradle and as a grown man; how I imparted unto you revelation and wisdom, including the Torah and the Gospel; and how by MY PERMSISSION you did create out of clay, as it were, the shape of a bird and then breathed into it {the breath of life}, so that it became by MY PERMISSION, a bird; and how you did heal the blind and the leper by MY PERMISSION, and how you did raise the dead by MY PERMISSION; and how I prevented the Children of Israel from harming you when you came to them with all {clear} evidence of the truth and clear Signs, and when those of them who were bent on denying the truth said; “This is clearly nothing but sorcery and deception!” Q (5: 110)
He {David (pbh)} seeing this before {by Revelation in the Psalms} spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was {not going to be} left in hell {the grave – the Greek word here for hell means grave and NOT the Hell-Fire}, neither his flesh did {would} see corruption {sin}. Acts (2: 31)
{And now being a Vicegerent and raised to the Heavens and highly esteemed and blessed by the ONE and ONLY GOD} …he has shed forth {like a snake sheds its old skin to receive its new skin} this which you now see and hear {normal body of the speaker because Jesus (pbh) is already judged successful in fulfilling Allah’s Commands and has been transformed}. Acts (2: 33)
…And it does not yet appear what we shall be {like}: but we know that, when he {Jesus} shall appear {on his Second Coming}, we shall be like {similar to him in this paradise on Earth and in fulfilling that time we will be given, we also will die, go to our graves and await judgment for the PARADISE in the HEAVENS {for the believers} after our resurrection –Day of Judgment}: for we shall see him as he is {– the one who was judged and transformed}. 1 John (3: 2) See the article The Law of Grace and The Law of Mercy
He went into that grave as a vicegerent but he came out in the near fullness of his given glory as a Vicegerent. Of course he was still a man but a man who overcame the world in all things and after some time he would finally part from this world being raised up and cleared of all blasphemies and falsehoods from those who made mischief on him and the truth until all things that have to be accomplished (that which has been written as the Divine Decree) will be finished before his Second Coming.
These things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation {FITNA} but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world {thus saying that he has been JUDGED and found worthy as a Loyal, Trustworthy and True Servant of the MOST HIGH}. John (16: 33)
He came forth from the ‘grave’ with his ‘glory’ shaded but still he took on the mantel of the successful ones who at the judgment will be given a new raiment to inherit the Paradise in the heavens – for his time of rule was not yet at hand.
So as Allah says in HIS GLORIOUS WORD, Jesus is a Sign for mankind. After all, he overcame the world and he was judged – cleared from the blasphemy of those who slander and seek out lies.
Now the story doesn’t end here. The apostles were nervous because they were getting reports of what was going on. After all, Jesus (pbh) had many followers and well-wishers who would not be bored by news of his trial (a well broadcasted event as the Pharisaical Jews had believed that they had caught the BIG FISH).
And of course some would follow the events to the end and report back to the apostles. For these men who were not Jesus’ constant companions did believe in him and his miraculous ways and therefore were also concerned by the events (the trial and the events after the trial).
The apostles were nervous at that time because of the reports that they were getting simply because there was a great possibility that they would be next in line for extinction. However, when Jesus (pbh) walked in on them by a miraculous way, they were terrified from him as they believed that it was not really him.
But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit {because he was reported to them to be dead}. Luke (24: 37)
The Quran puts it best.
Behold! The Disciples said, “O Jesus the son of Mary! Can your LORD send down to us a Table set (with viands) from heaven?” Jesus said, “FEAR ALLAH, if you have faith.”
They said, “We only wish to eat thereof and to satisfy our hearts and to know that you have indeed told us the truth and that we may ourselves be witnesses to the miracle.”
Said Jesus the son of Mary, “O Allah, our LORD, send us from heaven a Table set (with viands) that there may be for us – for the first and the last of us – a solemn festival and a Sign from YOU; and provide for our sustenance for YOU are the BEST SUSTAINER (of our needs).”
Allah said, “I will send it down unto you but if any of you after that resists faith, I will punish him with a chastisement such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples. Q (5: 112-115)
Now I have written of these things in the book, The Non-Crucifixion of Jesus. However, if one concentrates on the saying, but if any of you after that resists faith, I will punish him with a chastisement such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples and remembers the horrible fate of those abnormal people of Sodom and Gomorrah, imagine the fate of the apostles being much worse had they had a sliver of unfaith in their hearts!
