Solving movies or photos not being saved by Lumion

Lumion is a popular rendering software which is developed by Act-3D, used for rendering images, panoramic pictures, and animations. Sometimes when working on Lumion, you may encounter issues such as movies or photos not being saved although you have set the output path. Today we will take a look at the problem and how to solve it.

Why are Photos or Movies not being saved?

The reasons why Lumion doesn’t save your movies or photos vary, but here are some potential causes we discovered:

1.1: Overzealous anti-virus software preventing Lumion from saving the file correctly.

1.2: Saving Photos or .MP4 Movie files directly to cloud back-up folders, such as OneDrive. The back-up software might ‘lock’ the files before Lumion is done saving them leading to file corruption.
1.3: Saving Photos or .MP4 Movie files to a network drive. If the connection drops out while saving the file, the file can become corrupted.
1.4: Lack of Windows permissions. For example if the Windows User Account is a ‘Standard’ account instead of an ‘Administrator‘ account.

1.5: Lack of disk space.

1.6: Lumion 9.0 and older: Using a Windows User Account name with non-Latin characters, for example Japanese or Chinese characters.

Solving movies or photos not being saved by Lumion

To avoid save errors, you can follow these instructions:

Overzealous anti-virus software

You should add exclusions to all of the PCs antivirus and security software. Also, add an exclusion for Lumion.exe in all third-party firewalls.

The exclusions should include:

        • The installation folder – usually [install drive:\]Program Files\Lumion [version].
        • The exe file in the install folder
        • The folder and subfolders for user data in Documents.  Being Documents\Lumion [version]. Also found at C:\Users\[yourUserName]\Documents\Lumion [version].  Where [yourUserName] is the name of your Windows login account\profile.

Save photos and movies in a local harddrive

You should always remember to save Photos and .MP4 Movie files to a local harddrive. If the final destination is a network drive or a cloud back-up folder/service, you can save it in local harddrive first, after it’s done you move the Photos and .MP4 Movie files to network or cloud drive.

Lack of Windows permissions

You should verify that the Windows User Account type is an Administrator account. If it is a Standard account, change it to Administrator following these instructions:

        • Open Settings on Windows Accounts > Family & other users
        • Under the “Your family” or “Other users” section, select the user account.
        • Click the Change account type
        • Select the Administrator > OK

Run as Administrator

If your system administrator does not allow you to use an ‘Administrator’ account, you will have to right-click on ‘Lumion.exe‘ in the Lumion installation folder and select Run as administrator.

Or you can right-click on the Lumion shortcut and select Run as Administrator:

Lack of disk space

You should check and verify that the Windows User Account has got full read and write permissions for the following folders and that there is enough free space for the Photo and Movie files you are rendering:

        • (DRIVE):\…Documents\Lumion(VERSION)
        • (DRIVE):\…Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Lumion(VERSION)
        • (DRIVE):\…ProgramData\Lumion(VERSION)
        • The destination folder you have selected for the Photo or Movie

Examples:

        • C:\Users\Username\Documents\Lumion 12.0
        • C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Lumion 12.0
        • C:\ProgramData\Lumion 12.0

Lumion 9.0 and older

Remember to check and verify that the full path for the following folders does not contain non-Latin characters (e.g. Japanese or Chinese characters):

        • (DRIVE):\…Documents\Lumion(VERSION)
        • (DRIVE):\…Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Lumion(VERSION)

Examples:

        • C:\Users\Username\Documents\Lumion 9.0
        • C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Lumion 9.0

If the Windows User Account name contains non-Latin characters, you can create a new Windows User Account using a name that only contains Latin characters. The account type must be ‘Administrator’ (not ‘Standard’).

(You can see the passmark points for GPU here). Please note that Lumion 2023 is equipped with ray tracing, and to run it you will need Nvidia RTX series.

Ultra Complex Projects:

Ultra complex Projects are often project with high-end features like:

        • A detailed city, airport, or stadium.
        • A detailed multi-floor building with interiors made up of many models and HD textures.
        • A detailed landscape made with high-end Lumion features such as Fine-detail Nature and 3D Grass.

For example, extreme project like above, we will need a system of:

        • Minimum 20,000 PassMark points. Examples: NVIDIA RTX A6000(48GB), NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 (48GB), RTX4090 (24GB), RTX3090 (24GB).
        • With a detailed city or airport, you should use graphics cards with at least 32GB of graphics card memory. It will help loading the scene because of large VRAM.
        • With multi-floor building or detailed landscape, a graphics card with 24GB VRAM is enough.
        • To keep up with your graphics card, your CPU should have as high a GHz value as possible per thread and should exceed a Single-threaded CPUMark score of 2500 points or more.

Complex Projects:

Complex projects are often one in between, not so complex but not so simple:

        • A small park or part of a city made with OpenStreetMap or other simple models.
        • A large home with detailed interiors made up of several models and HD textures but mostly Lumion Library
        • A single residential or commercial model with a single section of landscape using some high-end models such as Fine-detail Nature.

And the requirement for these projects is recommended below:

        • Minimum 14,000 PassMark points. Examples: Quadro RTX 5000, Quadro RTX 6000, Quadro RTX 8000, GeForce RTX 2080(Ti), GeForce RTX 3060, GeForce RTX 3070 (Ti), GeForce RTX 3080 (Ti), RTX 4070 Ti.
        • 8 GB+ graphics card memory.
        • To keep up with your graphics card, your CPU should have as high a GHz value as possible per thread and should exceed a Single-threaded CPUMark score of 2500 points or more

Simple Projects:

Simple project are often project with simple features like:

        • A small park or residential building with Lumion models and textures.

This kind of project will need minimum requirement:

        • Minimum 7,000 PassMark points. Examples: GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2060 SUPER, RTX 2070, RTX 2070 SUPER, RTX 2080, GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 3060, Quadro RTX 3000, Quadro RTX 4000, Quadro RTX 5000
        • 4 GB+ graphics card memory.
        • Rendering movies in 4K resolution (3840×2160 pixels) requires a minimum of 6GB graphics card memory.
        • The CPU should have as high a GHz value as possible per thread and should exceed a Single-threaded CPUMark score of 2000 points or more.

You should notice that this configuration would not be capable of processing Lumions’ high-end features such as 3D Grass. Upgrading your hardware is a must if you wanna use high-end features.

2. iRender - Lumion cloud rendering service with single RTX4090

You probably also know that Lumion can only support 1 Graphics card. So if you use a computer with multiple graphics cards, it will not increase the efficiency of use, that is why you should invest in a powerful GPU with the largest VRAM possible.

At iRender, we offer you one package with powerful RTX4090, which is GPU server 3S.

Let’s see if it’s a suitable choice for your Lumion project.

Processor or CPU

As recommended by the software manufacturer, Lumion will need a processor with a single core clock as high as possible, and does not need more than 4 Cores, more cores also do not help processing speed in Lumion faster.

CPU is AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3955WX, with clock speed is 3.9GHz and can reach 4.3GHz with Turbo Boost. With it, your project surely can load much faster.

RAM – Internal memory

Minimum system memory is 64GB (RAM). Obviously, if you just do simple scenes, you can get 16GB of memory, but this isn’t ideal for large and complex scenes. RAM bus is from 2666 or higher.

At iRender, you don’t need to worry about complex scene you will load because our RAM is 256GB, much higher than the the minimum required.

Hard Drive

The speed of your Hard Drive plays a big role in how fast your models and Projects are loaded. The faster, the better. iRender provides you NVME SSD drives, which are the latest technology.

Graphic card – The most important factor for Lumion rendering

The factor decides if rendering is smooth or not, fast or slow is the GPU. Lumion’s hardware specification is that it requires 1 graphic card with many CUDA cores.

The ideal system for Lumion will require a GPU with 11G VRAM or higher, and a PassMark score of 16,000 points or more.

You can see that in this list below, RTX 4090 (also the GPU iRender provides) reaching 39,176 points, the highest points.

More than that, iRender also provides you other extra services. We have useful and free-of-charge transferring tool named iRender drive. Our price for server 3S is 23.124USD per 3 hours, saving you 6% when compared to hourly basis. If you have a large project, a daily/ weekly/ monthly subscription will save you more with discount from 10-20%. Plus, you have 24/7 support service with real human who will support you whenever you encounter an issue.

How does Lumion perform on RTX4090?

This article is to help you determine how does Lumion perform on RTX4090, and find the best solution for Lumion rendering.

Lumion is a popular rendering software which is developed by Act-3D. In the past 10 years, it has grown so much and made its name in the market. Recently, with the release of version 2023, Lumion is finally equipped with Raytracing. That’s a big leap in technology, and will come with certain requirement for graphics cards which can run raytracing.