But they did not turn into renegades after hearing from their Master who overcame the grave (whatever that may mean for it is not for us to see the UNSEEN) but they went forth to preach the truth of The Way.
Then he opened their understanding that they might understand the scriptures {thus to be blessed with true wisdom without the slightest bit of doubt remaining in their hearts.} Luke (24: 45)
Now the Pharisaical Jews were not going to be put out of the way just yet. In fact they had about a century left for them before the backs of the Jews would be broken {by the third insurrection led by their false messiah}. So they took council about what to do with these new Jews of The Way.
They had to be very careful if they were to carry out their heinous plans. Sedition against Rome by making a law unto itself as opposed to Roman rule would be very dangerous. Still, if done correctly they might be able to swing it. Therefore, according to Acts, they were heavily engaged in a debate about destroying all the leaders of The Way. The thinking was to obliterate all of the apostles and therefore end that ‘faith’.
When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them…Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee named Gamaliel a doctor of the law having a reputation among all the people and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space. And to him they agreed… Acts (5: 34-40)
However, a ‘mole’ was in their midst and confounded their plans! He deflected their anger such that he reasoned with them that the New Way would dry up and blow away and the people who gave witness to these things would see only deranged fools who followed a devil and not the real Messiah (pbh). Seeing such, the people would simply ignore this sect of Jews and eventually they would dry up and wither away.
Well, once the barn door is open, the horses will bolt and closing the door again is useless! So what happened? According to Acts, many Jews started to enter into the New Way from miraculous acts so much so that the Pharisaical Jews could not openly raise their voice to slaughter tens of thousands of Jews just for the sake of murder which would go against Roman Law or else Rome would come down so hard on them it would make their heads spin.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized; and the same day there was added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts (2: 41)
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. Acts (4: 4)
So when they had further threatened them they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people; for all men glorified God for that which was done. Acts (4: 21)
And believers were more added to the LORD, multitudes both men and women. Acts (5: 14)
Still, the Pharisaical Jews could lay in wait and catch what fish they could and their greatest weapon would be stealthy falsehood against the believing Jew. They tried their best but the more they tried the worse it got as The Way was growing by leaps and bounds. To them it was almost like magic. Put people in prison or bribe those to kill others and stand by and see their plots fail.
And Saul (later to be called Paul) was consenting unto his death {the death of Stephen}. And at that time there was a GREAT PERSECUTION against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria except the apostles. Acts (8: 1)
Now some may say this sounds utterly fantastic but the Quran has a good passage about a ‘mole’ also. How strange it is to see an Egyptian man among the Egyptian heathens who is not an Israelite speak to his people in defense of Moses (pbh) and The Way.
To speak in front of Pharaoh and not get killed is a miracle in itself. The magicians who finally believed in Moses (pbh) were killed but this man was in a way lecturing his own people and Pharaoh himself – about the One God! So there is nothing new under the Sun!
A Believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh… then Allah saved him from (every) evil that they plotted (against him) but the brunt of the chastisement encompassed on all sides the people of Pharaoh. Q (40: 28-35 and 38-45)
Now there is the prophecy of John. According to John, there would be people who were with them (believers in The Way) but who would turn against them and go their own way and that is also in The Acts.
People may find that strange but it is Allah Who is the Turner of the hearts and HE turns them as HE pleases such that a person may be a believer in the morning but a disbeliever at night or a believer at night and a disbeliever in the morning. So one should fear Allah and not be impertinent.
They went out from us but they were not of us; for if they had been of us {faithful to the truth} they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out that they might be made manifest {in their corruptions} that they were not all of us {did not really believe}. I John (2: 19)
These Jews are mentioned in The Acts as coming from Judaea with certain messages from the apostles as to what should be done. However, what they brought were lies so therefore they were in fact renegades and not of the faithful whom they did originally join.