Real-time rendering software like Lumion can only use one GPU. With the release of RTX4090, we think it definitely raises a curiosity on how fast it renders Lumion, and if it’s a superior choice compared to other graphics cards.

Some test renderings of Lumion on RTX4090 vs RTX3090 vs RTX6000 ADA

We have explored and found out some of Lumion test rendering on various graphics cards. They are all powerful representative of consumer and workstation cards, with VRAM varies from 24 GB to 48GB, from old architecture to new architecture.

This video is the test rendering of Lumion 12, where RTX4090 and RTX3090 have to render a scene with different resolution (full HD, 4k and 8k). RTX4090 is faster than RTX3090 from 2.1 to 2.5 times.

Come to video “clip 1”, an city scene with 5 star quality and 25 FPS, RTX3090 took 9m26s to render, while RTX4090 took 5m46s. Surprisingly, this time RTX4090 is only 1.6 times faster than RTX3090.

We have discovered another test for Lumion using RTX4090 and RTX 6000 ADA. Both are built on new Ada Lovelace architecture, one has 24GB VRAM and one has 48GB VRAM. It’s very exciting to see how they can handle Lumion rendering, and if more VRAM is better.

The same city scene is used in this test, but with more frames, means longer video. Resolution is full HD, quality 4 stars and RTX4090 took around 1h12m to render. RTX 6000 ADA, while having more VRAM, took longer to render than RTX4090, standing at 1h31m. That scene is rendered in Lumion 2023, the latest version.

Continue with the test on Lumion 11, the scene used here is Villa Cabrera, resolution 4k. RTX 4090 and RTX 6000 ADA render from exterior, pool area, patio to interior. 47 minutes is the render time for RTX4090, while 57 minutes is for RTX 6000 ADA.

To summarize, RTX4090 is the best graphics card for Lumion rendering now. It’s obvious that RTX4090 is stronger than RTX3090, since it’s the newer generation. However, when you compare it to RTX 6000 ADA, it still shows more power and speed. We can conclude that although RTX 4090 has fewer VRAM than RTX 6000 ADA, it doesn’t really affect the rendering time. More VRAM just means that you can load more complex scene, if your scene can fit into 24 GB VRAM, that’s when RTX4090 shines.

iRender is proud to introduce a new server 3S – single RTX4090, the most powerful cloud rendering server for Lumion.

Let’s see why iRender is your choice for Lumion rendering

Powerful hardware

As recommended by the software manufacturer, Lumion will need a processor with a single core clock as high as possible, and does not need more than 4 Cores, more cores also do not help processing speed in Lumion faster. Recommended clock speed is from 3.5GHz.

Our CPU is AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3955WX, with clock speed is 3.9GHz and can reach 4.3GHz with Turbo Boost. With it, your project surely can load much faster.

The factor decides if rendering in Lumion is smooth or not, fast or slow is the GPU. Our GPU is RTX4090, the latest one which is just released at the end of 2022. You can check more about the benchmark of video cards here, with RTX4090 being the king with highest score.

About other system requirements, like RAM or hard drive, our server 3S still can meet the demands, with 256GB RAM and 2TB NVMe SSD storage.

Solving the Glitch in the Lumion interface

In the latest version of Lumion, there are some reports about glitch in the interface. It could happen to Lumion 11 or newer, and not only Lumion, but also other 3D programs. In this article, let’s see what is the reasons for it and solve the Glitch in the Lumion interface issue.

1. What causes the issue Glitch in the Lumion interface?

Surprisingly it’s not a bug from Lumion or any other 3D software, but a  Nvidia driver bug. Specifically, it’s the driver 522.25 or Studio driver 522.30.

We have many Lumion users and they reported having this bugs recently. If you are a Lumion user, there is a chance that you might encounter it. So it’s a very annoying problem that affects your workflow and still hasn’t been fixed by Nvidia [December 2022]. However, with the driver 528.02 or newer, this problem is fixed.

2. How to solve the Glitch in the Lumion interface?

Fortunately, this issue can be fixed easily by following the instruction below. Our users have tried it, and successfully solve it.

If you have not install the driver 522.25 or Studio driver 522.30:

        • Then do not install these drivers
        • You can also turn off NVIDIA GeForce Experience to avoid auto-updating.

If you have already updated these driver:

        • Try to roll back to the driver version 517.48. You can use the Game ready, or studio driver, they are both ok. And installing the old driver will uninstall the newer driver for you.
        • [UPDATED] Install driver 528.02 or newer will solve the problem.

You can find the driver version here: NVIDIA Driver Downloads

        • If it doesn’t help, you should uninstall your driver using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) from guru3d.com to uninstall your drivers clean. After that, you can roll back to the old
        • If you have a Windows Restore Point that includes an earlier driver, chose to Restore. Please take note that the old driver does not mean that it’s released more than 6 month ago. You should choose a recent one.
        • If you do not have a Windows Restore Points, you should now create one so that it’s easier to roll back.

3. Final words

We hope that this article helps you to solve the issue of Glitch in the Lumion interface. Anyone who encounters this issue on our remote server, or on your own PC, or anyone who uses other 3D software but faces the same issue, could try it. Until NVIDIA updates or fixes the driver, this is the best that we could do to avoid this issue.

iRender provide to you high performance and configurable server system for 3D rendering, AI Training, VR & AR, simulation, etc. We believe that design and creative activities are private and personal that only you artists will know what you want with your animation. That’s the reason why we provide a remote server so that you can install any software you need, and do whatever you like with your project.

You will only need to install your software for the first time, and next time you connect to the computer everything is ready for use.

You probably also know that Lumion can only support 1 Graphics card. So if you use a computer with multiple graphics cards, it will not increase the efficiency of use, that is why you should invest in a powerful GPU with the largest VRAM possible.

At iRender, we offer you one package with powerful RTX3090, which is GPU server 3P.

Lumion went out of memory: Use Virtual Memory or iRender? https://irendering.net/lumion-went-out-of-memory-use-virtual-memory-or-irender/ Sun, 22 May 2022 06:00:07 +0000 http://irendering.net/?p=18847 Lumion may occasionally run out of Graphics Card Memory and System Memory when working on complex projects (for example when importing a very large model). If that happens, it will start to use Virtual Memory. This memory type relies on allocating some free space on the hard disk for virtual storage when the above memory is all used. Lumion recommends at least 50 GB and up to 150 GB for more complicated projects. So choose to increase virtual memory on your personal machine or use iRender's server? Which option is reasonable? Let's explore together!

Lumion went out of memory: Use Virtual Memory or iRender?

1. What is Virtual Memory?

Lumion may occasionally run out of Graphics Card Memory and System Memory when working on complex projects (for example when importing a very large model). If that happens, it will start to use Virtual Memory. This memory type relies on allocating some free space on the hard disk for virtual storage when the above memory is all used. Lumion recommends at least 50GB and up to 150GB for more complicated projects.

Note: The Virtual Memory will take up the amount of space in the selected drive. Therefore, make sure that there is sufficient free space for the increase. If you selected the drive where your Documents folder is located (usually C), verify that you have more than 30GB of free space after you have made the change. That is necessary for Lumion to work properly.

If Lumion urges you to increase the amount of Virtual Memory, please follow the guidelined steps below.

2. How to increase the amount of Virtual Memory

Step 1: Click on the Windows Start button, type the word “performance” on the search bar and select “Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows”.

Step 2: In the “Performance Options” window, go to the “Advanced” tab and click on “Change” under Virtual Memory.

Step 3: Select a drive with enough free space, click on “Custom size” and enter the value Lumion suggested in both the “Initial size” and the “Maximum size” fields.

Step 4: Uncheck the “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives” option, then click on “Set”, then “OK”, and restart the PC. In case you need help freeing up space for this procedure, follow the Microsoft website HERE.

If increasing the amount of Virtual Memory on your computer is not feasible and only temporary and you have many large projects and you need to use your computer for other needs, iRender will be a radical alternative.

LiveSync for Allplan plugin allows you to be creative at any level with any design ideas.

3. LiveSync fasters the speed allowing doing more with more

The Lumion LiveSync turns 3D modeling and rendering into a simultaneous, side-by-side experience. After adjusting the model in Allplan, you can instantly surround it with a richly detailed, biodiverse forest in less than a minute, using several landscape design tools and a vast library of animated nature items.

Source: Allplan.com

Because of Lumion’s lightning-fast rendering capabilities, you can immediately generate dozens of pictures and share them with your team after each design change. This enables more immersive collaboration and contributes to faster, more confident design decisions.