Those lying Jews came in front of Paul and stated that they were carrying a message from the ‘standard bearers’ in Jerusalem. The message was that a person could not be saved unless he first is circumcised. That did not go over well with Paul and he argued with them in such a manner:
‘Do you Jews, for myself am a Jew, believe that our God, the God of our fathers is a Holy and Just God? Then if so, you speak the truth. And being faithful to the tenets of our God and respectful to blessed and chosen Abraham (pbh) how is it with you then? For you want to say that our God, the God of our fathers, chose a disbeliever for a Friend??? For God chose Abraham and circumcised his heart while Abraham was still uncircumcised in the flesh. For though being uncircumcised in the flesh, he followed his LORD’s Will and then circumcised the flesh. Now you come and say that the high brothers and ministers of our master demand that a person be circumcised first before he can be numbered as a believer? What manner of doggerel is this?’
Now as The Acts has declared, those Jews took it upon themselves to lie (invent a falsehood against God) about such a thing as they were never instructed to say that as The Acts declares. But being caught out and faced down by Paul and then in knowing of their deceptive treachery practiced against the faithful in Jerusalem, they broke away and remained a thorn in the side of the people turning to The Way. For they could be clever and decide like the future Kharijites did that they were the only true believers and that Paul and others like him were spreading falsehood.
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren and said, “Except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no SMALL dissension and disputation with them, they {the brethren being taught} determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain other of them should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question {to find out the truth}. Acts (15: 1-2)
Forasmuch as we have heard that certain {men} which went out from us have troubled you with words, {thus} SUBVERTING your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”: TO WHOM WE GAVE NO SUCH COMMANDMENT. Acts (15: 24)
Indeed, Paul and those who were of like mind were vilified by their slander as these deceivers could appear to be followers of Jesus (pbh) and then sow their corruptions. And so it was with the disbelieving Kharijites as they eventually went on to condemn all of the four righteous Caliphs as disbelievers while considering themselves to be the only true worshipers.
Those false ones could feel smug about themselves when they engaged in FITNA and not feel guilty at all when they plotted and planned to wreck havoc with the real believers thus causing confusion and dissension amongst the people by playing one side against the other. What confounded arrogance those wretched people had!
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy and spoke against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Acts (13: 45)
But the Jews stirred up the devout and honorable women and the chief men of the city and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. Acts (13: 50)
But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and made their minds evil affected against the brethren. Acts (14: 2)
And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them {the believers} despitefully and to stone them. Acts (14: 5)
But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came there also, and stirred up the people. Acts (17: 13)
And this is the mystery known only by Allah for GREAT and GLORIOUS is HIS PLAN. How such peoples are bound in various streams of thought made attractive to them so that they cannot see and the blind continue to lead the blind. For those who deceive will be deceived!
Truly it is a gift from Allah that man can use his common sense and it is possible for him not to fall into strange ways twisted and corrupted. However, as Allah has declared in HIS WORD the Quran:
…For any to whom Allah gives NO LIGHT, there is NO LIGHT Q (24: 40)
So the expression of Fear Allah if you would prosper takes on a much greater meaning when it is put in context.
What of the prophecy of Jesus (pbh) about them? What did he have to say?
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace but a sword. I am come to set a man at variance against his father and the daughter against her mother and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household {sometimes here called of his own faith}. Matt (10: 34-36)
And so it was and so it became as Jews were to turn against each other and cause murder and mayhem amongst themselves – both the Pharisaical Jews and those who went ‘out’ from among the brethren as John declared. And in causing trouble, mischief and Fitna it rebounded on them such that the first Jewish insurrection ended with the streets red with blood and their holiest site in Jerusalem being reduced to rubble. Their second insurrection against Rome did not fare very well but their third insurrection led by their false messiah ended on such a note of horror that as a people it is a wonder that they didn’t become extinct.
Behold! Your LORD did declare that HE would send against them, to the Day of Judgment, those who would afflict them with grievous chastisement. Your LORD is quick in retribution but HE is also oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
We broke them up into sections on this earth. There are among them some that are the righteous, and some that are the opposite. WE have tried them with both prosperity and adversity: in order that they might turn (to US) Q (7: 167-168)
The Christians according to their Holy Book were at first, like Paul, Jews but following The Way of the Messiah (pbh) and it is not in man’s knowledge to know the finer distinctions of Judgment which is left solely up to Allah. What can be said of them in whose hearts remains faith has been stated by Allah.
And when they listen to the Revelation received by the Messenger {Muhammad (pbh)}, you will see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognize the Truth: They pray: “Our LORD! We believe, write us down as witnesses.
“What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the Truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our LORD to admit us to the company of the Righteous?”
And for this, their prayer has Allah rewarded them with Gardens, with rivers flowing underneath – their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good. Q (5: 83-85)
Sometimes it seems very complex when one has to ‘spread the Word’ to those who are ‘left behind’ in the joys of knowing the universal truth. However, upon further thought and with the knowledge that Allah’s Divine Decree cannot be overcome, there are some simple steps by which one can introduce Islam to those less fortunate members of society who happen to actively seek you out to change you from Muslim to Christian.
These things must take special care because the way the world works in its dynamics and often deceiving paradigms usually gives one a headache. Still, with certain values of catching up with technology and limited knowledge of true history and the often prideful values people associate with themselves there are some simple ways to get to the point without spending days and years in fruitless dialogue.
Only a few things need be remembered and they are such simple things. First, the Christian does not take too well to ‘foreign speech’ so if this person is saddled with the English Language only, talk in English concerning certain simple concepts.
The Muslim might begin his conversation like this: “I am very happy to have read some of your Holy Bible and it gave me great joy of confirmation to be a Muslim.”
That ought to be a puzzler right there. How can these things be when the Christian is trying to spread the joy about his Christianity? When that person is taken aback, follow it up with simplicity by saying, “Your Holy Book has confirmed in Zephaniah (3: 9-10) that the Glorious Quran is THE ONE GOD’s Pure WORD.” That won’t go over too well but a look at the meaning of these two verses puts it all in a nutshell.
For then will I turn to the people a pure language that they may all call upon the name of the LORD {King James Version} and serve HIM shoulder to shoulder. {New International Version}
From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia MY suppliants, even the daughter of MY dispersed, shall bring MY offerings {King James Version} Zephaniah (3: 9-10)
First, there is only one ‘pure language’ on Earth guaranteed by God Himself. That language is Quranic Arabic as Allah HIMSELF has guaranteed that the Quran will remain free of corruption.
Praise be to Allah, Who has sent HIS Servant THE BOOK and has allowed NO CROOKEDNESS Q (18: 1)
Second, a geography lesson about which country lies across from the rivers of Ethiopia might be in order. The reason for this is that either some people don’t know geography well or else they will try to conveniently forget it.
Finally, the importance of standing ‘shoulder to shoulder’ by making the prayer lines straight is an essential part of Islam or else the prayer won’t count. This may all be taken as ‘coincidental’ but that, in truth, would be stretching credulity to the limits!
That is not going to do too much because people won’t quit their ‘hot dispositions’ so easily so two verses in the Gospel of John will further pack a punch along with basic history.
In knowing that Jesus (pbh) spoke the language of the common man of his day or else they would not have understood his speech, one can use the following quote by replacing ‘the Spirit of truth’ with that language used by Jesus (pbh) – Syriac, a form of Aramaic.
However, when he (Munhamanna – the name for Muhammad (pbh) in Syriac) is come, he will guide you into ALL TRUTH: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear {by revelation from on High} that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come {as in the future Judgment} John (16: 13).
That might not add much to the pot but this might! “We Muslims love Jesus (pbh) and that is why we use the expression ‘peace be upon him’ after his name as we do all the other prophets that came before him. And we also honor his words such that he says”
“If you love me, keep my commandments” {that what I have told you to do}. John (14: 15)
“Therefore, John (14: 8-14) is NOT A REQUEST from Jesus (pbh) but a COMMANDMENT which I strongly adhere to AND I HOPE YOU WILL DO THE SAME!”
Failing in that aspect because a person might have the tendency to dodge the issue but harp on the ‘tons’ of verses that have been taken out of Biblical context one can revert to the following verse after making it clear that one is to follow the ‘wisdom’ of Jesus (pbh) AND NOT THE DOCTRINE MAKERS WHO CAME AFTERWARDS AND TWISTED THE TRUTH LIKE A PRETZEL.