4. LiveSync allows you to involve your clients in the process

Because of LiveSync compatibility, you can now include clients in the design creation process like never before. When you incorporate their feedback in real-time, you may work in Allplan and instantly show the client the high-quality, stunningly detailed output in Lumion.

Source: Allplan.com

You can also involve your clients in the design by instantly producing a 360-degree panorama in Lumion and then viewing it with a VR headset like the Oculus Go or the Samsung Gear VR. If they want to see how larger ceilings would look, for example, simply alter the model using the LiveSync technical preview, render out a new 360 panorama, and let your client look around. The technical preview shortens the feedback loop, breaking the cycle of trial and revision. As a result, it allows you and your client to collaborate to establish a shared vision with the ease and simplicity of a friendly discussion.

How to fix a blank screen when opening Lumion?

You just installed Lumion and the problem is that there is a blank screen when you open it. There is no error message to figure out exactly what problem it is like in the image below. So, in this article, iRender will guide you through some ways to fix a blank screen when opening Lumion. Let’s get started!

How to fix a blank screen on Lumion

1. Check the PassMark score for your PC's graphics card.

Let’s jump up to the first way to fix a blank screen. If your graphics card PassMark score is below the minimum requirement like the image below, it does not meet the minimum requirement. In case you try to use this graphics card anyway, you will experience glitches and crashes.

If you think your graphics card meets the requirements, or are unsure, then follow these 3 ways  to send Lumion a Diagnostics Report via the Contact Us button on the Support page.

2. Send a Diagnostics Report to Support Center

The Diagnostics Report is a text file that contains hardware and software information about the PC to help diagnose problems. Technical support staff members may ask you to attach a Diagnostics Report to a Lumion Support Center topic from time to time when working to resolve a problem. Here’s the example of a Diagnostics Report.

2.1 If Lumion starts up without problems

After that, click on the Files button in the lower right corner followed by the Benchmark button.

Click on the Create diagnostic file button:

Then, a Windows Explorer window will display this folder: \Documents\Lumion [Version]

Wait for a few moments until a file called DXDiag_Lumion.txt appears.

Note: For Lumion 11.3  and newer, the information will be added in a folder named “techsupport” (image below).

Finally, send Lumion Support Center the contents of the techsupport folder or the DXDiag_Lumion.txt file, depending on Lumion’s version.

2.2 If Lumion does not start up (Provide Windows Report)

Right-click on the Windows Start button and select the Run command:

In the text field of the window that pops up, type “DXDiag” and press ENTER:

Click the button Run 64-bit DxDiag (if this button is shown) and wait for it to restart. DirectX will generate the report and display the following window after a minute or two:

Click on the Save All Information button to save the Diagnostics Report to a dxdiag.txt file. Finally, send Lumion Support Center the DXDiag.txt file.

If you would like to analyze a Diagnostics Report yourself, you can follow the following steps.

2.3 Analyze a Diagnostics Report yourself

The first step is to generate a DXDiag_Lumion.txt file on the relevant computer.

Open the DXDiag_Lumion.txt file in Notepad or any other text editor.

Verify that all available Windows 10 or Windows 11 updates have been installed

Lumion requires that you install the most recent Windows 10 or Windows 11 updates.

        • Press CTRL + F and type ‘Operating System‘ to locate this entry in the file.
        • Verify that the date of the latest Windows Build version is from December 2019 or later. For example: Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041). (19041.vb_release.191206-1406): ‘191206’ means 2019 December 6.
        • If the latest Windows update is older than that, please install the latest available updates

Verify that the graphics card meets the minimum system requirements

        • In Notepad, Press CTRL + F and type ‘Card name‘ to locate this entry in the file. If there is more than one entry (i.e. two graphics cards), you need the name of the card that is connected to the monitor that the Lumion window is running on. The name will either begin with ‘Nvidia’ or ‘AMD’. Any other graphics card name, for example ‘Intel HD’, indicates that it is unsuitable for running Lumion.
        • Use the card name from the Diagnostics Report to verify that it meets the minimum system requirements

Verify that the graphics card driver is recent

Lumion requires that a recent graphics card driver be installed.