So the proof of that and your love for Jesus (pbh), remembering that the Christian wants you to love him also but in his/her way and NOT the correct way, can also be found in their Holy Book:
As also in all his {Paul’s writings} epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest {twist out of context}, as they do {they have done} also the other {previous} scriptures, unto their own destruction {damnation}.
You therefore, beloved, seeing that you know these things before {beforehand}, BEWARE lest you also being led away {astray} with the ERROR of the wicked, { for who does more wrong than one who invents a lie against the ONE GOD – created by the false scholars, philosophers and others} fall from your own steadfastness. {correct beliefs} 2 Peter (3: 16-17)
So the Muslim can say, “It can only give me inner peace to be ‘refreshed’ in Islam and to be of those who have taken great heed and caution so as to be faithful to the commandment of Jesus the son of Mary (pbh) and follow the one called Munhamanna (pbh) in Syriac but called Muhammad (pbh) in Arabic.
Their heads may spin on that one and they can’t match the Muslim for being so plainly nice and reverent towards the Bible and towards Jesus (pbh) when they, in turn, talk about the Quran and The Prophet (pbh) in a disparaging way. How could they match the Muslim in straightforward kindness when their desire is to take you OUT OF THE WAY THAT IS STRAIGHT AND CLEAR?
But to end things and put things in Allah’s hands as are ALL THINGS anyway, one short hadith can be used and then followed up by a small quote from the Nobile Quran.
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (pbh) as saying, “There was an argument between Adam and Moses (peace be upon them both) in the presence of their LORD. Adam came the better of Moses {in the argument}. Moses said, “Are you that Adam whom Allah created with HIS hand and breathed into him HIS spirit, and commanded angels to fall in prostration before him and HE made you live in Paradise with comfort and ease? Then you caused the people to get down to the Earth because of your lapse {sin}. Adam said, “Are you that Moses whom Allah selected for HIS Messengership and for HIS conversation with HIM and conferred upon you the Tablets, in which everything was clearly explained and {HE} granted you the audience in order to have {a} confidential talk with you. What is your opinion, how long would the Torah have been written before I was created?” Moses said, “Forty years {it was put in place before you, O Adam were even created}.” Adam said, “Did you not see these words {written in the Book given to you during your earthly sojourn} “Adam committed an error and he was enticed to (do so)? He (Moses) said, “Yes {I saw those words}.” Thereupon, he (Adam) said, “Do you then blame me for an act which Allah had ordained for me forty years before HE created me?” Allah’s Messenger (pbh) said, “This is how Adam came the better of Moses” {overcame him through the use of this argument. (Sahih Muslim)
Say: “Shall I seek for (my) LORD other than Allah when HE is the Cherisher of All things (that exist)? Every soul draws the repercussions of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your return in the end {on the Day of Judgment} is towards Allah: HE will tell you the truth of the things wherein you argued and disputed.” Q (6: 164)
This would be done to end a conversation that might be going nowhere fast. First, you will not have the time to engage him in endless debates that tend to go around in infinite circles that tend to reject true logic, history and religion which has been sub-planted by false doctrine over the centuries.
The use of the above hadith and Quranic verse shows that man is not in control of things but he does have a responsibility to himself if indeed he is truthful towards himself and not just an idyllic dreamer of falsehoods. Thus, the conversation comes to a sharp close by pointing out one big fact:
‘I am responsible for my deficiencies and you (the Christian) are responsible for your deficiencies so shall I seek in darkness (supposed claimed knowledge supported NOT by Holy Scripture but rather false desires and whims) other than my LORD, THE ONE GOD, when HE is my CHERISHER, SUSTAINER AND CREATOR OF ALL THINGS?’
That ends the conversation and for the results one leaves that up to Allah because it is not our duty to force one to change an opinion or to waste time running around like a dog chasing after its own tail. Therefore, if the person is led to think and is directed by Allah to the LIGHT so be it! If it is not meant to be, then so be it!
The meaning hear is that for sure we humans follow a pattern as established in our father Adam (pbh) but most importantly ‘NO SOUL CAN BEAR THE BURDEN OF ANOTHER’ and everyone is responsible for his actions so that is why Adam (pbh) overcame Moses (pbh) in their argument.
That is why the Muslim can overcome the Christian for although the Christian would want to continue using a ton of verses to assault your senses, he is blocked from further access by the fact that you prefer to follow Jesus’ commandment rather than false philosophical mumbo-jumbo. Add on the fact that the Muslim is dealing with hard-core real history instead of a make believe fantasy held together with only twine, the Christian is now disarmed and neutralized without hardly lifting a finger.
As was said before, as to whether his heart will be open to the realities of the truth or not is not up to any man. For it is Allah and Allah ALONE Who is the turner of the hearts.
I had intended the article It Bedazzles The Mind to be my last article being number twelve and a nice number to end with. However, that shows what I know. A few weeks after that article appeared, someone sent me an ‘old chestnut’ of foolishness going around by e-mail. At first, I was not so pleased but because I had touched on the very same subject in my last article, I was somewhat pleased to get conformation on those events even though the ideas expressed in that e-mail were foolish and just plain hogwash!!!
The following e-mail contains some things that are innocuous and some things that are just plain Blasphemous. However, what does one expect from a people who take ‘amulets’ as a form of worship such as statues, crosses and the bones of saints?
Evil comes in many forms and evil is vigilant to attack man at his weakest point – the point from which one used to ‘celebrate’. Hence, the return to one’s vomit as reported in scripture.
The event portrayed in this worthless e-mail message can be researched from many a generalized encyclopedia dealing with such foolishness. Truly, that event did indeed happen so long ago and it was nothing more than a Jinn who tried to pass itself off as the mother of Jesus (pbh) with the final ‘visitation’ being topped off by a spectacle of a flying saucer appearance.
If governments, scientists and a smattering of the population desire to follow such foolishness, well that is their choice. But when truth comes, falsehood vanishes and only those who put their trust in deceivers are deceived. It would be far better to turn to the Message of Islam rather than falling for such ridiculous notions!
Prophet Muhammad (pbh) did declare that some foolish Jinn could still ‘steal a word’ from the lowest heavens but that they are not permitted any more to sit and listen in to what is going on. And what they steal they will mix with it 99 falsehoods so indeed these Jinn are not a trustworthy lot especially those who seek out to ‘turn away’ people from the TRUTH.

Regardless of whatever Creed or Religion, it is better to be prepared and be in good terms with GOD, who created us, for we never know when we will be leaving this world.
LAST SECRET OF FATIMA
The Church has given permission to reveal to the people the last part of the message. The Blessed Virgin appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917…….. this is a proven fact. One of these children was Lucia, (died 2-13-05). She was a cloistered nun, and lived in a monastery in Portugal.
Lucia disclosed the message for the first time to Pope Pius Xll who after reading, sealed it and stored it away without making it public. Later Pope John XXIII read it and, in the same manner as his predecessor, he kept it out of the public eye because he knew that once revealed it would bring desperation and panic to mankind. But now the time has come, and permission has been granted from Pope John Paul II to reveal it to the children of God, not to create panic, but to make God’s people aware of thisimportant message and be prepared.
The Virgin told Lucia:’Go, my child, and tell the world what will come to pass during the 1950’s – 2000’s. Men are not practicing the Commandments that God has given us. Evil is governing the world and is harvesting hate and resentment all over. Men will fabricate mortal weapons that will destroy the world in minutes, where half of the human race will be destroyed. The war will begin against Rome, and there will be conflicts amongst religious orders. God will allow all natural phenomena like smoke, hail, cold, water, fire, floods, earthquakes, winds and inclement weather to slowly batter the planet. These happenings will come to pass before the year 2010.
“For those who don’t/won’t believe, this is the time. Your beloved mother told you – those lacking charity towards others, in words & deeds and those who do not love their neighbour like my beloved Son has loved you all, cannot survive. They will wish to have died. God will punish severely those who do not believe in him, those who despise him and those who did not have time for him.”
‘I call upon all of you to come to my son Jesus Christ. God will help the world, but all of those who do not show fidelity and loyalty will be destroyed.’
Father Agustin, who lives in Fatima, said that Pope Paul VI gave him
permission to visit Sister Lucia, a cloistered nun (she did not leave the monastery nor was allowed to receive any visitors). Father Agustin said that she received him greatly overwhelmed and told him: ‘Father, Our Lady is very sad because nobody is interested in her prophecy of 1917, though the righteous are walking through a narrow path, the evil ones are walking through an ample road that is leading them straight to their destruction. Believe me, Father, the punishment will come very soon.