        • In Notepad, Press CTRL + F and type ‘Driver Date‘ to locate this entry in the file.
        • Please verify that the graphics card driver version is not older than 3 months. For example: Driver Date/Size: 24/02/2022 01:00:00
        • If the date is older than 3 months, please install the latest available graphics card driver version

Verify that there is sufficient System Memory

If render engine runs out of Graphics Card Memory, Windows will allocate more memory in System Memory.

        • In Notepad, click at the top of the text. Then press CTRL + F and type ‘Memory‘ to locate this entry in the file.
        • Please verify that the Memory number is higher than the minimum system requirements: (Lumion 9.5 and older: 8 GB; Lumion 10.0 and newer: 16 GB)
        • If the number is lower than the minimum system requirements, please contact the manufacturer of your computer and ask them how to install more System Memory.

Verify that there is sufficient Virtual Memory

        • In Notepad, press CTRL + F and type ‘Page File’ to locate this entry in the file.
        • Add the ‘Used‘ number to the ‘Available‘ number to verify that the total number is higher than 51200 (50 GB): For example: Page File: 12448 MB Used, 38892 MB Available
        • If the total is lower than 51200 (50 GB), please follow these instructions to increase the amount of Virtual Memory
        • If you experience issues when rendering complex Projects/Scenes in Lumion, you may need to increase the amount of Virtual Memory to 100 GB or even 150 GB.

Verify that there is sufficient free space on the harddrive(s)

When you save .LS Scene files in Lumion, they are temporarily saved to the folder below before being moved to the destination folder you selected:

Lumion 8.5 and older: (DRIVE):\…Documents/Lumion (VERSION)

Lumion 9.0 and newer: (DRIVE):\…Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Lumion (VERSION)

Examples:

Lumion 8.5 and older: C:\Users\Username\Documents\Lumion 8.0

Lumion 12.0: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Lumion 12.0

Lumion can only save .LS Scene files if there is enough free space on the drive that these folders are located on.

        • In Notepad, press CTRL + F and type ‘Free Space’ to locate the entry for the relevant drive in the file.
        • Verify that the number is higher than 30 GB: For example: Free Space: 111.5 GB
        • If the total is lower than 30 GB, please remove some files from the drive to increase the amount of free space to a minimum of 30 GB.

Above are some ways to fix a blank screen problem when opening the Lumion software on your computer. Hope they are useful for you!

Exploring System Requirements for Lumion 12.3 with iRender

Through many years of improvement and updates, Act-3D has released a dozen versions of Lumion. There are many improvements and developments in the new version Lumion 12, and latest Lumion 12.3. You can take this chance to upgrade and migrate your work. As a 3D rendering program, Lumion is different from other CAD software as it relies primarily on having an excellent graphics card. This is especially important for Lumion’s high-end features. Lumion also requires a computer with a fast graphics card with plenty of memory, as well as an internet connection. To make rendering simpler and easier, we will need to understand the system requirements first. In Blog’s Today, we will explore “System Requirements for Lumion 12.3”.

1. Minimum requirements Lumion 12.3

Lumion 12 requires a Windows operating system, using Windows 10 version 1809 or newer, or Windows 11 version 21H2 or newer. We recommend updating your Windows 10 to version 2004 or newer as it includes the Windows feature “Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling” which improves the performance of Lumion in some Projects. Lumion will benchmark your computer on Graphics Card, Graphics Memory, CPU and system memory. If any of these components have a red score, you may want to upgrade this component for a better Lumion experience.

2. Graphic card requirements:

  • GPU scoring a G3DMark of 7,000 or higher with up-to-date drivers. (Such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, Quadro K6000, AMD Radeon RX 470 or better)
  • Graphics card memory needs 4Gb or more
  • Operating system needs Up-to-date Windows 10 64-bit or newer
  • System memory (RAM) needs 16GB or more
  • Hard drive space minimum 40 GB of free disk space in the drives where the Windows User Account and Documents folder are located.
  • CPU (processor) Intel/AMD processor scoring a single thread CPUMark of 2000 or higher. (Such as the AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, Intel Core i7-3770K or better).

You probably also know that Lumion can only support 1 Graphics card. So if you use a computer with multiple graphics cards, it will not increase the efficiency of use, that is why you should invest in a powerful GPU with the largest VRAM possible. At iRender, we offer you one package with powerful RTX3090, which is GPU server 3A. Our server 3A with CPU 3.9GHz4.5GHz from Intel Xeon W-2245 processor, along with single RTX3090 now is the best choice, which can serve any project in Lumion.