‘Many souls will be lost and many nations will disappear from the earth. But, in the middle of all these, if men reflect, pray and practice sincerity, good deeds, kindness and respect, the world can be saved. However, if men persist with evil ways, greed, hatred, selfish acts, rivalry, and rif, the world will be lost forever.
The time has come for all to pass on the message of our Blessed Lady to their families, friends, and to the entire world. Continue praying, make penitence and sacrifices. We are close to the last minute of the last day and the catastrophes are near. Due to this, many that were far from the Church will return to the open arms of the Church of Jesus Christ.
The joining of the churches will result in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, England, Russia, China, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Protestants, etc., all will return believing and worshipping God our Creator, in his beloved Son and in Blessed Mother Virgin Mary.’
WHAT AWAITS US???
Everywhere there will be ‘Peace Talks’, but punishment will come. A MAN IN A VERY IMPORTANT POSITION WILL BE ASSASSINATED AND THIS WILL PROVOKE THE WAR. A POWERFUL ARMY WILL DOMINATE ALL THROUGH EUROPE AND THE NUCLEAR WAR WILL COMMENCE.
This war will destroy everything. Darknesswill fall over us for 72 hours (3 days) and the one third of humanity that survives this obscurity and sacrifice, will commence to live a new era, they will be good people. On a very cold night, 10 minutes before midnight, A GREAT QUAKE will shake the earth for 8 hours. This will be the third signal that God Is, who governs the earth. The righteous and those who propagate the faith and the message of the Lady of Fatima is: ‘ONE SHOULD NOT FEAR, DO NOT BE AFRAID’.
WHAT TO DO???
Bow your heads, kneel down and ask God for forgiveness. Because, only what is good and is not under the power of evil will survive the catastrophe. In order for you to prepare and remain alive and safe, I will give you the following signs: ANGUISH, AND IN A SHORT PERIOD THE EARTHQUAKE WILL COMMENCE. THE EARTH WILL SHAKE.
The shake will be so violent that will move the earth 23 degrees and then it will return it to its normal position. Then, total and absolute darkness will cover the entire planet. All the evil spirits will be mingling around and free, doing harm to all those souls that did not want to listen to this message and those who did not want to repent.
To the faithful souls, remember to light the blessed candles, prepare a sacred altar with a crucifix in order to communicate with GOD and implore for His infinite mercy. All will be dark; and in the sky – A GREAT MYSTIC CROSS – will appear to remind us the price that his beloved Son had to pay for our redemption. In the house the only thing that can give light will be the – HOLY CANDLES. Once lit, nothing will put them off until the three days of darkness are over. Also, you should have holy water that should be sprinkled abundantly on windows and doors. The Lord will protect the property of the chosen ones. Kneel down before the powerful cross of my beloved Son, pray the Rosary and after
each Hail Mary you must pray the following:
‘Oh God forgive us our sins, preserve us from the fires of hell, take all souls to heaven, especially those who are in more need of thy mercy. Blessed Virgin Mary, protect us, we love you, save us and save the world’.
Pray 5 Creeds and the Rosary which is the secret to my Immaculate Heart. All those who believe in my words go and take the message to everyone, DO NOT FEAR! FEAR NOTHING DURING THE LORD’S GREAT DAY.
Talk to all, now that there is time. Those who keep quiet will be responsible for all those souls who will perish in ignorance. All those who pray humbly the rosary will have the protection of heaven. Those who are bound to die, I will help them die in peace, and they will be holy when they enter the other world. I wish all my children to attend mass every first Friday and every first Saturday of each month; to confess and receive Holy Communion; and in doing so, save the world from its TOTAL DESTRUCTION.
When the earth shakes no more, those who still do not believe in ourLord will perish in a horrible way – the wind will bring gas and it will disperse it everywhere, then the sun will rise.
The Pope and Bishops are now awaiting another message that speaks about repentance and prayer. Please remember that God’s words are not a threat, but good news.
True history is an embarrassment to those who pin their hopes on the world. But true history is NOT an embarrassment to those who pin their hopes on Allah, HIS Prophet (pbh) and the HEREAFTER.
